The Verina situation will just be like Bennett situation. A healer, support buffer that can fit at any team. Even if they werent optimal for certain contents or synergy, they will still be the easiest pick for convenience. Especially now that Verina is free from guaranteed 5star selector compensation mail, no doubt about it she cant be too powercrept even in the future.
Unless they're going to put enemies with debuff mechanics which i think Verina right now can't cleanse. Then she'll be easily powercrept. Right now we have Burn and 'Toxic' (unable to use Resonance Liberation) - im not sure if those are the right terms

Jianxin is like Zhong Li, but she also kill stuff if u give her time No big damage, but her shields are so THICC u can ignore boss mechanics She is like the most comfortable option u can pick When I use her in multiplayer, i can just close my eyes, walk up to the enemies and expect Success
Until yoiu get oneshot by simulated boss, John Lee only needs 1- sec charge time and that is a really thick shield. The chance is that Jianxin will have a promãx version with smaller charge time và thickẻr shield. Right now she is like Noelle.
I've not fully built her yet but I think people are sleeping on her burst dps, she's not meant to be a low field time purely defensive unit. Her burst and charge both do big damage in a big AoE, and her basics and skill are good too
zhongli, nah. Mini zhongli yes. I can see alot of improvement in her kit, which we all know in few month we gonna get similar limited support character that powercrept her easily. Only pick her from the free selector if you like her unit. If you simply f2p that want to clear the content, the only option is verina, if you already have her then either encore or calchoro. You gonna need 3 team anyway.
For me, Jianxin is so underrated cause yes her 4 secs charge is long, but that's just it. that's the only bad thing. her shield is tanky af and heals quite well, all for 30 seconds long. I use her a lot cause of the initial game lag and hard to dodge attacks. She MOTHERED the team so well. If you like ZhongLi in Genshin, you'll be satisfied playing her in WuWa Edit: guys relax 😂 I'm not saying she's a must pull/have. Just that most players touch more on her cc and sub dps capabilities but dont talk much about her shield/healing kit, which is her own Forte. She's just as amazing as any other Resonator available ✌🏻 also, do know that even with a shield, dodging and parrying attacks do have their benefit in this game rather than 'just not taking dmg'. I mainly shield cause I couldn't bother to keep/always dodge 🤣 Have fun playing guys!
No only that but it pairs well with Danji due to her being a Hutao like character My main team literally is them two and that is all I used currently. Damage? Danji has it. Heals? Jianxin has it. Shield? Danjin has it. Auto party? First charge of Jianxin has it.

@@k45oz29 Danjin is nothing like Hu Tao. Hu Tao is reasonably tanky and easy to play, Danjin is extremely fragile and difficult to play. Hu Tao playing at half HP is irrelevant because half of Hu Tao's HP is 100% of normal chara HP.
You can actually get havoc rover's second resonance chain by handing in enough sonance caskets. The second one is unlocked at level 8. Also her ult multiplier might be the highest in the game.
i already got Rover's havoc waveband from the caskets and I am only Union level 24. lol Didn't even know it was havoc until I couldn't use it for my spectro. XD
bro i just picked havoc rover and her burst did 3k dmg like wtf, im using a 3 star weapon and all my echos are lvl 0 and my character is lvl 50, she is definitely giga sleepeed on

My team is going to be Calcharo + Yinlin + Verina If Havoc Rover is just as good as Yinlin, then that kinda changes things. I'd need Yinlin to be like 2x better to justify pulling for her lol. But even then, Waifu > Meta. All WuWa characters are playable. It's mostly skill based anyways.

Jianxin is basically Zhongli C6, with Anemo fusion on her basic attacks, Beidou's counter, Venti's succ and an AOE charged attack. Personally i think shes worth S- tier, but maybe at like the lowest.
Shes basically jack of all trades but master of nothing. This game is more evasion oriented and the shield doesnt really provide much, unless you are really struggling then the shield wouldnt be too bad. The suck is good, great for grouping, her buff is okay. The "anemo infusion" doesnt really mean anything because there is no elemental interaction in this game. Also all characters do damage according to their element type with their m1s. You'd definitely find more use in running verina. Suck can just honestly be replaced with yang yang, who can help provide more energy, or of course running Jiyan who is also great for grouping. If you dont have verina though, she's a great person to have in slot. Although that's not going to be the case since there is a free 5* ticket, which most likely most people picked her if they didnt have her already.
Taoqi deserves a better spot. She has a unique defensive play style, which imo is quite similar to Buster Blade in God Eater. Well, I love using her, especially on Depths of Illusive Realm, which turns her into a counterattack powerhouse. I hope there will be an upcoming echo set or weapon that supports her defensive style as well as for Jianxin.
It's only been a few days. I played Ling Yang, Shittiest time of my life trying to understand how he works, once mastered, I couldn't stand playing any other currently available DPS. They are just not as fun. Not dealing dmg with this guy is actual skill issue
i agree, the only time he should stay on-field is if he has ult, active forte circuit, with sanhua buffs, and maybe verina/baizhi buff. He deals crazy amounts of single target damage even better than calcharo. However, after yinlin releases i imagine calcharo will deal more damage than him but right now lingyang has the highest amount of single target dps.

