I have commented on your channel before. You are legit. Your digs and finds are a fair representation to my time on the beach. I bought a 540 based on your videos so I can have a wet sand detector. The fun is real. My first wet sand find was a cross ring July 5th. Happy hunting.
My son and I started our metal detecting hobby with the Vanquish 340 and 540 and the only issue I had is that they are not waterproof. We are basically beach hunters but have been through a few parks and farm areas with pretty good success. I purchased a Xterra Pro a few months back for our beach surf hunts and we are very happy with its performance so far. My son uses the 540 now and its keeps it away from getting splashed, the xterra is fine getting splashed and even submerged. Our 340 is now for family who may want to join us on the beach or for the little cousins checking the yard
I like your realism and factual convos. It helps newbies know that you are not necessarily going to knock it out of the park every day and there are good and slow days. Keep up the good work.
so so true! these video's make me wanna go out and hunt... no matter what I find! 20 bottle caps, can slaw and 10 euro cents... someone asked me if I was vacuming the park😂 pretty good description👍😄
Nice hunt Austin, not a lot of finds but thanks for taking us along. Nice to see you swinging the Vanquish . I got me a silver name bracelet this past week and a 1865 IHP 3 inches deep 🤔
Hi man. me new to detecting with the vanquish 540. I'm just wondering what guys do with there gold and silver jewellery finds. Do you melt them down and sell of the yeild? Do you sell of the jewels? Thanks
Did my first beach detecting yesterday with a 540, 12inch coil, kept getting deep signals pucking up iron ore, only 1 ring pull but also one ring. Just over 5grams, silverlooking with dragon scales and what looks like yellow metal in-between the scales with a large zirc on front, but no hallmark so will get it tested. But overall i think i need to practice more with signals. Do you recommend i use the 8 inch coil at the beach rather than 12? Also the ring is not magnetic so I suppose it's a good sign 😅
I honestly think they are both good detectors, comes down to your needs & what you prefer👍 Look into them both a little more and see which one you like more:)
Awesome video for sure man this is going to help me a lot with some of the issues I have been having with the 540 maybe next video could b about setting discrimination of undesirable items in trashy areas like nails and maybe even pull tabs or other iron items thank again for this video for real!!!
If you go through his older episodes you'll see lot's of vanquish discriminating and settings videos. They're probably what yr looking for, super helpful . 👍👍
I say dig most signals at first to get used to what's under the ground then you can kind of mentally discriminate if that makes sense? You'll go over a signal that you know almost for sure what it is and you can decide if you want to dig it or not.. only problem is pull tabs come in many shapes & sizes... but so does gold! 🤠👍
This machine is so easy, just use your eyes and ears to discriminate. If its below -1 dont dig, -1 to 9 could be gold so dont discount those low numbers. Alot will be small bits of foil, but you have to dig alot of that 💩 to get the gold!
hi i thought you said the vanquish model can't get wet? I really want to buy a multifrequency detector and I was thinking about the vanquish 440, but I wouldn't be able to go inside the water with it, would I?
The control box can NOT get wet but you can put the coil underwater 👍 Just a little risky because you don't want to drop the whole thing in the water of course!

Dude. Keep on with the vanquish. It's cool to see someone using one same as mine. Great content and channel. 👍🇬🇧
We'll bring him out again soon! 👍Thank ya:)
Nice hunt, always great to see the Vanquish get out on the beach. Thanks!
Nice to see the Vanquish back in Action, Go the Vanquish..lol.. 🤠
Vanquish always gets the job done, never have to press any buttons she's turn on and GO! Always works good for me. 🤠

Great little combo!👍
Nokta first swing is completely waterproof and has a built in pinpoint. 100 dollars. Only downfall for some is that it does not accept headphones.

I notice your arch's are about 3 feet between swings. Your missing a ton of ground
Hi I love your videos seen almost all of them I’ve been waiting to see a new one and here it is
Thank you :) I got another one coming for you soon!
Enjoy your Vanquish videos. Looks like that beach has been recently hunted by others!
I think so, they left me all the bottle caps! 😂
Metal Detecting is kind of like fishing you never know what you will catch lol. AKA Dirt fishing.
Excelente equipo, saludos cordiales desde chile 🙋♂️⛏️🇨🇱💍🗝️👍👏🙏
You ever think of running the V12 coil on the 440 instead of the V10
Is there that much difference between the v 12. & the v. 10. On the beach ?
@@WILE-E-DETECTING 2” just like she likes 😆, but in all seriousness it allows for deeper penetration (😆 again) of the soils
I always like a little bit bigger coil when I'm not getting many signals but don't have any other Vanquish coils right now ;(
@@TreasureOutdoors eBay has them rn for under a hundred bucks
I like the 10 better. The 12 is harder to pin point.
Good hunt your better than me it’s 90 degrees most days and I can’t take the heat! I’m in SC.
I found two pairs of Oakleys in a half hour at the beach they both looked like new
Nice! I recently just crunched a nice pair of ray-ban p 😢
For a beginner would you recommend the Xterra Pro or the vanquish 440? Thanks!

Bro.. I wouldnt worry to much about the descrimation adjustments... some low readings can be something amazing..lol..just dig it all up..Haaa.. 🤠

I want to see you bring out the Is extra pro
.75 cents is better than a pull Tab ...
Was wonder where your stream were
Been wanting to do one but connection has been pretty bad, gotta figure that out!
Always trash, I need to break out my vanquish just for fun
