I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of xiangling. I try to play diluc. My xiangling deals more damage. I try to play yoimiya. My xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Hu tao. My xiangling deals more damage. I want to play Klee. Her best team has xiangling. I want to play raiden, childe. They both want xiangling. She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her the catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull engulfing lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with homa." I can't pull for homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world Edit: I've started a world war 3 Edit 2: You all shall tremble at the power of my top 2% Xiangling
Just a little note, Anemo can effect dendro secondhand. If an Anemo does pyro swirl and hits a dendro core, the burgeon trigger will pull off the Anemo unit's EM. I do this all the time as a Sucrose main
So that’s Hydro, Dendro, Pyro and Anemo? Your Anemo char is Sucrose, could you please share what characters you typically use for the rest of the team to get that Anemo + Burgeon setup?
@@silvercat7392My favorite team comp is a Pokémon team! For me, it’s the most fun. My team is Sucrose, Xiangling, Yao Yao, and Furina. I also dub this team “Shock and Awe”, because it’s explosive and chaotic. My Sucrose, Xiangling, and Yao Yao are all C6. Furina is C0, but she is OP even at C0. I have an amazing set of crimson witch on Xiangling to boost burgeon, and my Yao Yao is built with a 60/40 split on a ATK build versus a Healing build. Yao Yao is using emblem to maximize the utility of her burst DMG. Yao Yao has become one of my favorite players in the game, when built correctly. My rotation starts with Sucrose skill to boost team EM. Then I apply hydro with Furina skill. Next, I apply dendro with Yao Yao skill for bloom/burgeon, but you could also go with Xiangling first to apply Vaporize. Either way, it’s a win-win, but I usually go with Yao Yao skill, then Xiangling Skill. Finally, we end back on sucrose to continuous swirl everything together. Her pyro swirl can trigger all of the bloom cores simultaneously. The resulting explosion typically deletes any enemies instantaneously. If you need to do a second round, I will start again with sucrose skill to boost EM, Furina burst to boost dmg, Xiangling burst/skill to apply pyro, Sucrose burst, and then Yao Yao’s burst last since she needs to stay on field. The second round is overkill and rarely necessary in any content outside of the abyss. It’s just too powerful. The skill run will trivialize most of the game. I just release all my Pokémon and stand back and watch as they decimate my enemies. Sucrose is just waving her arms around like a madman music conductor, causing massive explosions. It’s really quite satisfying. This team comp works against all enemy types too. DMG rated E for Everybody lol
@@silvercat7392 My current favorite team is Sucrose, Xiangling, Yaoyyao, and Furina; a Pokemon, burgeon, vaporize team. I start with Sucrose skill to boost EM, then Furina skill to apply hydro. Next is Yaoyyao skill to create dendro cores off the hydro, and then Xiangling skill for pyro application. Finally, after dropping Xiangling skill, quickly switch back to Sucrose to swirl the pyro. Honestly, this first round is usually strong enough to clear most content. In harder content, you can repeat the rotation using everyone's burst and/or skill. My Yaoyyao has the perfect blend of healing and attack. I use her with emblem and the catch (or Engulfing Lightning when I'm not using Raiden), 36/120 crit, 38k HP, 260% ER. Her burst does around 5k to 9k per radish, per rabbit (which quickly adds up to alot of damage while healing the whole team and maximizing the DMG bonus from Furina. If I have to be out on the floor to utilize her burst, I focused on making her burst as useful as possible. Sucrose, Xiangling, and Yaoyyao are all C6. Furina C0. All of them have at least 2 crowns. It's my favorite team and it's super f2P friendly (with enough time).
@@silvercat7392 If it's a burgeon team, you'd usually do a hydro sub and dendro sub with a pyro main. From this video, that locks in Nahida and either Xingqui (healer) or Yelan (damage) depending on your preferences. Then just pick any of the 3 anemo characters listed and your favorite pyro main, and you're good to go.
I feel like you should have mentionned Yaoyao as a budget-friendly dendro character that consolidates good dendro application and very high healing. Her constellations don't even bring much, so she's perfect at C0 !
Yes, before Furina Yao-yao was my secondary healer (Kokomi was my primary) even though I had a Baizhu. I have switched to Baizhu or Jean when using Furina because Yao-yao's team heals requires her to be on field longer than I would like, but for non-Furina teams, she's still aces.
@@AH_125 You have two main choices : Deepwood memories if you're playing a team that aims to do dendro damage, such as hyperbloom, burgeon and spread. If you're playing a quicken team, tenacity of the Millelith is going to be your best choice. She heals enough that you don't need to put her on maiden's. Weapon-wise, fav is the best, and stats wise, crit chance to proc fav, HP and ER is all you need. You don't need EM here as she won't be the one doing reaction damage. Hope this helps !
I'm a bit torn since there is no Geo section. I wanted to say that Albedo is a pretty good unit as a sub dps and he also gives elemental mastery bonus in his passive talent. He is my first 5 star and pretty much carries me since all you have to do is slap defense stats at him and he deals big damage, and like kuki, you only needs his skill (tho his burst do deals damage), and it would always be up. I would argue that he can be versatile as a unit, you can use any team, put him in, and he would carry his weight for the team. I still use him, and he still is one of my easiest to build characters, since again, all you need is defense (I personally use Husk of Opulent dreams on him, dull defense). You can also use him as a somewhat heilder with crystalize reactions, since every couple of hits in his elemental skill deals geo damage, and can cause crystalize. He also didn't really need his constellations in my opinion, sure it does boost damage and performance, but I have him at C0 and he just works. I am abit disappointed that there are no geo reccomendations, but your video is very helpful, so thank you!
I 100% agree. His skill is also super aesthetically pleasing, Crystallize just makes me feel like I'm dealing more damage cuz it looks so nice. I also don't get annoyed by his voice lines while I'm exploring haha
Just a constant reminder to pull any character you want or like, the amount of damage you deal doesn't matter if you're not having fun (unless you're into that and flex it online.) Or you don't like the gameplay, just get any character whether they're meta or not and enjoy the game 😊
The opposite is also true, if you get the characters you want but they end up not synergizing well and making things harder for you then its not worth it. Aim to strike a balance, meaning get a few characters that are good together and can make a good team while keeping an eye out for your favorites and saving for them.
@Tsirkon, I think your advice is kind of correct - if you don't care about ever clearing the Abyss or playing at WT 8, fine play whomever you want. But World Tier 8, level 90 bosses, weekly bosses, and Abyss 11-12, really favors the META. You know who's good in the Abyss, week of November 28? Wriothesley, Neuvillette, Furina, and teams that fit them. I don't have them and I'm stumped on Abyss 12-1 because I don't have the latest META characters.
More like have a balanced approach, especially for f2p or dolphins. People generally have multiple characters they like, choose the one(s) that can be good with as little effort and primogems as possible.
