    Nice work boys:) gotta figure out how we can stop the turbo actuators from failing.

  • @HYDROMAXplus

    Just use vise grips to flatten the turbo bleed off and those hot turbo gases won't melt the pvc system. The cap off horn and run a hose down to let gases out. Low cost

    Finally got a decent day in wisconsin to install this kit. Started by dropping the damn easy out bit deep into the crevices of my l5p. Took forever to find where it went and the rest of the day fishing it out... snow rain tomorrow and up through Sunday. I got time to find something that will retain that bit by then

    You can order the CCV with out the valve cover. It will come with the CCV and the pipe going to the intake

    What if I don’t hook that tube up to the intake and just ran it down the frame rail and dump out the bottom of truck?

      To get the bolt out from under the turbo was a pain in the ass. I ended up using a T 40 hammering it on, and just praying it come off and it finally did I spent probably an hour on that bolt The other three were perfectly fine.

      @@ThanksHero alright let's dig into then. In order for air to move there has to be an energy differential, a high pressure and a low pressure system (fun fact this is how weather works). If the air inside the crank case isn't a fixed volume and is required to vent somewhere, the only way it would actually vent is if the crankcase had higher pressure than where the vent terminates. If you were to read the pressure of the crank case on any engine you would see it fluctuating as the displaced volume of air changes with each rpm. This happens because it's not a perfect seal in each cylinder and even at idle there is a small amount of air that needs to be vented in order to not cause issues. Now I gathered you think your knowledge is superior because you assumed that I didn't know diesel engines don't actually draw a vacuum, but in fact operate at atmospheric pressures. Which is why you tried claiming that CCV is more common than PCV as an acronym and I must come from the dreaded gasser world. How dare I, right? Luckily I've built and tuned an engine or two, of both fuel types in question. I even spent some time going to school to be a diesel mechanic. Lucky for us none of that matters because this is the internet. You might not even be real. Then again, you might be real. As real as they come actually. I bet you have plenty of accolades and reasons to think you're cool. So I'll refrain from flexing any further on you. Just know, if air moves it's because of a pressure differential. Thus making the ventalation system a positive crankcase ventilation system. Because if the pressure was never positive it wouldn't be a vent. Now go kiss your mom for me.

      @@michaelfralick2355 bro I’m not going to sit here, read your wall of text, and pretend you didn’t just google all that shit when you thought “CCV” was an acronym they just came up with.

  • @Jc-bo1uu
    @Jc-bo1uu ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can’t you just delete it? What I mean about that is, run the CCV line down to the frame brown instead of running back into the intake? I was thinking of doing that after my warranty ends.

    does it matter wich side you bolt the 90 and the cap on the rear piece ?