Now I'm lvl 36 with 45% exploration on every region and now there's not much new left to do except grind on echo and other stuff But that's what I like about it😂
I used lingyang a lot and idk about his kit potential and stuff but I actually found his moveset pretty good. him and sanhua feel really good to play together and using his E in the air as a way to position around the boss is nice. You don’t need to dodge the boss if you are behind him.
I lost on the random 5* and got lion boy, so played him a lot. He’s fun to play and has a surprisingly high skill cap with his flexible combos and mobility, but the numbers just aren’t there to make him strong. He’s definitely fixable, and nothing in the game so far seems hard enough to make him obsolete, but I’m assuming endgame will be maximizing burst and he doesn’t bring a lot of tools for that.
but he has an absurdly high power level, people are assuming lingyang just from his game difficulty. he is very strong but his combo is complex and requires learning, that's why people are complaining, his power is paired with jinyan and encore, but his gameplay is more difficult, and also the coolest, don't regret it. @@roid.5050 yeah he’s pretty good. I’ve been using a Jiyan mortefi team and a lingyang sanhua team and they are both super fun. I’m a happy camper. I have calcharo too so if I get the new lady coming out I will be set for long term unless they make it so you have to pull new characters to clear content like HSR does.
You're wild for putting havoc rover that low lol. Does as much dmg as my Jiyan / Calcharo. Just more about setting up a huge burst window. But the numbers you can see are absolutely nutty.
She has: - Teamwide shields - Interruption resistance - Grouping and AoE CC - The largest AoE cleave in the game - Outro gives 38% multiplicative boost to next character's liberation damage - Fills gameplay niches that the other characters don't even know exist Yeah she's C tier, useless character for sure 😂 Like these tier lists are based on overworld content, the first floors of Tower, and spreadsheet calcs, nobody has even sniffed a whiff of endgame content yet we are ranking character performances already.
I was happy to get him because he's so cute but I didnt like how he played at all so i ended up rerolling. I hope to get him again in the far future though just so he's on my account
I think JianXin gets way better as a solid sustain/counter/CC character when she gets S1(C1), after casting her intro skill she gets into the field with her “CHI” all the way up, so she can Ult and shield right away. This way she will keep characters like Jiyan that likes a shield for his NA to get the best out of its damage, also healing quite well. Also, she buffs ultimate damage, she will be soon some new characters best sustain. It’s just sad that her damage is low, her scaling is stack, and her CC is not that respectful void, is just a regular CC. But, she still the only one that can do this much. Also her CHI / Heavy attack area is big
Mortefi Ult + JianXin (hold auto that swirls and gives the shield) CLEARS and interacts REALLLY well!!! - it's a weird combo that seems to be really working.
I have C6 Chixia and she slaps. Ult is basically an aoe nuke and breaks bosses full stamina bars. And once the boss is downed she can just spam her DAKADAKA and swap out to buff everyone.
As a casual danjin player who can't dodge consistently, danjin does occasionally die, but as long as you swap her out to heal, she can stay alive through overworld and bosses. her damage is rlly good for a four star too, my main struggle is getting her to apply the ruby blossoms
Yuanwu is meant to break the white bar. Even his c1 incentivises it with 20% bonus attackspeed. Use his tower off field. His bar will fill while your main dps deals dmg, switch to him and break the shield with his bar skill/ult, then your dps can unleash all damage. Yuanwu is being underestimated.
Add on Havoc Rover. She’s one of the few DPS that have single damage Ult too, I think it is quite refreshing and it really give our Rover the MC vibe and not just made them to be a side character. As we know, everything could be change in the future, and I meant EVERYTHING. Maybe there will be more Twin bosses, maybe there will be a break requirement to deal enough damage, more unliftable enemies. The tier list could change drastically with a single update. So I think just having fun with the game is the best way to go. +Giving enough love for Rover cuz they deserve it 🙂
I got Encore from the discounted banner and I am having fun with her so far. She does soo much damage. Also when I use her for bosses, her ult basically have 100% uptime. I have no idea what I am doing though. But she stronk and I love it.
I love that youre making content with more people in the WW space! It seemed like with previous games there would be more isolation between creators but seeing people like you making strides with other CCs is refreshing!
i also agree with this. i believe they rated her lower because of her damage, but she has so much utility she should be higher and she will pairs great with a lot of the four stars for her ult damage buff.
Yeah I agree with this too, AoE grouping and CC. Already I've been using her ult to keep ranged enemies pinned to the melee dudes by trying to tag all of them with the ult so that they all get cleaved at the same time rather than needing to run around chasing them. It's just baffling how these tier lists do not consider other gameplay utilities that may help for faster clears.
Lingyang is fun. He punches a lot and his special moves are more fun to play, you can can do many different types of things in that time. (He is not good for bosses,but good for exploring and fighting normal overworld enemies)
Imho, Tier list is made for everyone, and not everyone has good skills like you guys, hence it shows if the character has easy usage or not, and it should be included in the making of a tier list. If the character has harder mechanic to use, I'd say it's a minus point, and because of that minus point, she is placed where she is now in the tier list. It's just like this, if there's other character with similar value and easier way to use, why should Danjin be placed in the same tier with that easier to use character? She should be below that character. But.. again. That's just my opinion. :)
Ngl for me I died Lot due to lag and the game literally freezing on parry windows(borderline unplayable on phone but due to circumstances can't use PC, still hope kuro games can fix this issue so yeah) and I'm running danjin solo tbh she has great dps uptime and amazing to play
Fun fact: Jianxin and Verina has the best kit for terrain exploration. This might be nonsensical considering exploration is supposed to be not a problem in wuwa and yes, it is not. But these two has kits that can make it even easier. Verina's heavy attack(a.k.a charged attack) can reach large distance within a short time. Her roots doesn't easily get stuck too unless it's a really high elevation difference you are dashing through. Jianxin can propel herself at a veru high altitude with a trick: jump > basic attack > air-dodge > basic attack > grapple. if grapple is on cooldown: jump > basic attack > air-dodge > glider(jump button).
for 99% of the playerbase, just remember that having fun is the most important part of any game and that if you don't want to play meta that is perfectly fine. if they put your favorite character on the bottom of the tier list, you dont have to listen to them, keep playing with the characters that make you happy!
as a former beidou main since genshin launch, I 100% agree as a current Taoqi main lmao. These types of characters are always fun for me early game, and I dont want to waste my early game days playing boring meta characters.
I feel Calcharo will drop from S- tier to tier B or C after some characters get released, just like what happened to Diluc in Genshin, despite their gameplay being cool.
@@yokumob I know, but at least in Genshin, which is a game that I've been playing since release, characters like Bennet and Fischl never got powercreept, and they're 4 stars (I know they're Sub-dps/Support). The 5 stars that never got powercreept were Hu Tao, Ganyu and Ayaka and they're quite old.
I don't really like this type of content when it's about a game that doesn't have any type of competition, but i do appreciate that there are people talking about this game because i really love it and i want people to know how good it is, with that said, play with whoever you like, because at the end of the day, you won't enjoy playing the game for the "meta" if you don't like a character's gameplay or visual, and believe me, you can do the game's contents with what they give you for free, this game is a lot more about skills than characters
I love seeing Sanhua's stock going up. Such a fun character and definitely one that's carrying me through the early game while I wait for Yinlin to power up my Calchero.
If you pay attention all the pgr players aren't saying anything until they have extra time because they have experience with kuro’s games and know statistics isn't everything. In reality some characters are just hard to do statistics on so its just better to use them for 1-2 weeks then give opinion.