What is the point of this? The more damage you the more the fun you have. I don't think any psychopath would have have fun doing 2000 damage to a boss with 2 million hp. It has now become trend in community to hate on characters that are strong. This advice applies only to whales. F2p's don't have the luxury to not pull for Kazuha or Nahida. Only whales can get specific buffers like c6 Faruzan, Gorou and Kujou Sara to make every character work
Shark, I'd like to remind you that while you did mention Ganyu, she also has great flexibility in that she can do freeze or melt, and her synergy with Venti is off the charts with her elemental burst, which has 100% uptime as well as working even when she's off field (I agree that she's still another on-field carry usually and your other points are spot on, just that I feel you missed mentioning this detail), but her playstyle isn't the easiest on mobile and controller can be weird too depending on the person and settings.
I feel like the pyro archon will have very good offfield pyro applications that she becomes better than xiangling at that role. Edit:she might not have faster application than Xiangling ,but would have a better uptime.
Hu tao will finally get the Diluc treatment once we go to Natlan, bound to get powercrept by the Archon since its a nation of war so it makes sense she'll be an on-field hypercarry.
This is a really helpful video. As a newbie with zero previous gaming experiance and playing on mobile I was stuggling to see what charaters I need. Im also pretty bad at aiming cause my reactions are a little slow so its good to see who I should pull for, to build strong teams and get an idea of some artifacts. I do also have to say though that Navia has been my most used character the last couple of months. She deals a heck ton of damage and for a mobile user is incredibly easy to play.
Zhongli's actually a REALLY good training character because he allows you to observe (most) enemy actions and reactions without fear of death. Double Hydro Zhongli team simply for scoping boss AI.
I prefer Beidou for learning: 1. Parry mechanic tells you exactly when a hurt box occurs and even has a sound and screen shake to let you know if special effects are going all over the place so you can’t see the shield flicker 2. Weak shield (for constellation) and the interruption resistance lets you know what’s a big hit versus what’s a light tap 3. Still has damage reduction to avoid oneshot. If you are really just trying to watch enemy combos to the end without accidentally defeating the enemy, add a healer.
Lets be honest, late game has so many IR that you hardly ever need a shield or heck even dodge too much. There are exeception in bosses but the AOE affect are very easy to dodge. I cant even think Zhongli as a comfort pick when there are so many healers that just almost instantly heal you to full.
IMO i would recommend fischl more instead of kuki! Its probably because im biased since i love fischl but also i feel like fischl works great in basically every electro reaction team (due to her high personal dmg) whereas kuki really only shines in hyperbloom so shes abit more restrictive
I appreciate your videos so much! My 16yo son plays this a lot and he got me into it recently. He has tried to “teach me the way” 😂 but alas, I find that your videos are so much easier to understand. I am only AR 12, but I am thoroughly enjoying the game so far and have been following your guidance on what to focus on as a new player. I appreciate you! Thank you as always! 🦈❤
@@sirthomasevangelion1258 I’m actually mom, but Dad is a gamer too. Our whole family (6 of us) are gamers. It is the best thing, but also can be most expensive thing ever too lol. Could always start off with some fun board or card games. Then mobile. 💖
As a low spender (I own one battle pass) I think neuvi is a good f2p character since he’s extremely easy to build, he doesn’t NEED a team and even without c1 he’s still extremely strong. Also one of his best weapons is prototype that provides a small amount of team wide healing. If you own furina neuvi also provides over healing. A neuvi and furina team has been one of my best teams that I’ve used and I’ve been playing for over 2 years.
Even without my qiqi neuvi has been able to sustain my entire teams health with prototype and furinas over healing. I highly recommend him if you want an extremely strong hitting hydro character
Furina's healing ability is overlooked by most people, but its usefulness cannot be overstated in the overworld. Whether you're farming domains or just wandering around, you can usually top out your party's HP in less than 10 seconds without needing to use a burst. It also makes Hu Tao a viable overworld character, since you never need to worry about her HP drain while fighting mobs. For those who have them, I cannot recommend the BluTao core highly enough. Just add a healer and the support of your choice, and you can handle just about anything the game throws at you.
@@mordakie3805 Thats true but you could save up the cons for another powerful unit to get more damage/ diversify to even more teams than to get get c2 furina.
i'd like to add jean for the comfort tier! i main her but i also use her a support/healer simultaneously with every team, and everything works perfectly. her q can heal all your party members with just one click WHILE doing big dmg !! and she can heal with just her normal attacks. she can also do a little bit of cc with her e. on top of this, she's relatively easy to build since her heals scales off of atk. just slap some atk% + anemo + crit stats and you're good to go. literally the on/off dips+GREAT healer character i love her
If anyone wants a dps go for Nuvilete without thinking. He is the best dps in the game mathematically rn. And his 2nd bIs is craftable. He can solo a side of abyss by himself. I wish I got him but damn I will get him next time
Nice video, excellent for beginners but for veteran’s mindset as well. Fully agree but I’d put more emphasis on Neuvillette. He might be an onfield DPS but he’s very strong even alone, including being able to heal himself. A one man army. Just need Raiden and Nahida now, thankfully I was able pick practically everyone on your list, with exception of Venti, which I don’t really need. For those in need of Kuki, she’s on banner now. Sniped one at low pity on Ayato’s banner. Totally worth it.
@@AbhishekSingh-nq4rh direct text of her c4: "When the Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks of the character affected by Shinobu's Grass Ring of Sanctification hit opponents, a Thundergrass Mark will land on the opponent's position and deal AoE Electro DMG based on 9.7% of Shinobu's Max HP. This effect can occur once every 5s." This constellation is ESPECIALLY good when using her with alhaitham, who will be normal, charged, and plunge attacking.
As a F2P playe, I got Arlecchino on my 5th wish. I had to change my entire comp just to enjoy this dps monster. No need to play around Amber/Lisa reactions anymore. XD
Very good guide! My only nitpick is that you didn't mention that Furina is best used in teams that are not based on transformative elemental reactions. Essentially, I think she was designed to buff all other teams that want a hydro off-fielder much more than she buffs e.g. hyperbloom.
as a new player (literally just 3 weeks today) who's struggling with chamber 3 of the spiral abyss so i cant get xiangling, bennett being in the clorinde/alhaitham banners was a LIFE SAVER to me. i mostly use kaeya as i dont have many characters yet and i like the freeze affect from hydro+cryo combos, and bennett makes farming for hoarfrost cores SO MUCH EASIER, especially bc having a better kaeya means its easier to farm for bennett's materials, and it makes a great cycle
Yep, this is one of my go-to's as well. Also love Zhongli for basically letting me play anyone who would normally get bounced around. Ganyu and Wanderer come to mind here.
@@kathycoleman4648 Zhongli definitely needed for a Ganyu team. Wanderer can dodge on his own imo, but my team relies on fully buffing Wanderer and dodging attacks.
As someone who apparently only has support units in their account (have not been playing for too long, my only 5 star is Jean) I'd say I should get a DPS or two so I can finally do some good damage. Raiden Shogun is still out for the next few days and I am close to hitting pity, so wish me luck! Also yes, I have always wanted Raiden. Don't worry about me wasting Primogems :p
C0 ayato is actually stupid useful, I looove him, mines still C0 as I’m ftp but gosh his hydro application is plenty, for my Ayaka freeze comp. But also great for gazer or vapes. Idk but personally I think he’s soo. Versatile and easy to build
I would had one last pick, Scaramouche, Not for content clearing but for traversal capabilities, It's god tier for exploration which is basically 85-90% of the game and it makes all the content so MUCH MORE enjoyable, the flight ability alone makes him so valuable. I would have never thought of this, I did a 10 pull just for fun on it's banner for a bet with my wife, and I got him. OMFG this is a transformative experience in term of comfyness to play this game.
