Not sure if you’ll answer but I did a parameter reset with a im508 on a Ford Taurus 2014 and after it read success I turned off the vehicle and after it didn’t want to turn back on at all not even the dashboard what do I do in this situation?

2 keys will be needed for all keys lost procedure. When the reset is done it will still show keys in the system but you have to do akl to complete the procedure to be able to start the vehicle
Keytool plus is a great tool. Definitely better than autel for euro vehicles. Autel is better for asian and domestic vehicles. My only gripe with xhorse is that the instructions can sometimes be confusing
What is the purpose of a parameter reset? I see that it says only if the bcm/pcm is replaced. Is this the case for this vehicle? I have yet to come across a newer style ford smart key. Is this a necessary process for AKL on all of them ?
Parameter reset is like a handshake between pcm and pats module. If pcm replaced you have to do the reset. All Keys Lost is to delete keys and add them back in so the keys work properly