As the description notes this is from pre-release and some stuff have changed. I want to mention one of the biggest change is Jianxin. I didn't play any of the CBTs but other content creators have been saying her issues have been 1. takes a long time to get full bar 2. takes too long to use full bar 3. when interrupted, you get no shields or heals 3. you get one shot by bosses doing taichi. Basically all of that has been fixed and she's an insane unit right now. 1. still an issue but if you have 1 dupe (you can buy it from the store with coral or use the freeby select they gave out for apologies) it becomes a non-issue and she gets full bar from just a swap in. 2. it still takes a while but it does actually insanely good damage while it's executing since everything she does she scales off of ATK. 3. getting interrupted gets you a lower shield but it still heals. 3. you take 50% less damage while doing taichi AND you generate 3 shields while doing this. Meaning, even if they keep smacking you, they'll just deplete your current shield, and once it's fully executed, you still get a full shield afterwards regardless of how much shield was loss during the standstill. So now she's just a high damage sub dps that provides an insane shield, heals the on fielder a huge amount, AND has a one shot negating skill. Any boss one shot mechanic you see? Swap to her and press skill, done. Also she's amazing for mining. Her plunge is considered a multi-hit so see any rocks, jump plunge and it's done.
@@yashaswin_005it’s meta talk. You wouldn’t understand. But they are better in hyper bloom teams. I don’t know how much toughness break would be required for super break to outclass hyper bloom in the current meta but no current characters really rely on their ultimates to do massive super break numbers. So Yuanwu should be run with EM over Break effect right now… since there is no character besides HMC that can facilitate super break as of current and you’d run them with Ruan Mei and there isn’t enough team slots for Yuanwu. Basically lacking other supports, sure he can toughness break alone but that’s utility over him being a sole carry.
I'll be using Genshin or Hsr terms of description Yuanwu can go on field and off field because of his skill which strikes lightning at a opponent when hit It has a specific circle range displayed Yuanwu also enters a buffed state after his burst (which is a Wriothesly but more funny) his basic and charged attack becomes buffed and when he kills his first target he quickly goes for the other when you do a basic attack Some moments i had with Yuanwu Ultimate cast : I have so far punched an enemy on the groin An enemy on the knee An enemy on the chest And an enemy on it's ASS And an enemy on it's back
Havoc Rover is really good, I have 3 account rn, personally I can see him closer to Jiyan that the rest. I get over 6K damage from Havoc Rover ult alone which is nuts. So going with that, I'd say he's around T0.5 (I'm Encore main)
I've been testing out Jianxin for a bit and definitely think she is very underated. I think a lot of people are just confused where she is placed interms of team roles which is understandable given her mixed kit Ive been running her with mortefi, which makes her do funny numbers when you combo Mortefi Ult Jianxin Ult and just hold click. She does a load of damage because of how many times she can proc Mortefis Ult hits. Also her skill a lot of times is used wrongly. It should be used as a parry. Does a a lot more damage and unlike normal parries it can be used to bounce back projectiles, which is fun. The a mount parries I could do with Jianxin compared to other characters is hilarious.
Jianxin is SO satisfying to play idk what everyone is on about. Her dps is quite strong if invested and she’s tanky as hell. I personally use her as a burst dps and switch out.
Danjin is incredibly good - for me she seems to have damage on par with Encore, but it drops off a cliff if you suck. Truly the biggest self report character where people ranking her low have skill issues. Definitely on par with (but realistically more dps than) Rover. Units should be ranked on potential if someone isn’t good enough to see how good they are themselves.
For those who don't know, because these tier lists never mention it: Jianxin is op af for PvE content, because she self heals and COUNTERS the enemies innately in her kit. Do NOT sleep on her for PvE content; she clears everything, just bring a healer with her just in case and you will never die.
Rover's R can hit very hard. So having Jianxin in your team with good energy reg could be pretty nice. She reminds me of Azure Empyrea from Honkai Impact.
I have Jianxin on a second account with a priority of getting Jiyan while my main will be getting Yinlin. I absolutely love her playstyle and the fact I can do so much with her. Sure, she isn't a dedicated DPS but my goal isn't to rush Tower and just enjoy the game.
The problem with Jianxin is a luck of dmg in content with timers (tower for example). U dont need her parry cause every char can parry or perfect dodge things (if u cant so skill issue), same with shield and healing BUT she is sooo fun to play, her animations, overall design, her kit is incredible to play with. She is insane one-man-army in the game where u dont need this style (except cleave in open world) cause of perfect dodges and parrys. BTW she is best char to play on phone or not best pc due to her sustain
I got encore too, and I picked verina with the selector. Definitely worth it in my opinion, she makes the game so much easier with her healing, plus you can use her with anyone.
You forgot another thing about Verina, apart from only needing a 4 star weapon, her "constelations" are also not interesting. It only help her heal more, and provide a dmg boost only to the same element as her. So we don't need to worry about getting her copies.
i think people really underestimate taoqi because she's a quickswap support; def/er/er/def/def , resonance energy weapon, turtle bell... you swap to her and counter, use skill, bell, and burst, then activate the next character's intro skill. if you don't know how to use her or try to make her a main dps then yeah she might seem bad, but that's like saying verina is bad because she's not a main dps and can't use her burst.
Danjin's S-tier ranking depends on your reaction time for Burst Skills, execution of Combos, Dodges, Counters, and Parries; it's fundamentally about your response to each scenario. Essentially, a skill without a cooldown can be quite intimidating.
I truly believe lingyang deserves to be higher. In the main release of the game, his jankiness has almost completely been fixed(at least for me) and his damage output is comparable to other tier 0.5 DPSes
***Rover-Havoc*** As a Rover-Havoc Main, I have to heavily disagree here. Their Damage is Matching of Calcharo and Jiyan's... They have tons of self buffs, (You can also get up to C2. Not C1). They have the largest Single Damage Multiplier in the game, Staring at 765 and at Level 4, which is what i have it at, it is 970~. And no amount of "This Character is bad" can Justify a monstrous 965. Plus Dreamless is made for him and he can get 2 skill activations in a short amount of time. I just Recently hit a 27k hit on his ultimate. and he only needs to be on the field for seconds to do that damage (Skill, Charged Heavy, Skill, Ult, Swap. if you absolutely need to, but he also works extremely well with Sanhua, if you are needing Verina on another Team. In The Tower of Adversity, im running him with Taoqi for the 2nd Dreamless, and Sanhua so my Verina can be used with Calcharo, and I'm almost done the 2nd zone. The Fact that he is so flexible into multiple team comps already, for Quickswap, DPS, and even a bit of off field damage. And, don't get me wrong, his off field damage is nothing to be shy about, its not as good as Mortefi's but its not the main premise of his Kit. I give Havoc Rover a T1. Just between Calcharo and Encore. And... Taoqi. I wont try to admit it, she's bad... but for anyone having troubles with the Event thats like Simulated Universe, She works wonders, All the enemies makes her parries work perfectly, she can self heal and shield which is really nice in that Mode and the Jack of all Trades Playstyle is much better when you only get access to one character. So, if we count that into the final cut, i think she should be put into T2. Also, i don't have her so i cant really Say much, but Jianxin also gives the same 15% DMG Bonus on Outro Skill. She doesnt have VErina's 20% ATK Talent so Verina will be better, but Verina is arguablythe best character in the game... if you have to compare a character to the best character in the game, then they should atleast be good. I say T1, Around Spectro Rover.
Chixia so far Potential 1 is realy dangerous, it give her 100% crit dmg proc on boom-boom. Imagine you build her full crit dmg, and when she unleash boom-boom the dmg can go beyond 2K at lv.30
Bhaizi is underrated. Verina and her has the same team damage buff 15%, they both heal. The only difference is Bhaizi's team buff is 6 seconds, while Verina has 15s.
@fuyukiryujin3723 She requires more field time. Having to switch to her so much more often to maintain her buff makes a huge difference in opportunity cost when your DPS are actually built.