The fact he's strong enough for a nearly solo hypercarry means you can slot in un-built characters to most of the rest of your overworld team to maximize your speed buffs. Get Gaming or Dehya in one slot for speed during day and/or Rosaria for speed during night, Sayu for anemo resonance and her skill and/or Xianyun for anemo resonance and her skill, bing bang boom you can finally zoom around and squish things that get in your way.
Something to add for Xingqui for newer players: He exploits the 3 hit icd rule with his rainswords coming down 3 at a time meaning he functionally doesn’t have any icd on his burst which is why he’s such a good hydro applicator
@@Zagreus248 it means internal cooldown. It basically just means how often a character can apply their element and cause a reaction. The rule is 3 hits or 2.5. Xiangling has no ICD on her burst so she applies a shit ton of pyro and Xingqui’s swords always hit 3-5 times so he will always be applying hydro with every hit
Yes, Xingqui hits 3 times and Yelan hits like 5 times each trigger. That's also what helps guarantee the element application. The repeated hits ensure the enemy is left with the hydro element for your main to react off.
@alexia3552 You should get loads more damage with Yelan that Xingqui. You probably don't have Yelan fully built yet. There is a reason Yelan is an SS Yoimiya team while Xingqui is only S. It's the same reason Arlecchino's team featured Yelan. Xingqui helps with knockback resistance, which is good when you don't have a shield. Yelan helps with extra dps, which is better when you do have a shield.
As a f2p I am sorry but I have to say this: Ganyu simply does not do enough damage at f2p levels for you to viably clear floor 12 with her anymore, so I would not recommend her. I do have her instead of ayaka but she is simply not strong enough for me to be able to clear content with her. Ayaka is better but I would honestly wait for a Cryo character that is better than both of them (or wriothesly because he is around the same) If you are a f2p starting now. If you are starting the game now, then I would say the best DPS character is Neuvillete as he works well in the Fontaine geared abyss, does a ton of damage, is easy to master, and works in a variety of teams. I would say the second best DPS for f2p currently is probably Alhaitham, however I would say that there is a greater chance of him getting outclassed sooner. He can also cover both moderate aoe and single target. His gameplay also requires more effort. But those are my recommendations as a current f2p who has been playing for only a year.
Shes probably the second best dealer that doesnt require any setup. For newer players, she is a godsent because her damage is unconditional and doesnt require any skill. she does tapers off at floor 11 or 12. Funny enough furina brought her back for me and pull ahead of ayaka since her burst has decent aoe. Missing ayaka burst just suck and with things being hard to CC it happens a lot.
I think Baizhu is worth a mention, not only can he drive on field dendro, buff dendro dmg, and heals a ton, in the comfort tier, he gives interuption resistance aswell, denfinitly a comfy character to use
@@oterogalvis It is specifically BECAUSE he doesn't take field time that he doesn't get his burst. Most times, even in double electro teams + fav user, he still needs >230% ER to get his burst off CD as a solo dendro unit, 250 if you want to be comfortable.
@@DeVoidAS not really, Favonious is only a good option on him if you get high crit rate in your artefacts substats, if you farm for him having good energy recharge in your sub stats you can have HP% in all your main stats and still burst, remember prototype amber refund a good amount of energy at R5. After I got baizu c1 I took away the PA R5 and put the TToD R5 and I still burst every rotation plus giving and ATK boost.
I wanna add a few characters you kinda glossed over: yaoyao/baizhu: both really good dendro applicators who work in teams where Nahida doesn't work. Nahida sometimes takes up a healer slot and she doesn't work well against waves of enemies (like in events), so baizhu and yaoyao work better in those situations. Baizhu has the advantage of having a long burst duration and yaoyao is really fun to play because you get to jump around a lot. Rosaria: off field cryo applicator and crit rate buffer, really good for melt and freeze teams, and also the niche physical builds at c6. she enables DPS characters like Ayaka to be played comfortably with like 15%cr meaning your artifacts can suck and the character will still be usable. Layla: probably the strongest 4★ shielder, and a moderately good cryo applier. I'm tempted to write Kaeya too because he's the original ice bridger, also has good off-field cryo application, and has a low skill cooldown so he can be a good battery, but idk for me he's just Rosaria - the crit buff.
kokomi could also have a support element thru the tenacity set and the thrilling tales of dragon slayers, allowing her to give a 68% attack buff to one character.
I would like to recommend another off-field electro character... Yae Miko. She just does insane amounts of damage on a full EM golden troupe build. Her ascension passive increases the damage of her Skill the more EM she has. And being an off-field character, she easily gets 75% skill damage buff provided by the golden troupe set. She ascends with crit rate, so building a good crit ratio is easy. Just give are a good Widsith weapon, 2 EM main stat artifacts, and a crit main stat artifact, then plug her in any kind of electro charged or aggravate team. You can even team her with Fischl or Raiden for a deadly dual electro combo. Fischl or Raiden would battery Yae Miko's burst, and Yae would trigger fischl's A4 passive. Then basically add a xingqui and a dendro traveller for a great f2p friendly electrocharged/aggrevate/hyperbloom team. You can put other units as well. Yae is especially very important for characters like Alhaithm or Tighnari for their aggrevate team. Even though her burst does lots of damage, you would honestly hardly ever need it. Her skill itself does so much damage.
Yeah I'm not spending another primo until either she or Alhaitham or Nahida come back (I will get all 3 of them regardless). Yae seems so god damn strong but, even if she wasn't, she's hot. That's enough for me
Hot take: After you manage to get 1 good dps and some supports. Just save all primogems until Yelan Banner and pull C6 R1 Yelan. Then you are set for well almost any boss unless they are resistant to hydro.
Had all 3 of them before AR20. Really great and versatile characters. Fits in nearly any team and are real good even in C0. ATM I use them in different combinations with Xianyun, Gaming and Fischl.
i rolled raiden, bennet, sara, chervuse at the same time and its hard to get them level up since i am not yet in inazuma or fontain LoL(except bennet yeah)
I feel like this video would be a great supplement to some other videos for beginners about teambuilding, especially within each element! For example, I find it difficult to build Dendro teams, even though they have the highest potential damage output, since you have to balance Elemental Mastery alongside Crit, Energy Recharge, and Elemental Damage Bonus stats, not to mention many of these characters have mixed scaling. As a result, I don't run Kuki or Nahida, two of your top picks. Freeze comps are also very powerful and much easier to build, which makes characters like Rosaria, Chongyun or Mona much more valuable for someone like me!
For me i would add: hutao or yoimiya for pyro dp ayato or childe or Niuvellete (one is simple to use, one is a bit more technical but rewarding, and the last one is well can solo the abbys if properly built) Baizhu for dendro healer/shielder
@@draxerk Not all.. Neuvillette doesn't even need teammates... I would argue that he is THE MOST versatile character in the game because you can play him with ANY 3 different element characters and he will be able to clear anything that isnt hydro immune.. A character that can help with interruption resistance would of course be great to have in his teams but its not necessary since you can just dodge backwards on most things..
