This made my cry 😢it’s nice to see that people still show tlc to older cars 😊
Nice work guys.
Yes, I have the same car in Black. I absolutely treat it like a baby, they are worthy!
why are you crying ,or you just needed a reason to cry ?
If they gave out detailer of the year award, these guys would win easily.
You’d be surprised so many detailers can do this level of work nowadays. Some go further than this.
They are not cheap though
The LS460L is their all-time most beautiful model. The Lexus peak for design aesthetic. You brought this one back to life for sure. What a great job.
Agreed.
Future classic
Looks great but new LS models have superb design too. Timeless cars.
Ah, you gotta be tripping. The LS430 UCF31 is HANDS DOWN THE BEST CAR EVER MADE
Ummmm….I don’t think I said anything at all about which car I think is the all-time best. I was commenting on styling. And the 430 is a Japanese attempt to do a faux Mercedes, LMFAO. The 460 was true Japanese Luxury design, original and fresh. Drive your copy and be happy. The 430 is a mechanically strong car. Not the “best car ever” but very good. And there’s nothing wrong with a fake Rolex if it keeps time. Enjoy.
An old Lexus is better than any other new car
But no CarPlay and other more modern amenities.
@@anthonyboey3210 the simpler the better
LS400 first generation is my dream car...
Yes, if you are poor. The rich don't care about the mechanical part...you should try to see what it's like to be rich and not care 😂
@@mrmrmrcaf7801 calm damn Karen
They done took detailing to another level 😂😂😂 basically rebuilt a car from the factory all over again
the "taking brake pads out, cleaning then putting it back" part is killing me... I'd get new pads as soon as the old ones are out no matter how good the old ones are.
Totally agreed.
Not really
Just stunningly beautiful. I wish they had companies in America that specialize in restoration at this kind of detail. Bravo!!!
I'm sure there are plenty if the price is right.
So 0. 😅@@a9udn9u-vanced
Man, these guys are good! They polished it so hard, it turned from a LS600H to a LS460L! I think they polished 2 spokes off each wheel though, maybe use a lighter compound next time.
Thought I was the only one that saw that
I was trying to figure out what they were doing with that.
These are men who take deep pride in there work/craft
That’s apart of there culture
@@4everyoung869whose culture? Japanese or Chinese? Both are featured in the video
@@TsLeng Japanese culture
@@4everyoung869 the shop is in China, the car is Chinese registered, the mechanics are Chinese.
@@TsLeng well that’s apart the culture
I love watching these type of videos! The older Lexus are better built than the newer generation.
This car was DECADES AHEAD of its times....When I first saw them change a couple of the suspension parts, I said, that's not gonna make it worth $10k, but half way into the video, I QUICKLY CHANGED MY MIND, it's worth $15k-$20k now....I would by this in a heartbeat NOW....
How much to do my car this way? And where are you located?
Yup. How much money does it cost to buy all these new parts and cost of labor to basically rebuilt your car?
@@ONI1013. The LS platform has so many control arms for the front suspension alone, that the OEM replacements will cost about $1000. This was maybe 3 years ago when I had mine, but you can get an aftermarket Mevotec kit for $800 total. The labor would be around 4 hours for basic suspension, 5 hours of labor for Air suspension models. It has a very complex front end suspension. It was night and day difference to my IS. I owned both. The air filters weren't bad, and you can get Toyota models. Maybe $60 for two airbox filters and the cabin filters. 9 quarts of oil, not sure about the transmission fluid, b/c it's too complex to do at home. I'd recommend a shop for that b/c it's not so simple like other vehicles. They have the Brembo brakes b/c it's an L version, I guess. I had the base model, still big brakes, just not Brembo, and the pads and rotors were $380 for the front, from the Lexus dealer (not bad at all, consider how huge the brakes are). As far as what they charge to do all this, there's no telling. It said 2 months, but who knows how many hours per day they spent. I'd guess the labor and detailing would be $5K for a customer, plus parts. Beyond that you'd have to ask if it's the last car you'll ever buy, because it would be hard to justify to do all that, just to eventually sell to someone else.
@@LordPrometheous There no way everything seen there was $5k. A complete set of front Ceramic Brembo brakes pads, rotors, calipers for an LS460 will be close to $3-5k alone for front kits 32mm disc 1M1.9018A2.
@@ONI1013. I said $5K for the labor and detailing, PLUS parts, and there didn't appear to be any need to replace the rotors.
Japanese cars, specially the high-end models, hold market value very well in China throughout the years, which is why people spend substantially on restoring due to the return they can get, this was beautifully done on an elegant model.
Do car owners in the Mainland maintain their cars properly? In North America, a lot of car owners do their own maintenance and minor repairs.
14:20. LS600HL. THEN, 14:56 says LS460L. Two separate cars. Both beautiful cars.
This has got to be the best detailed job I’ve ever seen…Outstanding 💯
It's when the toothbrushes come out, you know the detailing gets dead serious.