I somehow got lucky and got 2 calcharos at early pity in the selector banner and I'm definitely coupling him with verina and ofc yinlin later on. Keep in mind: We can always get a copy of a character in the shop so E2 is just a matter of time.
The two characters these people hate the most are the characters that i've chosen to main simply because of 1 reason. 1. FIST! LingYang and JianXin. The monk and the tiger. Genshin has 1 'BOXING' character. So, despite what the tier list think. I'm gonna be playing through the game until they add more punching characters. I'm having fun overall, even if my damage is subpar~ Between the shield and heals from JianXin, and the aight damage from my boy LingYang. It feels so saucy and fun. Then again, i'm still early game. So who knows. I just know I love these characters and this tier list is pretty good.
Love the colabs :) I got Encore first and decided to just stick with Encore/Sanhua/Verina (picked with selector) and have that be my one team I power leveled, and I haven't regretted it. I have the most unlucky account ever and can't seem to get Jiyan (went right to 80 pulls and lost 50/50 to Encore lol), but I'm far enough in, even if I get him now I'll probably wait to invest in him.
IDK I am so in love with YangYang, she's like Hutao+Venti in the same kit where she just spams CA and have 2 tools to crowd control mobs. Not the best single target DPS for sure tho.
I think aalto is better then what most tier lists seem to say, he’s actually got a decent amount of utility, with his skill, the taunt his clone has gathers enemies pretty effectively since all enemies move towards it depending on how you’re positioned when using it plus the taunt works on bosses, also his mist dash thing is good for repositioning and getting outside of a group of enemies so that you can try to push enemies into more enemies by attacking them into each other. On top of all of this, being a ranged character helps a decent bit with sustain by allowing you to keep outside of a bosses attack range more often with things like his intro skill that automatically puts some space in between you and a boss, his skill that is a quick dash back or just by simply being able to attack from a distance. I’ve been maining Yang Yang and Aalto has been a A+ tier support for her. He boosts her damage pretty well with his outro skill and has some good swap cancel combos with her abilites, this plus doing decent damage himself makes it feel like he adds a lot to the team without having to contribute the most in any one thing such as dps or support because he’s actually at least contributing something helpful all around the board. He does some damage himself here and there, he provides some utility through his good mobility and his taunt that helps in both sustaining the team by taking aggro and in providing useful cc by gathering melee enemies, finally he gives a buff with his outro skill that combos well with the four star weapon I use on him. The weapon boosts the atk of characters Aalto switches into for a similar duration as his outro skill. Overall I’d say he’s at least B to lower A tier and is worth using if you plan on having any aero main dps’s. Best of luck on your rolls if you read this far lol.
Havoc Rover is an amazing dps unit, her Forte mode makes her deal very solid damage, Her E has amazing scaling and I've had her liberation hit for almost 30k before.
taoqi is really just a shield character as for my opinion, I use her to just build an easy shield and sometimes click an ult but I try to not loose time on her. she's not a dps that's for sure just def for shield and you at least have some additional protection
Taoqi is good as 2nd supporter for hyper carry comps. Her intro allows her to consume her res stacks (3) to inflict big damage for 3 attacks and her E gives a shield to the main carry, not to mention that for bosses that attack too fast without counter windows, her parry is perfect to mitigate damage. Encore - Taoqi - Verina This team allows Encore to keep dishing out high damage through her R while being healed by Verina and getting shields from Taoqi
Uh oh. You guys are sleepin' HARD on that next Meta Team. Calcharo Main DPS - YinLin - Jianxing. The Resonance Liberation Damage Increase ALONE makes Jianxing worth to pick as a Support for Calcharo. The Shield also allows for him to get to unga bunga territorry, that is if you can manage to build it which isn't the deciding factor. That is just for existing 38% more Damage on Calcharos entire Ult duration, which he can buff himself with Heavy Attack (middle of his skill tree) too. Also Chixia got done a little bit dirty as her Outro Skill at least does 530% of ATK stat as AOE damage, which wasn't even mentioned. That is more than most of the pure damage 5* do to my knowledge.
This video basically: "This character looks cool idk I haven't used him yet" WHY MAKE A TIER LIST IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT EVERY CHARACTER DOES AND THEIR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES?
I get a pretty strong feeling that just about none of these characters will be worth using within 6 months. The generosity of rewards at this stage also matches that guess, because what we get now matters less if the power level scales up later. I'd be happy to be wrong, of course
Taoqi is minimum T1, she hits like a truck if you max out her defense. Mines hitting for like 8k on her ult, so i disagree, she is a great sub-dps and provides a beefy shield, she is pretty much unkillable as well like zhongli - you can time her really well.
Kim dokja (mmc) is the one carrying me now , his kit is just overall perfect for starting, his moves work and deal damage better then story acquired characters.