I would say that Childe is technical, but the fastest hydro applier on-field which is why he is still very used for international teams rather than the other 2 hydro dps.
This is the by far the most accurate list I have seen, every new players should watch this video and get all the characters mentioned except the DPS section.
id highly recommend baizhu as both a comfort pick and just a overall great healer for dendro and in general! (unless you are using a melee pyro or kazuha and isnt too careful about sucking a ton of burning enemies in). healing the entire team to full with his skill and if you need even more healing just pop his ult! aswell as giving the character thats on field with the ult mostly crowd control immunity and immortality :P and he even heals the team if you pick up any materials and works perfectly fine with a free craftable weapon and just health % artifacts with energy recharge being the only substat to care for
The best part about Kuki (who's already a powerhouse at C0) is that her C2 extends her skill duration by 2 seconds, meaning its duration now matches its cooldown. Constant uptime on the most crucial part of her kit! It's such a crime that there's no way to guarantee C0 Kuki. I hope all Kuki wanters become Kuki havers ASAP!
Well, she's on the banner right now so it'd be a good time to try. If I had to say which one though, people should go for Ayato. He's hydro, and has both on field and off-field hydro application which is extremely valuable specially for freeze teams.
I'm so glad I got Kuki about half a year ago. She's been part of my Hyperbloom team since ... well since I've built the team. xD Right now, she's on C1. Could have pulled for her C2 but I wanna save for Raiden (guaranteed to get an on - banner 5 star since I lost the 50 : 50 on Neuvilettes banner) so I can't risk pulling on the current banner. Well, let's hope I get another copy of hers someday.
Kazuha is my game changer character. He made playing more enjoyable and the best investment i made since i can utilize him in all aspects of the game (abyss, bosses, domains, world exploration).
From a "i want to 36* the abyss" perspective if i could chose one character it would be Neuvillette. Yes he is just another dps and all that BUT he could very well be the most versatile character in the entire game because i can say with a very high degree of confidence that he can clear at least one side of abyss comfortably with ANY anemo character with VV, ANY interruption resistance (noelle, dehya, layla, zhongli, diona, xingqiu, etc.) and ANY character of a different element for the fourth slot, preferably a sub dps to add a little more damage to the team. He is just THAT broken... Yes there of course is his premium team of kazuha baizhu and furina but the difference is most if not all dps characters need their premium teams to clear abyss... He doesnt even need a TEAM let alone a premium one to do it. He should definitelly be on this must pull list.
I think recommending Yelan doesn't make sense for people aiming to be really primo efficient because she has less all-around utility than Xingqiu and he is much more accessible. She feels very much like a luxury to have and I'd only consider her for people who have diverse unit pools or really want her for waifu status. Instead, I think Ayato is a better recommendation. He is a seriously versatile character that can work in so many comps because of his great on- and off- field hydro application. On field, he has great aoe and doesn't take up a huge amount of time. Off field, his burst has great range and application of hydro alongside a buff for normal attacks for hyper carry support. Hes usable in such a variety of teams with a lot of other characters that makes him very high value, imo.
You started going through the criteria and I knew immediately my boy Childe wasn’t making this list. Thanks for this vid. I’m looking to get back into genshin and may need to update some teams
I know a lot have said not to pull for a 4-star on a banner with 5-star you don't want but I desperately want Kuki to complete my hyperbloom team (I alr have Nahida and XQ). so I just risked it all and I managed to get C1 Kuki. she is such a game changer for hyperbloom and clearing overworld content is now much easier. on top of that I also got C0 Kirara and my Xiangling is now C4 (arguably her best cons). now I'm on pity 40 with a guarantee and I can't wait to finally be a Raiden haver next patch 🤤 (I still have to grind up some primos tho but I still have lots of time) still what I did is not advised especially if you're saving up primos unless you want Cyno and/or Ayato
Ukw i wanted kuki but didn't risk getting current 5 star coz I'm at 70+ spins , i randomly pulled on standard banner with the free fates , c2 kuki 🙂 I started playing in 4.1
❄️Eula❄️ is A must have. Best character in all of Genshin she’s my Main and I have never got tired of her. Eula is a Walking Nuke for every hit you make it Stacks up her Nuke affect and Blast’s everything around her with Extreme Damage. Eula Also looks Amazing while Fighting she’s a Fighting Ballerina. for me there is no other character that looks Hot we’ll destroying there enemy’s. Eula is a Hard hitter she’s slowIsh on her hits but Hits hard and then stacks up her Nuke Affect thats basically a destroy all in 1 blow. ❄️Eula❄️ is a Must have. plus for me i love short hair female characters. 👍 Eula is a Claymore & ❄️Cryo❄️ Eula has the best element and Weapon B-F Sword.
Kuki Shinobu was the single biggest game changer for me. She straight carried my team for a long time, and is an asset to literally every team I’ve built.
Awesome video as usual, I will say I don't think Raiden belongs in this list anymore, she's still strong at either on-field and hyperbloom role, but they are too different of a build to call her flexible, and as you have mentioned, Kuki consolidates healing and hyperbloom trigger into one unit which lessens Raiden's value even more.
Nope, she still belongs on this list. Raiden does not heal, but she gives energy to the entire team with her burst (in addition to the high damage). And her skill increases the burst damage of everyone on the team.
I can't tell if you trolling or just don't play the game but Raiden definitely deserved to be on the list, perhaps even more than kuki.. Raiden is one of the only characters that can fit into all 3 playstyles in the game such as hypercarry, sub dps and support.. she's also super f2p friendly cuz emblem is already on strongbox, and the catch is her best and slot 4 star weapon for emblem raiden.. she's also one of the best (if not) the best character as a battery that provides so much energy to your team.. for hyperbloom raiden? Even more simple.. give her as much as EM on artifact sets that you have, give her EM weapon, level up her skill talent a little bit.. and boom you got yourself an amazing electro support with cheap build.. Now for kuki? Can she be built as hypercarry? No (ok technically you can but why, lol cuz there's definitely better options than her).. can she be a good battery? No.. can she perform as good without EM reactions teams? No.. can she perform as good other than hyperbloom? Not really.. and you also not guaranteed to get her cuz she's not appear in starglitter shop and at the same time she's a 4 star limited banner character that doesn't have a pity unlike raiden who's you can guarantee get at 180 pulls.. Another side note is that EM raiden only requires you to have EM while kuki needs EM and some HP for her overall value support.. So this is the conclusions: Fit for more roles: Raiden Team versatility: Raiden Build versatility (like artifacts and weapons): Raiden More f2p: both but I will still choose Raiden cuz she have more f2p options Futureproof: Raiden (cuz there's a chance that dendro not become meta for some times) Battery: Raiden (easily lol) Hypercarry: Raiden (not even close lol) Sub dps: Raiden (more damage, skill last longer) Support: Kuki (gives you healing) So yeah there you go.. I hope this comment can give you an understanding of why Raiden is better and deserved to be on the list.. don't get me wrong, kuki is amazing but in terms of who you should go for or like who has better overall must pull value? It's clearly Raiden
@@tzuzu5240 And here's another thing to further cement Raiden's value. Before dendro, electro was the 2nd worst element in the game (1st being geo). Until her release, Fischl was carrying the element, and even then people would prefer play her in physical comps instead. Then Raiden came out and she was good out of the box, a full fledged 5*. When Kuki came out? She was a 3*. She literally needed dendro to come out to become redeemable.
