Oh man I just realized the bars at 1:10 and 1:17 should have repeated the last note twice to do an UN UN UN-like sound effect, like if it was the Regi itself singing it but damn, nice to see what you planned with the Regi trilogy of remixes
I could tell you the absurd history of this song, but I’ll spare the details. It’s kind of ridiculous that nobody at GAME FREAK (3 people, 4 attempts at this point) has been able to do even a simple arrangement of this without there being some ridiculous glaring issue - painfully amateur mixes in multiple games, boring sound design, et cetera. Great to see someone pick up the slack!
@@nich117tcr AGREED! If you won’t go into it I will haha- Platinum sounds only marginally better than a MIDI slap (I suspect it was made quickly,) ORAS is of course boring and bare minimum, and SwSh is… bizarre? The drums are shockingly bad with no energy. I think B2W2 is very solid, hence why it was the basis for these remixes. The extra flair in the intro is very cool to me though it’s pretty simple otherwise. I’m curious your issue with that particular version. Anyway happy to have done this track justice! Wanting really creative versions of this is part if why I made these
@@IsabelleChiming Unfortunately, as much as I love Hitomi Satō’s work, especially her small chord subs whenever arranging Masuda’s older battle themes… her arrangement for SwSh delivers on the ending loop but not much in the way for sound design. ORAS is a Kageyama arrangement, and while he’s better at Satō at mixing… eh he’s usually by the book… and somehow in said book he just goes for 0 bass presence. BW2 being the most “solid” past the original is kind of funny. I agree, it just that it has really strange mixing and especially panning… an Ichinose arrangement standard btw, but not like he gives a damn anyways… and some how opted for no hats when BW2 has 14 voices to play with I tell no lies when I say I am shocked that Masuda’s own R/S arrangement is my favorite because his stuff is so _painfully_ cookie cutter that somehow it ended up just not being fundamentally fucked up beyond being boring in the first place. I have to assume at the end of the day that this track really must not be favored out at GF, or maybe it’s just slapped together and packaged quickly because “eh no one will care about these mons and whichever composer would rather spend time on x or y song during development”. I have no idea but it seems to be the case. Anywho, RANT OVER. Enjoy the views. You did a great job.😎
I honestly hope we get one for Drago, Eleki, and maybe even Gigas too! (I moreso hope for Drago and Eleki, but even just these 3 are great)

There are some Regi remixes that you can bop to, then there's those ones every now and then that really make you ÜN ÜN ÜN
Basically this is great 🔥
@@yesilovenachos Hi nachos
Damn, all of these Regi themes ROCKED! In all seriousness, love ‘em, gives me the same vibe as the Legendary Dogs in HG/SS and their varied themes.
this regiROCKS!!!
Awesome!
Omg, giving Regirock a rock variation of the theme was so clever 🤣 It sounds amazing, too, as do the others!
i'd love to see regirock jamming on a guitar with those nubs
awesome stuff!!
What soundfont player do you use if you don’t mind me asking? This sounds really good
Fruity Soundfont Player in the current version of FL Studio!
