I bought a 440. So far, I think its the best detector I've ever had. Goes deep, has automatic ground balance that changes as ground conditions change, has multi-frequency, light weight, and has a high-pitched sound for coins, as well as great separation, and four different modes to hunt in including a custom mode you can decide for yourself. I may have to sell all my other detectors.

I use the Vanquish 440 and think it is a great machine . I found my first Sixpence 1953 a few weeks back a real good tone and a vid 8 at the beach .. A nice video,
Hey from Treasure Coast Florida :)- Paul, I have many questions about this video. First, I must say that The Vanquish truly is a great MD for the price. I use it often & it’s what lead me to your vid and channel. Anyhoo,what type of coins were you finding? They appeared to be 2 tones and the depth was super shallow and I’m most concerned that the image in the background is a motionless ocean
the coins were either shaped (not round) or have 2 types of metal in them, and its a tidal river so the tide was out nearly 1 mile of wet sand that is why you cannot see the water
I just returned a pancky to buy the 340. It’s only $50 more. But the 440 is $150 more. Is it worth it? Wondering if I made a mistake returning the pancky. It has lots more options and accessories then this 340
im not familiar with the Pancky, but the Vanquish models use the same technology as its big brother the Minelab Equinox. i hope this helps in your choice
Yes as that mode on the 340 has the discrimination to 0 where smaller good finds fall, but if you find you are digging lots of foil to start with you may be best going into coin mode

The two tone coins in the videos were new £1 and £2 sterling 😊
