Good afternoon. I live in New Zealand and i am looking at starting a key smith business. There are thousands of videos online talking about how to become one, but i am not finding something that would fit what i have on mind. All i want is to do key cutting + key cloning. This is for a start, but later on i am wanting to get into all key lost business and learn how to work with the lishe tool. My question is, what are the best 3 tools you would recommend for key cutting and cloning. Something that you use all the time.

if you had a 4-5k starting budget for equipment and inventory stock...what machines would you choose? I am leaning towards the 508s with xp400 and dolphin 2 cutter. Thinking of purchasing the Autel smart remote 10 pack for popular vehicles and the 500 transponder key pack. Rest of the budget will be spent on a lishi set

Hey brotha, I am early into my self taught auto locksmith training before I purchase any gear. Enjoin your channel so far. Something I saw on another channel was to purchase a faraday bag (amazon) and it makes life way easier as you just have to put the keys in the bag instead of getting out of the car

What is the purpose of a parameter reset? I see that it says only if the bcm/pcm is replaced. Is this the case for this vehicle? I have yet to come across a newer style ford smart key. Is this a necessary process for AKL on all of them ?