BTW neuvillette doesn't need a teem. He is the team! By that I mean you don't really need any support characters to make him work but still they will benefit him especially furina bec neuvillette hp manipulation can get the full furina buff at the last CA but you can get it earlier with c2 furina
ive been playing genshin for like 3-4 months now (on and off) and I've actually build a decent line up without watching build recommendation only starting watching them today. My team is Sucrose, XingQui, Shinobu, and Amber for that pyro and sometimes change her for Rosaria. The fact that I got them on different banners and on the first 10 pull is mind boggling. Next banner has Bennet hoping I get him so that I have a decent main dps.
for me personally i prefer nuevillette over furina for my team but every team is different(my team healer is shinobu lol) edit: my three mains are actually beidou, alhaitham(sometimes interchanged with tighnari now), and nuevillette since they surprisingly work very well together(my team is mostly self healing characters lo
Love your videos man. Started at the end of 3.4 (just in time to miss the lantern rite event) and followed your guide for account building. I agree with your takes, and I would also reconmend Neuvillette for people first onfield dps, great set, f2p weapon, range Aoe dmg on the move, self healing and since you are stacking hp its very hard to get 1 shot. Also he can be run with tons of characters.
Ive been searching for a video that will ACTUALLY show me what Raiden is like!! I initially wanted her solely for liking her character (well, mostly..), so this is so good to know!! Defo gonna try pulling for her now
I prefer it that way, if it weren’t a gacha game it probably wouldn’t have that much funds to back up the game and the game would prob be much less bigger than it is now
I was gonna save all my Primos for Raiden, but this vid made me do a ten pull for Kuki. Good news, got Kuki! Thankfully, I didn't hit my five star, cause I'm at 60 pity and I didn't want Cyno 😅.
I started playing Genshin 9 days ago. I did less than 100 pulls since then. Of the characters mentioned in this video I already have c1 bennett, c0 xingqui and c0 sucrose. The archon of RNG (Qiqi) must really love me.
Quite surprised there is no mention of Layla... 100% shield uptime, cryo resonance, off field cryo application (very minor). She can have a pretty decent shield strength and combines very well with a cryo dps for resonance boost. Works great at c0, needs no specific 5 star weapon, easy to play and requires no holding buttons for correct skill effect (like zhongli). Obviously, she will want a good high hp% artifact setup to boost that shield strength and she isnt as strong as zhongli in shield strength, but a budget friendlier option is still a welcome recommendation for f2p players! A nice example team would be: Ayaka, Layla, Raiden Shogun, Kuki Shinobu/Furina/Xingqou.
While Furina is awesome (I have her, I love her, I use her both in overworld and abyss), I don't think she should be on this list. In the beginning it was mentioned that these characters on the list will not require other characters to feel powerful and Furina is not a one person unit (unless you get higher constellations). You need a team wide healer with her. Currently, theres only one healer who does team wide healing with E, so if you have a teamwide healer who heals on Q and you miss a burst in one rotation, it not only puts you in a vulnerable state thanks to low hp, but also is a massive dps loss since you can't stack fanfare points without using HP as a resource. She also feels terrible to play when you're doing random overworld things because her pets drain hp for the silliest things. I can't count how many times I had to heal up my team inbetween runs so I don't die mid battle. In coop, I always fear seeing another furina because 4 person domain runs require some sort of synergy and if one of them is constantly draining health of otehr team members against overpowered mobs (as is the case for 4 person teams), you can get one shotted pretty easily. I always bring out my healer if someone else chooses Furina. She is not viable without a team wide healer and essentially takes up two spots in your team, and she will put you at the edge of your seat with the constant hp drain. There is a learning curve to her rotations and little wiggle room for making mistakes there. Her walking on water is literally awesome. Her healing capabilities are actually super good as well. She heals so much, you won't even need a healer if you use her in that mode (which you only should in case of emergency). I wish they added even a tiny bit of particle generation from it but I guess they would not be able to sell her constellations otherwise. So, in my personal opinion and experience, Furina is awesome, but she NEEDS a teamwide healer and is, by no means, a comfortable pick. She will keep you on your toes. (Again, personal opinion. Don't jump me. Furina simps, I'm one of you. I love her, thats why my f2p ass saved up and pulled for her as my first 5 star. I'm just sharing my experience.)
Yeah, tbh i've tried a few abyss 12 runs with her and a few combos and only baizhu could heal the team enough to keep rotations well timed and safe enough. Any battery and electro/dendro, it's a top tier team, but super expensive team. It's actually my safe team atm, it used to be Raiden national lol.
The pyro archon is going to be so broken to compete with Bennet and Xiangling. They would have to buff like crazy, no icd, and snapshot. I look forward to her simply because I hate using these two characters so much. I want alternatives to them because it has been three years I am fed up of them being in. 80% of the best teams. At least with xingqui we have yelan and now furina as alternatives
I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Xiangling. I try to play Diluc. My Xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Yoimiya. My Xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Cyno. My Xiangling deals more damage. I want to play Klee. Her best team has Xiangling. I want to play Raiden, Childe - they both want Xiangling. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world. I'm sorry, I can't help it lmao.
The thumbnail characters easily make up my favorite team by far. Benny with Instructor set; his C6 allowing Kuki to use all that EM for Burgeon as well alongside hyperbloom, it's just too good, about 1500-1600 worth of EM with all the buffs and stacks.
to me Eula is my favorite character in geshin she’s a physical character and hits like a truck and then her Nuke affects is just a toping in the cake. she’s so satisfying to play. And looks Amazing while fighting. It really makes me sad that people only want what’s popular or trending and not what actually makes the game fun its always the meta. For me thats the most boring way you can play a game. Its not fun knowing your going to defeat everything with Ease. for my Physical characters are the best to play you have to get close and properly make your attacks and it just makes it way more fun when you are taking a lot of enemies at the same time and then with Eulas nuke Affect it builds up and then blasts everything around me. Its so satisfying. me personally Physical characters are the best. it takes more skill to us Physical characters then Distance characters distance characters the abilitys do everything for you theres no skill in button mashing. Eula Best character in all of genshin She’s a Physical a Cyro her design is Gorgeous she’s really fun to play and looks good while destroying your enemies. ❄️
Ive played since basically right before liyue. You can not go wrong with zhongli or kokomi on any team. Best shield and best healer. Put any support, any dps with them.
I review this after 3 month, and man, Kazuha is really fun to play with him (not to mention that i like Samurais ) his swirls and plunge so powerfull Curent team i use is Benny, XL, XQ and Kazuha but also i have Hyperbloom Team, Nahida ( i got her at the end of last Banner) , XQ, Kuki and Layla or Kayea. Also i sometimes use team consisting of Furina, Benny, XL and Neuv..