OMG this was amazing! You guys are not mechanics, you are professional artisans and craftsmen. I'd let you work on the Mona Lisa if it needed detailed attention! The car looks better now than it probably did when it left the factory! Wow!
The fact that he cleaned around the fuel pump before removing it I approve he is an excellent technician
This is how you detail a vehicle no questions asked an amazing job gentlemen😮👍
How is this so strange? First its two different cars. 460L is a normal 4.6 v8 long body version. But under the hood is a hybrid synergy drive and two fat orange high voltage wires. That came only on LS 600h. Plus the wheels in the end are also different from the ones they put on. A easy tell is also the blue hue on the headlights. Something strange going on here😮
I said the same. Even though both are super clean, they tried to pull a fast one on us!
Only in China 😂
And that oil was changed twice 😮
@@daved3948 The two oil changes are legitimate....if you watch carefully they drained the oil first, then put in a cleansing/flushing oil, then drained that (2nd drain) and then finally refilled it.
are you sure they make the 460 a hybrid for the Chinese market? It is not unusual for Chinese market vehicles to have different engines etc from other markets.
I see your point at around 14:20 the badge says 600
The LS460 has legendary performance. Unbelievable transformation.
I own a LS460, 2008 and my car is clean with low mileage. But, what you guys did was amazing. I wish you the repairs you did I have done on my car because that cost a lot to have done. Great job
Now that’s how to restore a car to all its original beauty!❤
Who are those guys wish I can send my 2003 Lexus to them.Great job
Outstanding workmanship, beautiful car!
I'm curious to know what kind of internal engine damage there might be. Most people who let that many maintenance issues slide on their cars, don't take care of just the engine. I wouldn't be surprised if the rings were on their last leg or the cylinders were completely matted in carbon buildup. Maybe some severely worn clutches in the transmission and some cooked seals.
I would like to add, though, that it's not lost on me, the incredible workmanship and care that you've put into that car. It's admirable, and it looks incredible. Very nice work, guys. This is hands down the most incredibly thorough and beautiful detail job I've ever seen, and I've watched tons of these videos. That car looked like it just rolled off the production line.
Lexus ist halt die marke nummer 1 weltweit!
Former owner of an LS460, when i saw the changes done on the Suspension,it reminded me of the problem(common apparently) on the Arm and Tierod Ends, them shits were so expensive to replace it broke me...i still miss my LS til today and i would buy it again if I were to have the money to.
By far THE BEST car i've ever driven...if I could fly to JAPAN and buy a second hand LS 600h and have it resored by these gents here...i LOVE and ADORE that as well.
Great work by you guys🙌🏿👌🏿
Amazing job! I have the 460L with executive package as well. I've only owned LSs and by far the best one.
Hi gentleman, glad to have seen you on TH-cam, but it would have been a pleasure to have meet you guys on person. I see that you take much pleasure and pride in your work. I enjoyed it quite well. Thank you for your attention to details. I appreciate your time. Have a great & successful career. Yours truly "cp".
YOU GUYS ARE PERFECTION, EXCELLENT WORK 😊🎉👍
A timeless elegance, you brought its beauty out. What a great job fellas
Insane.... So much work... Hope it was worth the time and money u invest.... It's crazy how many parts a car like this has. 👍👍👍
The attention to detail and quality is just impeccable
As an LS 430 and LS 460 owner, I must congratulate you guys, your teams professionalism, dedication and passion are on the new level, good job on the LS600hl, wish you all the best
Superb job.
Absolutely fantastic. The highest quality craftsmanship. Bravo👏👏👏
@ 14:21 you can clearly see it’s not the same car, it’s a LS 600H L
It appears someone put that badge on purposely, in the interior it missing the EV Mode button and the gauge cluster has the analog coolant temp. So it is actually a 460
@@pennolmintwind5056 There's at least two different cars in this video.
@@pennolmintwind5056two different cars. Two engine boys, also one had air suspension the other didn't
You fellows are an automotive dream team. Your attention to detail and obvious interest in repairing and cleaning "clean as you go", to make this the best car it can be, is very impressive, and something a whole lot of mechanics and techs no longer have, if they ever did!
It's obvious from all y'alls pride in the job you are doing, you too recognize the LS as the very special car it is, and worthy of special care to make it the best car!
Every person with suspension knowledge is shaking their heads like oh hell no
For the amount of effort they put into this, it's kinda weird they get some of the basics wrong.
The level care you have taken is unbelieve.
Loved the video! Was super satisfying but one thing that stuck out to me was them torquing the bushings down before having the weight of the vehicle on them
I give you guys a strong B. Now redo the suspension parts as you torqued everything without the weight of the vehicle on the suspension.
Вы правы!!!
I thought the same thing 🤪
I don't believe, they can match original suspension with the aftermarket. I tried, but it didn't work like the old ones.
And use one car in a video and not 2 different ones.
Most people have no idea how fantastic a car a Lexus LS is. It's a true gem. I've had two. Made a Mercedes S owner sell his S and buy one and pocketed $50k in change. He was thrilled.