I use lingyan as a outro spammer for burst dps Sanhua. His outro is a decent nuke, Using him until someone has a glacio damage buff outro. Lingyan using the lingering tune set with one ER mainstat. The other outro damage dealer is chixia. Might even better especially if get the 5* standard gun.

The Verina situation will just be like Bennett situation. A healer, support buffer that can fit at any team. Even if they werent optimal for certain contents or synergy, they will still be the easiest pick for convenience. Especially now that Verina is free from guaranteed 5star selector compensation mail, no doubt about it she cant be too powercrept even in the future.

Until yoiu get oneshot by simulated boss, John Lee only needs 1- sec charge time and that is a really thick shield. The chance is that Jianxin will have a promãx version with smaller charge time và thickẻr shield. Right now she is like Noelle.
I've not fully built her yet but I think people are sleeping on her burst dps, she's not meant to be a low field time purely defensive unit. Her burst and charge both do big damage in a big AoE, and her basics and skill are good too
zhongli, nah. Mini zhongli yes. I can see alot of improvement in her kit, which we all know in few month we gonna get similar limited support character that powercrept her easily. Only pick her from the free selector if you like her unit. If you simply f2p that want to clear the content, the only option is verina, if you already have her then either encore or calchoro. You gonna need 3 team anyway.
For me, Jianxin is so underrated cause yes her 4 secs charge is long, but that's just it. that's the only bad thing. her shield is tanky af and heals quite well, all for 30 seconds long. I use her a lot cause of the initial game lag and hard to dodge attacks. She MOTHERED the team so well. If you like ZhongLi in Genshin, you'll be satisfied playing her in WuWa
Edit: guys relax 😂 I'm not saying she's a must pull/have. Just that most players touch more on her cc and sub dps capabilities but dont talk much about her shield/healing kit, which is her own Forte. She's just as amazing as any other Resonator available ✌🏻 also, do know that even with a shield, dodging and parrying attacks do have their benefit in this game rather than 'just not taking dmg'. I mainly shield cause I couldn't bother to keep/always dodge 🤣 Have fun playing guys!

@@k45oz29 Danjin is nothing like Hu Tao. Hu Tao is reasonably tanky and easy to play, Danjin is extremely fragile and difficult to play.
Hu Tao playing at half HP is irrelevant because half of Hu Tao's HP is 100% of normal chara HP.

You can actually get havoc rover's second resonance chain by handing in enough sonance caskets. The second one is unlocked at level 8. Also her ult multiplier might be the highest in the game.
Nit might be, it is indisputably the highest multiplier in the game. At level 3, it's 890%, at max level it'll be 1500%
i already got Rover's havoc waveband from the caskets and I am only Union level 24. lol Didn't even know it was havoc until I couldn't use it for my spectro. XD

Jianxin is basically Zhongli C6, with Anemo fusion on her basic attacks, Beidou's counter, Venti's succ and an AOE charged attack. Personally i think shes worth S- tier, but maybe at like the lowest.

Shes basically jack of all trades but master of nothing. This game is more evasion oriented and the shield doesnt really provide much, unless you are really struggling then the shield wouldnt be too bad. The suck is good, great for grouping, her buff is okay. The "anemo infusion" doesnt really mean anything because there is no elemental interaction in this game. Also all characters do damage according to their element type with their m1s. You'd definitely find more use in running verina. Suck can just honestly be replaced with yang yang, who can help provide more energy, or of course running Jiyan who is also great for grouping. If you dont have verina though, she's a great person to have in slot. Although that's not going to be the case since there is a free 5* ticket, which most likely most people picked her if they didnt have her already.
Taoqi deserves a better spot. She has a unique defensive play style, which imo is quite similar to Buster Blade in God Eater.
Well, I love using her, especially on Depths of Illusive Realm, which turns her into a counterattack powerhouse.
I hope there will be an upcoming echo set or weapon that supports her defensive style as well as for Jianxin.
I'm maining her and have no regrets. I haven't gotten to super end game, but so far her play style is perfect for me.

It's only been a few days. I played Ling Yang, Shittiest time of my life trying to understand how he works, once mastered, I couldn't stand playing any other currently available DPS. They are just not as fun. Not dealing dmg with this guy is actual skill issue

Now I'm lvl 36 with 45% exploration on every region and now there's not much new left to do except grind on echo and other stuff

I used lingyang a lot and idk about his kit potential and stuff but I actually found his moveset pretty good. him and sanhua feel really good to play together and using his E in the air as a way to position around the boss is nice. You don’t need to dodge the boss if you are behind him.
I lost on the random 5* and got lion boy, so played him a lot. He’s fun to play and has a surprisingly high skill cap with his flexible combos and mobility, but the numbers just aren’t there to make him strong. He’s definitely fixable, and nothing in the game so far seems hard enough to make him obsolete, but I’m assuming endgame will be maximizing burst and he doesn’t bring a lot of tools for that.