I have to admit, Kuki at first when she first debuted in Inazuma, she wasn't very impressive due to her kit is all over the places with average stats... Not until Sumeru and Dendro came, she's now one of the main Electro in my team since she can both heal and trigger the bulbs to autohoming at enemies... It's super neat to have her with Alhaitham, Nahida and Xingqiu. But I missed Furina ... Need to stock up again until her rerun 😢
Totally agree i got a lucky c1 Raiden and thaugh no one could top her, but with sumeru my alheitham nahida kuki and yellan/xinqiu team is a must.I cant pas abyss with out using it now
@@sharkh3art tbh, she wasnt that bad as ppl were doomposting her to be when she released. She can use the tenacity set well. Her heal was fine. She had consistent electro that followed you around off-field without needing to reposition unlike fischl's if enemy moved away. Her raw dmg multipliers were meh but she's electro and electro transformative reactions dealt some good dmg namely electro-charge and overload with high EM. Pre-dendro, I built her hybrid with some hp and as much EM on tenacity set and she worked fine. I paired her with my eula and yelan so I can have raiden on the other side of abyss. After dendro, I gave her more EM and to my kokomi hyperbloom team and gave raiden back to eula. I pulled mainly for her on her release and accidentally got itto early at 24th pity. No regrets. Amazing design and skyrocketed to the top with dendro and hyperbloom.
I'm thinking Baizhu(for comfort tier due to his passive that buffs dendro reactions also his healing and interruption resistance utility shields) and Yoimiya,Ayato,Wanderer (on field dps-driver with no energy requirements)could make the list
@@Zodia195 nice ...glad Barbra got a buff thanks to Furina

And Cyno? That jackal god need to be in the list, because DPS there is many, nodoby need to pick the most popular top 5 DPS, choose that you like for element that you like and done!
You could argue that Neuvillette is a flexible pull because he deals damage and heals himself, being basically self sufficient. A rare main DPS who doesn't need supports to function well.
I love you mentioning the comfort tier lmao. I started playing in 1.0 and got Venti and Zhongli without spending a dime and they made everything easy with the grouping and shield even if my dps was mediocre. I was able to farm high lvl artifact domains without too much sweat just cuz of them
I don't know how much of a hot take this is, but I believe Neuvillette is an outlier in the 'On-field DPS' category. He's literally an entire team by himself; he can deal massive damage with massive range, he can heal, he's tanky AF because he scales with HP, building him is easy since Marechaussee is Blizzard Strayer without needing to freeze, not to mention his F2P weapon is insanely good on him. He's that good at C0, and even better at C1 and/or R1. BIG BONUS: He'll also tell you how each Archon tastes like.
this video give off the vibes of an MTG/YGO/TCG guide that tells of underrated budget cards that are good in paper and with the requirements especcially
I recently started a challenge account where I only use male characters and my friend only uses female characters. Now, I realize how much people take for granted certain characters - for instance, characters like collei (c2) and nahida are just generally the best off field supports.
This video (starting from the last version of it) is what changed the game for me. After that I stopped wasting my primogems and my account was way more efficient. Thank you so much for this work. Thats super helpful!
Man I returned to genshin in 4.2 (after 2.8) and furina banner was active with 12 days left I checked the information about her and found that she's the archon I immediately checked my primos and man I had enough to pull for her and I'm very happy 😁
I love team building. My current f2p setup is Dendro Traveler, Layla, Barbara, Raiden Shogun. I use them as a freeze hyperbloom team that solely focuses on massive amounts of energy recharge with all of them running 4 piece the exile sets. Basically guaranteeing someone has a burst and upon use is feeding energy to the other 3 characters. Shame the energy generation doesnt stack. Layla shields uses bursts which her burst is still in effect even when not on the field and applies cryo her shield is crazy you can always have it up unless it takes enough damage to break. Barbara heals and applies hydro hard to die when you have a healer you can spam between her skill and burst. Then the lynch pin is the dendro travelers burst i make sure to hit it with barbaras hydro so its AOE is huge and is constantly applying dendro. Then of course raiden comes in to hyperbloom the mess out of all the frozen enemies that have a scattering of dendro cores littered around them.
Honestly, baizhu is soo underrated. If you want a healer he is objectively the best. His biggest heal is on skill and heals the whole team to full. Even with furina and fighting rift hounds I finish every battle full health.

For Real kokomi is just for Dendro that is no hyperbloom
Through sheer luck I got bennet, the water dude xinxioa or something and sucrose at c2... I'm F2P and barely have any characters, but I got multiple copies of some of the very best somehow
Neuvillette should be in the hydro list insane damage insane heal insane range insane hydro application insane dps.what else he is missing only thing he is on field dps belive me he is one of the most powerful dps in the whole game.he doesn't need any constellation. U can replace c1 by other shielders.. Prototype works too much well for him for f2p and he only need his basic attack talent to be maxed and its totally insane..... Iam disappointed u didn't add him 😢😢
I think because of the overall theme of flexibility and support capabilities a character can provide for a new player, Neuvillette doesn’t really do anything for a new player besides being the on field main DPS on a team catered to him. He’s definitely insane with the damage but everyone else has some kind of support capability that makes them universally good for anyone to use them wherever, where as Neuvillette is all about his on field presence unlike someone like Furina with her off field skill or Yelan being a burst support damage dealer. Definitely deserved to be in the On Field Main DPS section of the video though 👍
@@dessam3939 bro u really think he cnt help newbies.I got him in my second acc also he is dealing 2-3k without even 4 star artifact and lv 40 with lv 40 prototype.
I pulled for neuvillette and after investing him he's just so broken that i was able to clear stages so easily(recently cleared floor 12) and with furina he turn into a monster also he's hydro so he is very flexible and can be use with other off field characters. He made me realise that why getting multiple characters if u can beat the game with 1 character.

Apparently Xilonen from the latest banner is being rated on par with Kazuha as a support C0 due to her elemental resistance shreds. What do you think about her being on the list since she can heal and synergies it’s so easily many elements/characters?
Nahh. She is overrated. She does good dmg but requires higher investment than cheap hyperbloom team. Her gameplay isn't easy especially for new players. ( And yeah i do have hu tao)
With regards to furina, she's so good against enemies that can be affected by hydro, but you could switch to the healing totem arkhe for enemies that are immune to hydro damage, allowing you to heal your main dps while it's on field. She's basically 2 characters in one. She's in every team comp of mine.

This is what I also do with my Burgeon team. It's surprisingly effective.
I feel like you should have mentionned Yaoyao as a budget-friendly dendro character that consolidates good dendro application and very high healing. Her constellations don't even bring much, so she's perfect at C0 !
Yeah yaoyao is awesome. We need more new 4 stars to be as good as she is.

Nope. Not fcking albedo

Very likely, as I would assume that Arlecchino will be a main dps
i think she'll be onfield, dunno why but i can't see her as an off-field, even if all archons till now are more off-field
@@Mr7sunaIt might be both, like Raiden being more sub-dps support and can be a decent main dps.

What a terrible waste of primogems
Or you can just observe it anyways, dying has 0 consequences, also TH-cam exists you know
I prefer Beidou for learning:
1. Parry mechanic tells you exactly when a hurt box occurs and even has a sound and screen shake to let you know if special effects are going all over the place so you can’t see the shield flicker
2. Weak shield (for constellation) and the interruption resistance lets you know what’s a big hit versus what’s a light tap
3. Still has damage reduction to avoid oneshot. If you are really just trying to watch enemy combos to the end without accidentally defeating the enemy, add a healer.
