I know this ain't really about the vid, but which one of the Lexus LS460s from 2007 to 2010 is the best to purchase nowadays? I've seen a ton of your vids and you seem to be a expert on those generations since you've had 'em all. I'm thinking of getting one for myself, but I'm kinda worried about the control arm and suspension issues around 150k miles since I know its a common problem for those. Do you know if all of 'em have this issue or if one year is worse than the others?

I needed to replace my 2002 V6 Camry with 205,000 miles. I spent 6 months looking at Lexus ES350, test drove several of them, was waiting for the perfect used Lexus - then I saw the LS 460. I forgot all about the ES and GS I was looking at, spent a month looking for the perfect new-to-me car, and bought an 2017 LS460 for $36,500. It had 69,000 miles and is painted a beautiful Metallic Pearl White. Seems like i had been waiting my whole life for this car, it's the best.

@@craigspringer4988 The control arms, which I had the seller replace before I bought it, and the 4 air struts, which I replaced with the Strutmaster kit are likely to go bad. Heavy cars are rough on suspension.
The alternator went out at 145k miles, which cost $400. Big deal. The transmission cooler line started leaking where it ran into the radiator. That cost $1100 for a new radiator and related items. Didn't like how a plastic nipple on the radiator caused the need for a whole new one, but so it goes.
No other issues besides the usual wear items. I bought mine with 97k miles and it now has 155k.
But I don't have a 2013 yet, and if my 2007 keeps running fine, I won't replace it ... ever. It's the best car I've ever owned.

I just bought a 2017 LS Select Midnight Edition F Sport, caviar paint, 17,360 miles, $42K plus bought a 5yr 100k mile comprehensive warranty for $2400 more. Love everything about it but my “edition” wasn't mentioned in this video. I’ve Googled the car but found only a few articles and one video on it. Maybe someone here can direct me to a better resource (I’m already on Club Lexus)? Love the car and have only just begun exploring the many features the LS has. Drives like nothing ive ever experienced yet has the braking and handling approaching sport sedan levels which makes it safer in everyday driving. I love how the air suspension (covered by the warranty) responds to the different “mode” changes. In just three weeks I’ve put almost 2600 miles on it and I’m far more refreshed after each trip than in any other car I’ve driven. I was hoping this video explored more of the operation of the LS’s different features. I found it odd that the narration didn't match up with the images/content being displayed. Still, a great video. Thanks!

I always agree with your comments, though I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of ultra-sporty Sparco-clone seats in everyday cars.
I rent every new car available since I live near an exclusive airport. I love them all in different ways, but when I get back into my basic 2015 Prius I’m like ahhhh, I love these seats!
For an everyday car I don’t need crazy bolsters like the 23’ IS350, Porsche Cayenne or any new BMW. I don’t appreciate having to pinch my knees together while cruising HWY 1 or just commuting for extended periods of time.
I’m only 5-9 165 lbs but I still feel cramped in any F-Sport seat, my thighs end up sitting atop the the bolsters it’s so ridiculous.
An S2000 and I’d appreciate it, but for an everyday driver? No thank you. Let’s bring back a base package with more leisurely and less restrictive seats please.

My lower back/glutes tend to hurt after an hour so soft bottom cushions and lumber is paramount for me. But I will mention these thoughts moving forward regarding seat comfort. I had a 2015 LS460 and it was nothing like my 2004 LS430. The 2015 never drove as smooth as my 2004. I kept complaining about it to the dealership and they told me that Lexus had made the suspension more sporty and that was reason I felt it felt jittery is the only way I can explain it. The death of that car for me was when I drove my Mom's 2007 E320 bluetec to work one day and it out drove and out road my 2015 LS. I was done with it. I don't know why Lexus had to screw up the ride of the 2004. Unfortunate for sure

It's almost certainly just your LS 460. There have been so many inconsistencies with post 2013 Lexus products and the way they drive. Literally nobody talks about this, you can get into one Lexus that drives amazing and then into another that feels like dirt. Actually even with new Lexus products, I drove 3 new LS 500s and 2 felt like being in a wind tunnel, the third one was absolutely silent. It makes no sense and nobody can explain it.