I have calcharo too so if I get the new lady coming out I will be set for long term unless they make it so you have to pull new characters to clear content like HSR does.

Yeah she's C tier, useless character for sure 😂 Like these tier lists are based on overworld content, the first floors of Tower, and spreadsheet calcs, nobody has even sniffed a whiff of endgame content yet we are ranking character performances already.
She is just insanely good in exploration. In the end game, she is even struggling as support.

I think JianXin gets way better as a solid sustain/counter/CC character when she gets S1(C1), after casting her intro skill she gets into the field with her “CHI” all the way up, so she can Ult and shield right away.
This way she will keep characters like Jiyan that likes a shield for his NA to get the best out of its damage, also healing quite well.
Also, she buffs ultimate damage, she will be soon some new characters best sustain.
It’s just sad that her damage is low, her scaling is stack, and her CC is not that respectful void, is just a regular CC. But, she still the only one that can do this much. Also her CHI / Heavy attack area is big
Her S1 only makes her stack faster from normals, not having forte already stacked, which means her field time is still huge
Mortefi Ult + JianXin (hold auto that swirls and gives the shield) CLEARS and interacts REALLLY well!!! - it's a weird combo that seems to be really working.

I have C6 Chixia and she slaps. Ult is basically an aoe nuke and breaks bosses full stamina bars. And once the boss is downed she can just spam her DAKADAKA and swap out to buff everyone.
She is the unit I have the most fun playing with.... but maybe that's because I like the gunner style.

As a casual danjin player who can't dodge consistently, danjin does occasionally die, but as long as you swap her out to heal, she can stay alive through overworld and bosses. her damage is rlly good for a four star too, my main struggle is getting her to apply the ruby blossoms
Yuanwu is meant to break the white bar. Even his c1 incentivises it with 20% bonus attackspeed. Use his tower off field. His bar will fill while your main dps deals dmg, switch to him and break the shield with his bar skill/ult, then your dps can unleash all damage. Yuanwu is being underestimated.
Add on Havoc Rover. She’s one of the few DPS that have single damage Ult too, I think it is quite refreshing and it really give our Rover the MC vibe and not just made them to be a side character.
As we know, everything could be change in the future, and I meant EVERYTHING.
Maybe there will be more Twin bosses, maybe there will be a break requirement to deal enough damage, more unliftable enemies. The tier list could change drastically with a single update.
So I think just having fun with the game is the best way to go. +Giving enough love for Rover cuz they deserve it 🙂

every bos farm become a lot easier with her.. so for a 4 star she is really good..
tbh imo Jianxin is low S, her shielding and heals are nice and her grouping is very strong.
Also, Sanhua is very good as a main DPS, imo.
i also agree with this. i believe they rated her lower because of her damage, but she has so much utility she should be higher and she will pairs great with a lot of the four stars for her ult damage buff.
Yeah I agree with this too, AoE grouping and CC. Already I've been using her ult to keep ranged enemies pinned to the melee dudes by trying to tag all of them with the ult so that they all get cleaved at the same time rather than needing to run around chasing them. It's just baffling how these tier lists do not consider other gameplay utilities that may help for faster clears.

Imho, Tier list is made for everyone, and not everyone has good skills like you guys, hence it shows if the character has easy usage or not, and it should be included in the making of a tier list.
If the character has harder mechanic to use, I'd say it's a minus point, and because of that minus point, she is placed where she is now in the tier list.
It's just like this, if there's other character with similar value and easier way to use, why should Danjin be placed in the same tier with that easier to use character? She should be below that character.
But.. again. That's just my opinion. :)
Ngl for me I died Lot due to lag and the game literally freezing on parry windows(borderline unplayable on phone but due to circumstances can't use PC, still hope kuro games can fix this issue so yeah) and I'm running danjin solo tbh she has great dps uptime and amazing to play

Fun fact:
Jianxin and Verina has the best kit for terrain exploration. This might be nonsensical considering exploration is supposed to be not a problem in wuwa and yes, it is not. But these two has kits that can make it even easier.
Verina's heavy attack(a.k.a charged attack) can reach large distance within a short time. Her roots doesn't easily get stuck too unless it's a really high elevation difference you are dashing through.
Jianxin can propel herself at a veru high altitude with a trick:
jump > basic attack > air-dodge > basic attack > grapple. if grapple is on cooldown: jump > basic attack > air-dodge > glider(jump button).
for 99% of the playerbase, just remember that having fun is the most important part of any game and that if you don't want to play meta that is perfectly fine. if they put your favorite character on the bottom of the tier list, you dont have to listen to them, keep playing with the characters that make you happy!

They're new to kuro games content. Its expected that they use similar tactics to genshin.
If you pay attention all the pgr players aren't saying anything until they have extra time because they have experience with kuro’s games and know statistics isn't everything. In reality some characters are just hard to do statistics on so its just better to use them for 1-2 weeks then give opinion.

As the description notes this is from pre-release and some stuff have changed. I want to mention one of the biggest change is Jianxin.
I didn't play any of the CBTs but other content creators have been saying her issues have been 1. takes a long time to get full bar 2. takes too long to use full bar 3. when interrupted, you get no shields or heals 3. you get one shot by bosses doing taichi.
Basically all of that has been fixed and she's an insane unit right now. 1. still an issue but if you have 1 dupe (you can buy it from the store with coral or use the freeby select they gave out for apologies) it becomes a non-issue and she gets full bar from just a swap in. 2. it still takes a while but it does actually insanely good damage while it's executing since everything she does she scales off of ATK. 3. getting interrupted gets you a lower shield but it still heals. 3. you take 50% less damage while doing taichi AND you generate 3 shields while doing this. Meaning, even if they keep smacking you, they'll just deplete your current shield, and once it's fully executed, you still get a full shield afterwards regardless of how much shield was loss during the standstill.
So now she's just a high damage sub dps that provides an insane shield, heals the on fielder a huge amount, AND has a one shot negating skill. Any boss one shot mechanic you see? Swap to her and press skill, done.