@@studiesinflux1304 Funny you should mention that... I'm watching Wallensteins Ch. on youtube right now, looking at his 1 HP runs, lmao
Thank you so much!

Hu Tao doesn’t really even need a healer if you use her burst at the right times (overworld)
Farina is not a must pull at c0
@@mordakie3805 She isnt a must pull in any cons.
@@islowclick idk if you can get c2 it’s pretty amazing …it definitely helps diversify teams you play
I wish I got him but damn I will get him next time
I love the dragon judge man.
As someone saving for Neuvilette, not only is he good, but i am also a biased simp.
@@Random_Hooman Good would be an understatement, he is straight up the best dps
saw some news saying he'll be in the 4.5 banner!!!
@@Random_Hoomanso did you get him this recent rerun or nah. if so are you gonna go for c1 or run a shielder
I rarely come across videos as perfect as this. It was an amazing watch. Thank you for making this.
I enjoy Neuvillette a lot.
Got her on c2, tryna get her C6 or C4 at least and you're very much correct about Mr Dolphin
Shinobu Supremacy!
@@MrJemoederopeenstokjwhat does c4 do? I got her to c4 trying to pull for ayato and loosing to Mona.
This effect can occur once every 5s."
This constellation is ESPECIALLY good when using her with alhaitham, who will be normal, charged, and plunge attacking.
me watching this video after i got xingqiu from a pull at adventure rank 10. *surprised*
As a F2P playe, I got Arlecchino on my 5th wish. I had to change my entire comp just to enjoy this dps monster. No need to play around Amber/Lisa reactions anymore. XD
That's incredible luck. 1.5% chance
Very good guide! My only nitpick is that you didn't mention that Furina is best used in teams that are not based on transformative elemental reactions. Essentially, I think she was designed to buff all other teams that want a hydro off-fielder much more than she buffs e.g. hyperbloom.
as a new player (literally just 3 weeks today) who's struggling with chamber 3 of the spiral abyss so i cant get xiangling, bennett being in the clorinde/alhaitham banners was a LIFE SAVER to me. i mostly use kaeya as i dont have many characters yet and i like the freeze affect from hydro+cryo combos, and bennett makes farming for hoarfrost cores SO MUCH EASIER, especially bc having a better kaeya means its easier to farm for bennett's materials, and it makes a great cycle
the way my zhongli and kokomi literally carry me through the entire game when everyone originally said they both sucked😍😍
I just got him on a low AR EU account and loving him. Can't wait to get to Inazuma to level him!
I won my 50/50 and he came home. So i will make a video for him specifically.
that's awesome, unfortunately my c0r2 ayato is immediately benched after he reached friendship lv 10 lol
He's THE most versatile character in the game for sure. He basically works in every situation that wants hydro except for on-field pyro DPSs
@@DeVoidAS Nah. That goes Furina. No dps is ever going to be more versatile then a support lol
Totally AGREEEEE
Does icd mean incoming damage?
@@Zagreus248 it means internal cooldown. It basically just means how often a character can apply their element and cause a reaction. The rule is 3 hits or 2.5. Xiangling has no ICD on her burst so she applies a shit ton of pyro and Xingqui’s swords always hit 3-5 times so he will always be applying hydro with every hit
Yes, Xingqui hits 3 times and Yelan hits like 5 times each trigger. That's also what helps guarantee the element application. The repeated hits ensure the enemy is left with the hydro element for your main to react off.
OH. Thank you, I did not understand why I was getting more damage with him + my Yoimiya vs Yelan + Yoimiya
Yeah, I was deeply disappointed he wasn't in the comfort segment.
He's comfy only if you can manage his high burst cost. Which is basically never lol
@@DeVoidAS well it's not that hard, and also he doesn't take field time.
I wanna add a few characters you kinda glossed over:
yaoyao/baizhu: both really good dendro applicators who work in teams where Nahida doesn't work.
A video about traps, but not the ones I expected 😉 At least you talked about Venti and Xingqiu
You forgot a really important point! It’s the most important, actually.
She’s hot.
@@tartaglia.Of course, that as well xD
Yes but WHEN IS SHE COMING:(
Yeah I'm not spending another primo until either she or Alhaitham or Nahida come back (I will get all 3 of them regardless). Yae seems so god damn strong but, even if she wasn't, she's hot. That's enough for me
@@nelumb000 realistically, not anytime soon. Probably near the end of 4.x. I hope I'm wrong cause I also want her
Hot take:
After you manage to get 1 good dps and some supports.
Just save all primogems until Yelan Banner and pull C6 R1 Yelan.
Then you are set for well almost any boss unless they are resistant to hydro.
c6 yelan isnt even top 3 c6s anymore
I got Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu before AR35, feeling pretty lucky as a new player
Wow nice!
Same
Had all 3 of them before AR20.
Really great and versatile characters. Fits in nearly any team and are real good even in C0.
ATM I use them in different combinations with Xianyun, Gaming and Fischl.
i rolled raiden, bennet, sara, chervuse at the same time and its hard to get them level up since i am not yet in inazuma or fontain LoL(except bennet yeah)
got xiangling and xingqiu, still looking for bennett but yes! they are the game's best supports. i love using them!!
For me i would add:
hutao or yoimiya for pyro dp
ayato or childe or Niuvellete (one is simple to use, one is a bit more technical but rewarding, and the last one is well can solo the abbys if properly built)
Baizhu for dendro healer/shielder
all of these characters need the characters listed in the video, that's why he didn't include
@@darkmaster4994 truuu
I would say that Childe is technical, but the fastest hydro applier on-field which is why he is still very used for international teams rather than the other 2 hydro dps.
@@darkmaster4994 It actually heavily depends. I have C0 Neuvilette and I literally still don't know which weapon to give him...
This is the by far the most accurate list I have seen, every new players should watch this video and get all the characters mentioned except the DPS section.
This is exactly the advice I would give any new player looking for who to pull. Excellent video.
id highly recommend baizhu as both a comfort pick and just a overall great healer for dendro and in general!
She's been part of my Hyperbloom team since ... well since I've built the team. xD
Right now, she's on C1. Could have pulled for her C2 but I wanna save for Raiden (guaranteed to get an on - banner 5 star since I lost the 50 : 50 on Neuvilettes banner) so I can't risk pulling on the current banner. Well, let's hope I get another copy of hers someday.
Me too. I was super lucky. Got her on a banner when I was level 20 I think@@roadrunner9332
Current banner I have C6 Kuki now 🤔😆 all because I wanted the pretty boy Ayato

I watched the whole thing, thanks for the awesome info! I'm glad I've got a good account filled with most of the characters you mentioned:)
Awesome!
So this is the conclusions:
Fit for more roles: Raiden
Team versatility: Raiden
Build versatility (like artifacts and weapons): Raiden
More f2p: both but I will still choose Raiden cuz she have more f2p options
Futureproof: Raiden (cuz there's a chance that dendro not become meta for some times)
Battery: Raiden (easily lol)
Hypercarry: Raiden (not even close lol)
Sub dps: Raiden (more damage, skill last longer)
Support: Kuki (gives you healing)
So yeah there you go..