Lexus LS400 the very first Lexus is the MOST BEAUTIFUL LEXUS ever built.
.
Amazing rejuvenation work....good approach of getting the suspension and mechanicals sorted
This is the true definition of detailing.
Wow . Was für eine Arbeit. Ein Traumhaft schönes Auto . Mega ❤️❤️❤️
Yay! Doing all the routine maintenance all at once! All that should have been done throughout the car's life. It boogles my mind how people pay so much, expect to just drive a car, and never maintain it. Those types of people were the lifeblood of my autoshop before I retired. LOL
When I can afford it. I’m shipping my 08 GS460 to these guys. This is beyond amazing work!! Great job guys!
The Best Car deserves that. You guys did a Great Job. Respect!
excellent work 👍
Second comment. This is the most comprehensive restoration I've ever seen. !!!!!!!! And best
Incredible work. Bravo!!
WOW! Amazing work!
Impressive job!
Now do a 2005 ML350. Another legend!
These guys are going to be booked for the next 5 years, putting in work like that!
Although 2000-2003 will always be my absolute favorite years for the LS. This one is the last generation of LS that I was a fan of.
新車には程遠いけどこういう動画は大好き❤
This is considered old school now? Wow time is flying.
Y’all do some seriously amazing work! New sub!
The best part was they got OEM replacement parts. otherwise, transformation would not be so great. Great work done by team. Totally impressed by their dedication and workmanship!
excellent work
Nice jobs guys. Chapeaux !!!
That is jawdropping, detailing at the highest level inside and out. I am very impressed with how you waxed the whole and made it look like glass!!! Excellent job, your work is gold standard!!!❤
I wish I could bring mine to you guys!!!! Craftsmanship at its finest!!!
One of the best jobs I have seen done on a lexus I would love to let you guys work on my lexus and do what you did to the ls great job you guys did
Seen at lot of detail job but you guys are on another level.. bravo 👍
The attention to detail and perfection is amazing. This level of detail would cost more then the car it self , unless you own the shop.
You got yourself a new subscriber!😀 I can watch these types of videos all day!
Beautifully done. Just one suggestion: tighten the bolts of control arms when the wheels are at their operating height/position.
Beautiful car! The LS 460 is my dream car. Amazing repair and detail work on this car! In researching the LS 460 online, I have seen where just replacing the front and rear suspension could cost around 10k. I would love to know how much the total cost was to bring this car back to life from start to finish including parts and labor? Take care. 😀👍🏼
friend of mine got 1, he just said about the same fir his suspension. Also something about the Brake system with these cars go bad. only dealership can fix around $5k. i can’t remember exact years
True passion for restoration. Excellent work boys!
This would be a worthwhile project if you could find a good honest mechanic that would actually do all of this work without cutting corners,i.e., not using factory parts, not actually replacing the parts, and or doing a half-ass job. In this case, these mechanics did an exceptional job. 6:56 The owner of this beautiful restored Lexus will have at least 10 more years driving a reliable great looking classic vehicle.
Amazing! I owned a 2005 LS 400 best auto ever
Heb een gs-h 450 f-sport met twee ton en 10 jaar in gebruik - van binnen en buiten nog klasse ! Superkwaliteit 👍
Top notch detail and service 😅
Satisfying to watch. Excellent work
素晴らしい仕事をするね😊
Very well done. Superb!
I've never has such a big car that felt so small to drive, miss mine sometimes, gearbox was suprisingly good and it was well able to move for a big girl
Very much what I'd like to do to my 2013 Camaro!
I wish you’re here in dubai so you can make my 430 exactly what you did here. I couldnt find someone who can do such work with so much love you put into thisb incredibly amazing work man
More. I need more!!!
Best car in the world…you would never see an Audi bmw or merc, jag or any other car last this long…best car reliability out there.
That’s WORTH every penny! $2500 well invested. When can I drop mine off..? lol
Ah yes the great great grand child of the LS400 😎 LS are the most legend line of Lexus in my opinion …Beautiful work.
This detailing is wicked. Superb job!
Did they restore TWO? 460hL and 600L?
This is a beast of a car.
Dit kan met een Lexus ! Materialen motorisch en lak zijn superieur ! Pure kwaliteit !!
Love love love this spectacular detail😁😁☺️
FOLKS, they did a switcheroo!
I could not Afford the Gas to drive this Car.. very Nice Car ofcourse.. i kinda like to drive what I can afford to put Gas in.😀
That is outstanding! Wished there was more specialty workshops like this in the US.
This guy set a new benchmark for attention to detail!
A veritable Ship of Theseus. 😆 Beautiful nonetheless.
Boys, that was the most satisfying video of renovation of car that I ever saw.The make is not so important, but the details, ooo my.I hope one day and i to may afford something like that.God bless you all!!😊
Wow wow, what a clean up job. Great work, guys!
素晴らしい仕事、このクルマが新車で走っていた頃羨望の眼差しで見ていました。現行のモデルより上品で優雅ですね。
Amazing car and even greater job guys 👏