But they are better in hyper bloom teams. I don’t know how much toughness break would be required for super break to outclass hyper bloom in the current meta but no current characters really rely on their ultimates to do massive super break numbers.
So Yuanwu should be run with EM over Break effect right now… since there is no character besides HMC that can facilitate super break as of current and you’d run them with Ruan Mei and there isn’t enough team slots for Yuanwu. Basically lacking other supports, sure he can toughness break alone but that’s utility over him being a sole carry.

It has a specific circle range displayed
Yuanwu also enters a buffed state after his burst (which is a Wriothesly but more funny) his basic and charged attack becomes buffed and when he kills his first target he quickly goes for the other when you do a basic attack

Havoc Rover is really good, I have 3 account rn, personally I can see him closer to Jiyan that the rest. I get over 6K damage from Havoc Rover ult alone which is nuts.
So going with that, I'd say he's around T0.5 (I'm Encore main)

I've been testing out Jianxin for a bit and definitely think she is very underated. I think a lot of people are just confused where she is placed interms of team roles which is understandable given her mixed kit
Ive been running her with mortefi, which makes her do funny numbers when you combo Mortefi Ult Jianxin Ult and just hold click. She does a load of damage because of how many times she can proc Mortefis Ult hits.
Also her skill a lot of times is used wrongly. It should be used as a parry. Does a a lot more damage and unlike normal parries it can be used to bounce back projectiles, which is fun. The a mount parries I could do with Jianxin compared to other characters is hilarious.

Jianxin is SO satisfying to play idk what everyone is on about. Her dps is quite strong if invested and she’s tanky as hell. I personally use her as a burst dps and switch out.
Danjin is incredibly good - for me she seems to have damage on par with Encore, but it drops off a cliff if you suck. Truly the biggest self report character where people ranking her low have skill issues. Definitely on par with (but realistically more dps than) Rover. Units should be ranked on potential if someone isn’t good enough to see how good they are themselves.
For those who don't know, because these tier lists never mention it: Jianxin is op af for PvE content, because she self heals and COUNTERS the enemies innately in her kit. Do NOT sleep on her for PvE content; she clears everything, just bring a healer with her just in case and you will never die.

Rover's R can hit very hard. So having Jianxin in your team with good energy reg could be pretty nice. She reminds me of Azure Empyrea from Honkai Impact.

I have Jianxin on a second account with a priority of getting Jiyan while my main will be getting Yinlin. I absolutely love her playstyle and the fact I can do so much with her. Sure, she isn't a dedicated DPS but my goal isn't to rush Tower and just enjoy the game.

The problem with Jianxin is a luck of dmg in content with timers (tower for example). U dont need her parry cause every char can parry or perfect dodge things (if u cant so skill issue), same with shield and healing BUT she is sooo fun to play, her animations, overall design, her kit is incredible to play with. She is insane one-man-army in the game where u dont need this style (except cleave in open world) cause of perfect dodges and parrys. BTW she is best char to play on phone or not best pc due to her sustain

I got encore too, and I picked verina with the selector. Definitely worth it in my opinion, she makes the game so much easier with her healing, plus you can use her with anyone.
You forgot another thing about Verina, apart from only needing a 4 star weapon, her "constelations" are also not interesting. It only help her heal more, and provide a dmg boost only to the same element as her. So we don't need to worry about getting her copies.
i think people really underestimate taoqi because she's a quickswap support; def/er/er/def/def , resonance energy weapon, turtle bell... you swap to her and counter, use skill, bell, and burst, then activate the next character's intro skill.
if you don't know how to use her or try to make her a main dps then yeah she might seem bad, but that's like saying verina is bad because she's not a main dps and can't use her burst.
Yuanwu is underrated when you have Varina on the field with him. I love love love him. He is so strong after getting her damage buff.
Lingyang dmg is good if you know how his kit work that's the only thing i could say, and yes i do main him
Danjin's S-tier ranking depends on your reaction time for Burst Skills, execution of Combos, Dodges, Counters, and Parries; it's fundamentally about your response to each scenario. Essentially, a skill without a cooldown can be quite intimidating.
I truly believe lingyang deserves to be higher. In the main release of the game, his jankiness has almost completely been fixed(at least for me) and his damage output is comparable to other tier 0.5 DPSes

As a Rover-Havoc Main, I have to heavily disagree here. Their Damage is Matching of Calcharo and Jiyan's... They have tons of self buffs, (You can also get up to C2. Not C1). They have the largest Single Damage Multiplier in the game, Staring at 765 and at Level 4, which is what i have it at, it is 970~. And no amount of "This Character is bad" can Justify a monstrous 965. Plus Dreamless is made for him and he can get 2 skill activations in a short amount of time. I just Recently hit a 27k hit on his ultimate. and he only needs to be on the field for seconds to do that damage (Skill, Charged Heavy, Skill, Ult, Swap. if you absolutely need to, but he also works extremely well with Sanhua, if you are needing Verina on another Team. In The Tower of Adversity, im running him with Taoqi for the 2nd Dreamless, and Sanhua so my Verina can be used with Calcharo, and I'm almost done the 2nd zone. The Fact that he is so flexible into multiple team comps already, for Quickswap, DPS, and even a bit of off field damage. And, don't get me wrong, his off field damage is nothing to be shy about, its not as good as Mortefi's but its not the main premise of his Kit. I give Havoc Rover a T1. Just between Calcharo and Encore.
And... Taoqi. I wont try to admit it, she's bad... but for anyone having troubles with the Event thats like Simulated Universe, She works wonders, All the enemies makes her parries work perfectly, she can self heal and shield which is really nice in that Mode and the Jack of all Trades Playstyle is much better when you only get access to one character. So, if we count that into the final cut, i think she should be put into T2.
Also, i don't have her so i cant really Say much, but Jianxin also gives the same 15% DMG Bonus on Outro Skill. She doesnt have VErina's 20% ATK Talent so Verina will be better, but Verina is arguablythe best character in the game... if you have to compare a character to the best character in the game, then they should atleast be good. I say T1, Around Spectro Rover.

