It is unbelievable how this channel has only this much views. Top quality tutorials, I enjoy them and learn from them so much. Every 3d modeling tutorial should be like this.
When, for instance changing the offset in an extrusion in the pop up menu, if you hold ctrl and drag, it will change the stepping rate of the offset to smaller increments, meaning you don't have to start typing in fractions. I've been using Maya for a few years but still love seeing beginner tutorials... There is always something new to learn. Great video, thanks.
Im an experienced Max user but recently trying to switch to Maya as the new company that I'm interviewing is using Maya in their pipelines. I'm so thankful to you for making this easy to digest tutorials. I can get up and running in Maya in less than a week. Thanks a lot man. May God bless you
Good to see you back on track Sir. I was expecting advanced modeling tutorial videos but this tutorial will help many. Hope we may see the advanced modeling techniques in the upcoming days like the Datsun modeling series. Thank You
I used to be a student of yours and this content has definitely helped get the rust off. Recently I have been trying to model busts for 3D printing. Could you do a video on the proper workflow on sculpting or modeling for busts?
My I ask a question? For some reason I don’t have that little board (polyextrude) when I am going to extrude.I am using Maya for long time and I never had that problem until now. Do you know how should I bring it back?Thank you and keep going with those amazing videos 🤘
My first question as I saw this video.. Why would you use Maya for modeling, when there are so many programms out there, that are much better suited for modeling than Maya? Seriously.
To me it depends on the pipeline of the studio that you worked on. Most of the 3D softwares out there can yield same results. You just need to understand the fundementals and youre good to go.
Been at 3D modelling for over a year now and I'm pretty strong at it already, but I really still enjoy watching someone show the basics it's relaxing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
your channel is one of the best sources for modeling imo so I hope it grows
Thank you, happy to share!

It's always cool to touch up on the basics!
Do you like to use any plugins for Maya?
A few basic scripts that help with automation and workflows, but the Maya I use is pretty vanilla.