@Sergmanny46 This is actually a good point cuz I never thought about that.. kuki needs dendro while electro (before) needs raiden lol
Raiden is definitely worse than Kuki or Fischl
So out of all of the characters mentioned here, I'm only missing Neuvillette and Ganyu
BTW neuvillette doesn't need a teem. He is the team! By that I mean you don't really need any support characters to make him work but still they will benefit him especially furina bec neuvillette hp manipulation can get the full furina buff at the last CA but you can get it earlier with c2 furina
Yeah basically lol
i play him lvl 90 with 3 lvl 20 that are different elemnets lol.
ive been playing genshin for like 3-4 months now (on and off) and I've actually build a decent line up without watching build recommendation only starting watching them today. My team is Sucrose, XingQui, Shinobu, and Amber for that pyro and sometimes change her for Rosaria. The fact that I got them on different banners and on the first 10 pull is mind boggling. Next banner has Bennet hoping I get him so that I have a decent main dps.
for me personally i prefer nuevillette over furina for my team but every team is different(my team healer is shinobu lol)
edit: my three mains are actually beidou, alhaitham(sometimes interchanged with tighnari now), and nuevillette since they surprisingly work very well together(my team is mostly self healing characters lo
I love this. I’ve always been so bad at grinding schedule, building and doing any damage.
Love your videos man.

I agree with your takes, and I would also reconmend Neuvillette for people first onfield dps, great set, f2p weapon, range Aoe dmg on the move, self healing and since you are stacking hp its very hard to get 1 shot.
Also he can be run with tons of characters.

At 60 pity, you are living rather dangerously. Great that you got Kuki, though.
You are rather brave for taking such risk

Quite surprised there is no mention of Layla... 100% shield uptime, cryo resonance, off field cryo application (very minor).
She can have a pretty decent shield strength and combines very well with a cryo dps for resonance boost.
Works great at c0, needs no specific 5 star weapon, easy to play and requires no holding buttons for correct skill effect (like zhongli).
Obviously, she will want a good high hp% artifact setup to boost that shield strength and she isnt as strong as zhongli in shield strength, but a budget friendlier option is still a welcome recommendation for f2p players!
A nice example team would be:
Ayaka, Layla, Raiden Shogun, Kuki Shinobu/Furina/Xingqou.
I am completely agree with you, she's awesome but not a must pull in any way imaginable
W opinion
Yeah, tbh i've tried a few abyss 12 runs with her and a few combos and only baizhu could heal the team enough to keep rotations well timed and safe enough. Any battery and electro/dendro, it's a top tier team, but super expensive team. It's actually my safe team atm, it used to be Raiden national lol.
You get Barbara for free. Barbara is a great healer for Furina, plus Hydro resonance ups her dmg. So you're wrong
I got kuki twice by accident on ayato's and cyno's banner! i didn't know she was so good! your vids are really helpful to new players, thanks shark
She was pretty bad when she debuted honestly. They built her to work with Dendro knowing it would release in the next region.
12:46 MUALANI THO SHES RLLY GOOD IF U ASK ME if u get the crit rate high she can one shot bosses (i infact once oneshot a boss with her😰)
i genuinly feel as if any anemo character is good with any team
Kaz, Ei, Nahida, and Yelan have never let me down
I'm thinking Baizhu(for comfort tier due to his passive that buffs dendro reactions also his healing and interruption resistance utility shields)
and Yoimiya,Ayato,Wanderer (on field dps-driver with no energy requirements)could make the list
Yeah I love Baizhu as a support unit. He's replaced Barbara as my main healer. I still use Barbara from time to time though.
@@Zodia195 nice ...glad Barbra got a buff thanks to Furina
And Cyno?
That jackal god need to be in the list, because DPS there is many, nodoby need to pick the most popular top 5 DPS, choose that you like for element that you like and done!
5:27 Lmao, Wanderer was named "Disappointment" on his video 😂
@@ANoobInvoidno wonder Ei abandoned him... Poor child
(DPS)Barbara, (Sub-DPS)Furina, (Support)Xingqiu, (Support)Yelan
You could argue that Neuvillette is a flexible pull because he deals damage and heals himself, being basically self sufficient. A rare main DPS who doesn't need supports to function well.
I love you mentioning the comfort tier lmao. I started playing in 1.0 and got Venti and Zhongli without spending a dime and they made everything easy with the grouping and shield even if my dps was mediocre. I was able to farm high lvl artifact domains without too much sweat just cuz of them
Can we get an update to this video... it's almost been a year
I don't know how much of a hot take this is, but I believe Neuvillette is an outlier in the 'On-field DPS' category.
Help not the Disappointment
this video give off the vibes of an MTG/YGO/TCG guide that tells of underrated budget cards that are good in paper and with the requirements especcially
Qiqi > My roster of characters.
True, The First 6 star Characters when you reach C6 💪💪
Bro i use Tighnari as my dendro he is just cracked you should include him in the list
Man I returned to genshin in 4.2 (after 2.8) and furina banner was active with 12 days left I checked the information about her and found that she's the archon I immediately checked my primos and man I had enough to pull for her and I'm very happy 😁
Amazing!
You won't be disappointed. With the right supports, she can make challenging content almost seem too easy.
@@Lennis01 yeah man. I don't have many good characters rn but I'm running her with xiangling Bennet and beidou
@@pulsegamer-pubgmobilelite1567 You can also swap Beidou with an anemo character to make everyone on the team hit harder when swirling hydro and pyro.
Ty for this video. Just started playing genshin yesterday and been looking for some beginner and f2p tips on characters.
Dang it's already 2024 where you are?
@@ajbrawlstars8844 true though I built alhaithm for 6 months but only dealing 8k. Damage per second but my man neuvillette dealing 28 k damage(with support) I only farmed for 2 weeks
@@Ashura32186 Then you are building him wrong. Alhaitham is the king of small numbers that melt everything away. There is a reason why he was the strongest carry before neuvillete.
this video title should be "In Spiral Abyss", not "in Genshin Impact". youtuber always put misleading titles. 😔
"In any game there are traps" Why did I instantly think of Venti... 😅
On the 1st time of Venti banner, he was not a trap. It’s all about powercreep that did.
Apparently Xilonen from the latest banner is being rated on par with Kazuha as a support C0 due to her elemental resistance shreds. What do you think about her being on the list since she can heal and synergies it’s so easily many elements/characters?
Hu Tao should be in the ON FIELD damage dealers, since she has been consistently really strong.
yeh, you can even play her with dragons bane
Nahh. She is overrated. She does good dmg but requires higher investment than cheap hyperbloom team. Her gameplay isn't easy especially for new players. ( And yeah i do have hu tao)
Nah. Hu Tao fell off
With regards to furina, she's so good against enemies that can be affected by hydro, but you could switch to the healing totem arkhe for enemies that are immune to hydro damage, allowing you to heal your main dps while it's on field. She's basically 2 characters in one. She's in every team comp of mine.
(cries in main dps is hydro catalyst)