Chixia so far Potential 1 is realy dangerous, it give her 100% crit dmg proc on boom-boom. Imagine you build her full crit dmg, and when she unleash boom-boom the dmg can go beyond 2K at lv.30
Bhaizi is underrated. Verina and her has the same team damage buff 15%, they both heal. The only difference is Bhaizi's team buff is 6 seconds, while Verina has 15s.

She requires more field time. Having to switch to her so much more often to maintain her buff makes a huge difference in opportunity cost when your DPS are actually built.
Im so Torn, I want to E2 Calcharo, but I'm weighing if I really need Verina from the selector. The 30% damage increase from E2 is going to be Huge

I somehow got lucky and got 2 calcharos at early pity in the selector banner and I'm definitely coupling him with verina and ofc yinlin later on. Keep in mind: We can always get a copy of a character in the shop so E2 is just a matter of time.

The two characters these people hate the most are the characters that i've chosen to main simply because of 1 reason.
1. FIST!
LingYang and JianXin. The monk and the tiger. Genshin has 1 'BOXING' character. So, despite what the tier list think. I'm gonna be playing through the game until they add more punching characters. I'm having fun overall, even if my damage is subpar~
Between the shield and heals from JianXin, and the aight damage from my boy LingYang. It feels so saucy and fun. Then again, i'm still early game. So who knows. I just know I love these characters and this tier list is pretty good.
ER Chixia is so Meta, they should've focused on her more imo. Scaling on her skills is crazy imo. But I'm biased af lol.
Love the colabs :) I got Encore first and decided to just stick with Encore/Sanhua/Verina (picked with selector) and have that be my one team I power leveled, and I haven't regretted it. I have the most unlucky account ever and can't seem to get Jiyan (went right to 80 pulls and lost 50/50 to Encore lol), but I'm far enough in, even if I get him now I'll probably wait to invest in him.
IDK I am so in love with YangYang, she's like Hutao+Venti in the same kit where she just spams CA and have 2 tools to crowd control mobs. Not the best single target DPS for sure tho.
Lingyang has a good damage, although he gets staggered a lot, you can at least dodge counter while he's in the air.
I think aalto is better then what most tier lists seem to say, he’s actually got a decent amount of utility, with his skill, the taunt his clone has gathers enemies pretty effectively since all enemies move towards it depending on how you’re positioned when using it plus the taunt works on bosses, also his mist dash thing is good for repositioning and getting outside of a group of enemies so that you can try to push enemies into more enemies by attacking them into each other. On top of all of this, being a ranged character helps a decent bit with sustain by allowing you to keep outside of a bosses attack range more often with things like his intro skill that automatically puts some space in between you and a boss, his skill that is a quick dash back or just by simply being able to attack from a distance. I’ve been maining Yang Yang and Aalto has been a A+ tier support for her. He boosts her damage pretty well with his outro skill and has some good swap cancel combos with her abilites, this plus doing decent damage himself makes it feel like he adds a lot to the team without having to contribute the most in any one thing such as dps or support because he’s actually at least contributing something helpful all around the board. He does some damage himself here and there, he provides some utility through his good mobility and his taunt that helps in both sustaining the team by taking aggro and in providing useful cc by gathering melee enemies, finally he gives a buff with his outro skill that combos well with the four star weapon I use on him. The weapon boosts the atk of characters Aalto switches into for a similar duration as his outro skill.
Overall I’d say he’s at least B to lower A tier and is worth using if you plan on having any aero main dps’s. Best of luck on your rolls if you read this far lol.
Havoc Rover is an amazing dps unit, her Forte mode makes her deal very solid damage, Her E has amazing scaling and I've had her liberation hit for almost 30k before.
I wasnt wrong with Sanhua. I prefer her playstyle than Calcharo. Im glad to see her stonks rising when paired with Encore and even Yinlin
I love early game tierlists that focus completly on number output and ignore utility.
taoqi is really just a shield character as for my opinion, I use her to just build an easy shield and sometimes click an ult but I try to not loose time on her. she's not a dps that's for sure just def for shield and you at least have some additional protection

Taoqi is good as 2nd supporter for hyper carry comps.
Her intro allows her to consume her res stacks (3) to inflict big damage for 3 attacks and her E gives a shield to the main carry, not to mention that for bosses that attack too fast without counter windows, her parry is perfect to mitigate damage.
Encore - Taoqi - Verina
This team allows Encore to keep dishing out high damage through her R while being healed by Verina and getting shields from Taoqi

Calcharo Main DPS - YinLin - Jianxing.
The Resonance Liberation Damage Increase ALONE makes Jianxing worth to pick as a Support for Calcharo.
The Shield also allows for him to get to unga bunga territorry, that is if you can manage to build it which isn't the deciding factor.
That is just for existing 38% more Damage on Calcharos entire Ult duration, which he can buff himself with Heavy Attack (middle of his skill tree) too.
Also Chixia got done a little bit dirty as her Outro Skill at least does 530% of ATK stat as AOE damage, which wasn't even mentioned. That is more than most of the pure damage 5* do to my knowledge.

I get a pretty strong feeling that just about none of these characters will be worth using within 6 months. The generosity of rewards at this stage also matches that guess, because what we get now matters less if the power level scales up later. I'd be happy to be wrong, of course
Taoqi is minimum T1, she hits like a truck if you max out her defense. Mines hitting for like 8k on her ult, so i disagree, she is a great sub-dps and provides a beefy shield, she is pretty much unkillable as well like zhongli - you can time her really well.

I use lingyan as a outro spammer for burst dps Sanhua. His outro is a decent nuke, Using him until someone has a glacio damage buff outro. Lingyan using the lingering tune set with one ER mainstat.
The other outro damage dealer is chixia. Might even better especially if get the 5* standard gun.
