@@deankallstrom1968 awesome content! I think my favourite movie muscle car of all time is that convertible GTX from the movie Tommy Boy. Thats the stuff dreams are made from!
Man, I Love how original this ole girl is! Like you said, there's zero chance that Sears would have given him a trans that close to original if they had swapped it. Love the Centerlines!
Yes,it’s amazing that a car this “used” managed to keep its original drivetrain all these years. She’s beat, but will live again! Yeah, I love the tough looks of the Centerlines. Thx for watching!
I checked the Rockauto listing for these studs. They’re the same part number as I got locally. So they won’t fit. A friend suggested I stick on another used drum with the proper studs. We’ll see.thx for watching.
Those passenger side rear shoes are worn out for a reason... one tire fire burnouts! Massive difference those wheels make. I'm not one of those guys who hates Centerlines. I have a bunch myself! You probably had those valves hang up when you rolled the engine over.
Good point on the brake stands! lol. You’re probably right on the valves. I’ll turn the engine over numerous times more when I pre oil it. Hopefully they free up some more.
Nothing beats a set of REAL Centerlines...there were so many cheap clones back in the day. I have polished Auto Drags on my '86 GN, 15 x 7" on the front and 15 x 8.5" rears. However, since I think you can only get satin-finish Centerlines anymore, not the polished Auto Drags, I chose US Mags Indy 101 slots for my '70 Charger. I'm not a fan of 5-spokes, they're just done-to-death.
I love slots when they’re all polished up. I still like the 5 spokes as long as they’re vintage style. I don’t care for the modern torque thrusts-way too popular.
@@deankallstrom1968 exactly- I don't get in anybody's face or get vocal....I just do "My thing." I have a '76 Valiant sedan- I normally run around on a set of 15"x7" VN47's with BFG's. Also have a set of Lincoln LSC Turbines (16" x7") I have sticky tires on for running TSD events on- the suspension & steering are far from stock. People often do a double take trying to figure it out (the wheels say "Made in England," nothing 'Ford') because they aren't quite right, but don't look really off.
I love your channel ❤️
Awesome! Thx for watching!
Looks great with the Centerlines.
Yes,I think so too!
Love the centerlines! Looks steet tough. Lol. I just love the lines of the GTX. Glad you are rescueing her
Yeah, I do too. Fat tires make all the difference. The GTX has such clean lines. Thx for watching Scott!

I have a similar style ET set can't find the correct plastic center caps .
The wheel studs look exactly like the ones on our 60 Fury.....We got ours on Rockauto and the fit perfect!

Had a 69 coronet sold back in the 90s forgot to remind the buyer of LH studs he called me b4 .he almost broke one. Lol
Easy to do. I was doing it in the video. Had to stop and think about it! lol. It comes so natural with the right hand studs.

I hate oxygen! But all my Mopars have Centerlines!

I found out recently there's a whole lot of different wheel studs . Why????
Yeah, no kidding. Such a simple part with a simple job! Lol

Sorry; but Centerlines, Cragar S/S's...overdone, unimaginative and quite frankly- ugly. It's just my opinion, it's not my car or anything
Don’t be sorry, you can have any opinion you want. I love them!👍👍
@@deankallstrom1968 people lose their minds when I state my opinion at times.
It’s all good! We can’t and don’t want to be all same.👍
