Good Channel, useful info. I can’t get out at the mo so allows me to at least follow you detecting. I’ll be back out at Christmas hopefully. Keep em coming.
just looking at that ring and I'm sure that stone is real... the clue is on the inside of the ring.. there is always a hole for the setting of the stone /stones by the jeweller, plus easy cleaning or repairing . look it up for more info :) ATB
Hi Rob,I'm not to sure on the war history on skegness,I have been told in ww2 the soldiers did alot of practice shooting on ther,so gussing alot of the bullet casesings could be from that
That ring is stunning, superb find, worth watching through the hundreds of scoops full of sand !! 6 years into the hobby and still never found a gold ring !! 🍻
@@Lee-fs1nw I'm 8 year into the hobby now and still no gold ring 🤣🤣🤣 Found 6 gold coins including gold hammered and early milled gold but no flippin ring !!
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire i must be so lucky then. I was digging everything to learn the detector, its a noktra makro simplex, first find was an old axe head and a metal tea pot. Then i found half pennies and one pennies dating to the late 1800s and early 1900s, along with modern coins, then i found a silver pendant and a silver sixpence ,then i found this gold diamond ruby ring, the ruby is pigeon blood red, its really stunning, i was blown away
@@Lee-fs1nw sounds like you are immediately hooked on this wonderful hobby 🤣 Have a look at my TH-cam channel, I have been recording my finds for almost 3 years now
Really enjoyable vid thanks . Been wanting to detect on the beach for a while now but a good run for me ( Nottm ) . Do you have to get permission from the local council for that area ?
Hi.No you dont need permission to detect most beaches. but biggest problem is ther sanded in most the time but can pruduce good stuff when the conditions are right hooe that helps
It means to much sand has washed or been blown in and covers the beach in that much sand that targets become out of range.always look for low spots.sand moves all the time.beachs can be good through winter months when we get good storms
Hi Patkavlog you dont need permission on skegness and can metal detect most beachs on coast without permission hope that helps good luck and happy new year👍
Brilliant mate - loved it. I have a Nokta Simplex Ultra that is a beach virgin, hoping to get out there really soon.
