Which is fitting since most Ikea furniture is filled with cardboard.

Watched this to see if my struggles with playing Sweden were just skill issues, and I learned that I should be using the apds, and that yes indeed it is a skill issue
came here to see if it was the same for me
i haven't gotten a single kill with the apds in rb or arcade
it either never spalls and kills anyone else or it doesn't pen because who would've thought going against a t-34 in literal paper with subpar ammo was balanced lmao
i haven't even used anything other than the ikv every other tank until tier 3 and ones that aren't finnish suck imo

That reminds me; I've still got my T-28 in the box that I need to assemble.
The APHE is suprisingly Potent on the 3,7 cm guns, especially when dealing with light armour and more spaced out crew
Ths might be *late* but this is a little tip. When using the strv m/31, face your rear against the enemy and drive in reverse. Its reverse speed is pretty good and its rear armor is wierdly better than its front armor. Your engine shields your crew and part of your turret is covered, vastly increasing survivability.
APDS at rank one, so you can get used to disappointment early
Yeah, everyone focused on APDS and then they found themself in a slow turret rotation, mediocre speed and paper face tanks and TDs.
The most outragous from Sweeden is the horrible turret rotation speed of their SPAA. 20mm cal is a thing you can brough to 6.0 to shoot CAS (and honestly 40mm cannot do anything to CAS without the flak shell, in fact they are built closed to TD roles) but it has super duper slow turret rotation.

As someone who plays Sweden in Warthunder I can agree
Only when you can unlock APDS or escaped the Tier III hell. Before that you are strucked with a cardboard tank with a puny solid shots that cannon pen everything. The PzKvII is the one that make you wonder does Gaijin dev use meth during construct a skilltree to add a 50mm pen AP shot at stock gun and locked the HEAT shells up to rank IV, forced you to died 100 times to get enough XP to unlock it.

Low tier swrden by far gave me the worst experience in WT. Like literally all it has going for is the APDS able to inconsistently pen Shermans, thats really all. Their tanks are very slow, very large in size, poorly armored and the gun caliber is just abysmal. APDS itself doesnt like to spall already, 37mm APDS is just really crap. The EH just baffles me... Somehow a 45mm gun BT5 has more penetration than a 75mm gun.

As a fella who just got into WT and made Sweeden as my first faction.....is it normal that I am loosing my mind so often? I either never pen anything or it does nothing....I only find joy in that one II spaa with the auto cannon....
Well it helps if you simply know where to shoot to get a one or two shot kill (with aphe). For example knowing weak spots in enemy armour, knowing where crew members are, knowing where the ammo racks are, and other crucial moduals, would definitely help you out.
Its best to foucus on the ammo racks (easy kill) and crew members (crew members afterall are the ones operating the vehicle so taking out the gunner for example will disable the enemy from shooting back)
Now for your apds, youre gonna want to use that only for penetrating thick armour, with aphe as your main (aphe is what does the most damage to the interior of the enemy vehicle)
Quite a lot to learn but hopefully this helps😭🙏

Hey I noticed you have aim from gunner sight on. Go ahead and turn that off and itll put your sight at the end of your gun. Its insanely useful
Okay so for the first bit of the video, I do have my sight in from the gunner optic but thats just because I began recording this video a while back (like a month ago iirc) and I still had my gunner view to be from the gunner's sight. That has since changed and you'll see it later on in the video! (I only changed it because I was annoyed by the placement of the gunner sight in the M1128 lmao)
