I’ve been waiting so long to see someone else play this! Most fun I’ve ever had playing a roguelite, and has a surprising amount of replayability. Thank you truly for coming back to this game.
I bought this game a couple of months ago but had to put it down after I died to the first boss, because I kept taking damage during a cutscene. (I had a penalty, from the assault level, which put a torrent in the middle of the room, and it kept firing while he was talking. I didn't realize it was happening or that I was taking damage until the dialogue finished, at which point I was already on low health.) Unfortunately, the devs have been MIA for a few months, so it hasn't been patched, though realistically, that specific combination is unlikely to be a frequent issue. Still, it was fun to see this game get some coverage.
I finally played Crosscode the first time recently. I then watched some of your series on it, have you played the DLC New Home already? What did you think of it if you did?
No worries, you should get the important things done first. But I'm working on getting 100%, and looking back, even though I struggled with a lot of dungeons, especially the dlc one, it does fit what the devs where going for quite well. Several characters I have really become fond of too. As another person says, it's more peak Crosscode, everything remixed from the main game and brought together in a great way. I used assist mode for that final boss though, a tough but cool fight where you need to master your combat skills!
@@wanderbots i think the simplicity of neon abyss was something i really liked. i gotta admit i havent watched the whole video yesterday as i was exhausted AF from work but ill check it out tonight in detail ;) i still like the visuals alot
I've been playing this since drop, and i must say. It's pretty fun, and has come a LONG WAY!!! Definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.

Well, I was going to buy it on Steam this week after watching your video, but I am glad I waited -- what a timely Humble Choice pick for the week!

Was hoping that you would try out this game once again!
I understand why you pronounced panus they way you did but I cannot avoid pronouncing it in my head exactly the way you think I am.

I haven't yet. I plan on replaying through Crosscode New Home + a NG+ run as Manlea, but I keep getting sidetracked with life stuff.

I like it more than neon abyss, but I'm not entirely sure why.
