My good friend Nari just spent 8 days at CPOC orphanage after watching this episode! We were travelling together in Cambodia. I had to head off to Vietnam but she decided to stay and do volunteer work. Turns out it was your show that inspired it!
I filmed her talking about the experience, so in a couple of days I'm going to have a video of it. Of course your channel will get a shout out, and I'll be sharing to try and keep the good vibes going for CPOC and Budgeteers!

Good to see you both volunteering. I did it for 10 months and loved it.I keep on going back to my NGO ( New Hope for Cambodian Children) as much as possible. Helping the kids in need is what makes me happy.

+skatexius We are always on the look out for a crazy cat to join the budgeteers, we are both working and saving right now and looking to do a second series if we get enough subs! that we will know people like it and want to see more. as far as where and when we are thinking sooner rather than later and where we still dont know!! suggestions?
I'm also working and saving as well, also trying to figure out a way to work on the road, (being a graphic designer helps) but then again, it might not be the best option. I do plan to do an Asian route, similar to what you did, but I'd also go for Southern America. Maybe Europe would be a good fit for you? Starting with the Balkans (most amazing people, free spirit and great food) or going up to Scandinavia?

I've watched the whole series (except for ep6+8 which are blocked due to copyright thing?) . its really nice to watch. I'm envy lol. I've been to Malaysia last month and it was really nice except the fact that I didn;t have more than 5 days. Keep on guys, hope to be a part of what you do at some point.

+Thaer Abu T i know what you mean, but to be honest were not doctors and dont really know how not to get sick, bug spray and eat well is all i have to offer! Thijs got unlucky with Dengue after the trip, and the only times we got sick on the trip was from shitty food but in Asia you cant really always tell the great food from the bad.....its a lottery sometimes!

+Viggs Verikas we dont have a blog yet but we may write something soon, the only thing i would say is watch the series, we travel S.E Asia in a totally different way to the norm (Koh Tao , Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, buses, trains, taxi, ferries etc) we just followed the road and the people we met. but in general, my biggest advice is just go, land, eat the shit of everything, talk to the locals, couchsurf at AJ's (episode 2) and just soak it all in, all the best.
