Liked and subbed wow who would off thought how interesting metal detection is I need one now going to binge watch your past videos very good many thanks
Great haul matey! I had a ring identical to the one on your Tuesday loved it lost it on the beach but up in Cumbria!😢 shame the Rolex is a fake that would have been some score👌🏻
I use a Minelab Equinox 600, if you check on Facebook there might be a local metal detecting group/page where someone local to you would be willing to come along with their detector and help you to find the ring.
@@lincsbeachdetecting463 Thanks for the info mate but as it's just to use now and then i can't spend that type of money what's a good budget one to start with
@@daz196749 I'd still have to say the Vanquish, you should be able to pick up a 2nd hand 440 or even a 540 for less than £300. I know that's not 'cheap' but if you buy a cheaper starter machine you will just be wasting your money. The X-Terra pro is another good Minelab detector and they're only £300 brand new. Both of my detectors have paid for themselves several times over in less than a year.
@@lincsbeachdetecting463 hi, thanks for letting me know,I will have to have ago. Those sand sieves are very expensive, do you know any place cheaper . regards Debbie
@@debbiecolyer7564 There are no cheap versions worth having, I use mine every day so it needs to be well made and resilient and unfortunately that costs money. You can get hand held scoops for less than £20 though but they're useless on wet sand.
@@lincsbeachdetecting463 do you want me to have a go - I live in huttoft, can’t promise anything, but I like a challenge. Also just started metal detecting, maybe I try and fix your watch, you try and teach me metal detecting
Have detected at Skegness a few times finding a ring and a Queen Anne coin as my favourite finds.
Hi Stephen, Skegness can be good but it gets done by a lot of people, you've done well finding anything worthwhile.....I'll be back there again soon 🙂
Liked and subbed wow who would off thought how interesting metal detection is I need one now going to binge watch your past videos very good many thanks
Hi Craig, don't rush to buy a detector unless you a) live near a beach or b) can get permission to detect on some land.
@lincsbeachdetecting463 I live 5 mins walk from beach to be honest I've never seen anyone there detecting either
@@craigrennie5458 Perfect, look on ebay or FBook marketplace.
@lincsbeachdetecting463 forgot about fbook nice 👍
I accidentally came across your channel I enjoyed Great hunting
Thanks Mandy 🙂
did you pick the empty bottle up by chance ?
I certainly did, I pick up dozens of bottles and cans every time I'm on the beach 🙂
New sub here from Waterloo Ontario Canada. Happy hunting!
Hi Terry, welcome to the gang 🙂

Maybe someone found it in Cumbria then lost it at Butlins Skeggy?.....you never know 🤔
@@lincsbeachdetecting463 maybe! Would be crazy to think it got lost twice😂🤯
Don’t forget to pick up that bottle 😢😢😢😢😢😢
I did Lyn, I take 3 pouches and pick up as much rubbish as I can carry.....including broken glass and bottles.....I had 6 glass bottles in there once.
Great one Pal need to get back into metal detecting. What machine are you using??
Thanks John, I mainly use a Minelab Equinox 600 but occasionally I use a Vanquish 540....both excellent machines.
I'm a Lincs yellowbelly, I'd love to take my detector on the beach, not been out with it for ages!
Get it done Neil....get it done! 🙂
Hi..what kit do you use,we trying to find my wifes wedding ring lost on our allotment !!

@@lincsbeachdetecting463 Hi many thanks for your swift reply..is the equinox easy to use?
@@chaddamp2894 I think so, there are hundreds of You Tube videos to help but it's easy enough with a bit of practice.
Have you still got the fake watch, not working? Just starting on my new hobby of watch repairing and need some practice pieces?
Great hauls with the exception of the 39p search. Thanks again and well done. Do you ever wear gloves?
Thanks Tony, I do wear gloves in the cold weather but it's been way too hot for them this week.
I know what you mean but watch out for glass etc.
@@tonysnaith3740 I'm an accident waiting to happen 🙃
Great finds what kit you using would love to get in to this too
Hi Darren, I use 2 Minelab machines.....the Equinox 600 and the Vanquish 540....both excellent detectors.

If it says Rolux it's fake 😂 but seriously,a Daytona is like 20K minimum so doubt it's real, unless you had found it on a Dubai beach 😂 20:29
We get loads of careless millionaires in Mabo Jimmy, honestly we do! 😉
just curious on Wednesday that knife ,that looks like a shaven tool from the 18th century
It's a modern knife made by a company called Svord, I think the model is 'mini peasant knife'
U could slice Parma ham with those finger nails!!!
If it wasn't for my food intolerances I probably would 🙂
Hiya, do you need a licence to detect on beachs.
Hi Debbie, no you don't need a licence to detect on 99% of UK beaches with Cleethorpes being the only place I know of where you do.
