    If you load a category of LUT through the Adjustment tab, you can scroll through without loading individual files.

      That's cool, I did not know that! I think I'll make a video on LUTs soon, so I'll be sure to include this.

      @@TechnicallyTrent In the Adjustment tab for LUTs, there's a cog icon which you use to create categories into which you would put certain types of LUTs. You can import individual LUTs (in *.cube format) or LUT Categories which are *.afluts.

    Hi Trent, I was behind a little bit so I missed the ending. Thanks for covering the gradient maps subject again, it clarified some more.
    I’m finding Canva somewhat confusing - would you consider doing a beginner’s tutorial, going through every tool as you had done for Affinity Designer some time ago? And perhaps link to how it’s complimentary to Affinity.
    As an example, can we “Image Trace” to vectorize a raster image in Canva?

      Hi Julie!
      Yes, I plan to do a Beginner video for Canva at some point. With the Affinity programs, I found it worked well to do a lot of smaller tutorials before tackling the big beginner video. It helped me organize my thoughts more, and also the comments on the shorter videos influenced a lot of the content in the Beginner video. So I'll probably do the same thing with Canva: I'll do smaller videos for another month or so and then wrap it all up in a big beginner video.

    Could you explain infer lut?

    • @TechnicallyTrent
      @TechnicallyTrent  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @drwatsonismine!
      The idea behind "Infer LUT" is that it will automatically create a LUT based on the changes you made to an image, and then you can apply it to another image.
      When you choose to Infer LUT, you are asked to load 2 images: Image A without adjustments, and Image A with your adjustments. It then tries to create a LUT based on the difference. Than you can apply that LUT to other images.
      I plan to make a video on LUTs soon and I will cover this concept...stay tuned!

      I do because of After Effects. But I don't use it that much anymore so I may be cancelling soon.
