My Mortefi deals more damage. I want to play Jiyan. His best team has Mortefi. I want to play Rover, Danjin. They both want Mortefi. He grabs me by the throat. I farm Echoes for him. I grind for him. I give him Pistols#26. He isn't satisfied. I buy Thunderbolt. "I need more buffs", he tells me. "Give me more field time." He grabs and Verina and forces her to throw herself off enemies. "You just need to buff me more. I can deal more damage with Static Mist." I can't pull for Static Mist. I don't have enough Astrite. He grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." He grabs his guns. He says "Silence!" There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure coordinated attack fusion damage. What a cruel world.

Been playing WuWa non-stop for 8 hours and it’s been so fun. Everything is so smooth and easily adaptable. The Echoes is my favorite aspect of WuWa and it’s been really satisfying “catching em all”. Also, I love that Rover (MC) is already a strong character you can invest in early on.

some of these tips are super great but we really do not need to rush ourselves in getting through the game. it came out yesterday and has a limited amount of content as its not even in v 1.1 yet. What are you going to do when you finish everything and have to wait two weeks for even less new content? take your time and enjoy the game. there is no rush to progress your account or get better if youre a casual player just looking to not fuck up something important.
Play something else, casually doing your dailies like with every single gacha in existence. How about not trying to dictate how others play the game just to make yourself feel better?

Thank you for the last part !! I always played Genshin even if I was burned out, just bc I was anxious i could fall behind and dont get meta characters etc. Instead of just playing and having fun. Thats what i try with WUWA now, just play.
@@tevinmuwanei7590genshin also had endgame content in 1.0 it was the spiral abyss which in the past actually use to be pretty hard becuz ppl didnt know how to use characters yet and becuz there werent super overpowered characters yet (and the ones that were overpowered people didnt understand how to use yet) genshins problem is it never made the spiral abyss into anything more as it has remained the same since 1.0 and they never made any other different type of endgame content even after spiral abyss became easy and tedious because now characters are understood better and a lot stronger

Baizhi was my MVP when I fought Scar for the second time. I didn't think the difficulty would rise this much after solving the puzzle and I had to fight him again, so my other 2 characters were wiped out and only she remained. It took me half an hour of attack mashing, using her skill and barely saving myself using her ultimate but I beat him! Way to go, giant floating slug!
I know right. I’m a console player and I was excited to attempt at being a keyboard user but I don’t want finger arthritis at 30 so I used my ps5 controller on my laptop. Only going to play casually until it comes on PlayStation lol
I was lucky to get verina danjin and sanhua early game. My main dps are female rover danjin sanhua, weapons are very important in this game. An early emerald Genesis can make a sword dps op. Good luck and enjoy wuwa 👍

Yea the games good, copies Genshin’s homework in all the right ways. Only downside for me is the world setting fantasy. It feels more like a generic Chinese MMO setting versus Genshin’s otherworldly & unique fantasy.

The best thing in Wuthering Waves is that the MC is really good. And both elements apparently. Upgrading the guidebook fully helps you unlock Spectro S4 and Havoc Rover S2. And both are actually good. I have reached Data Bank 20. But I have to raise Sol level to get data bank rewards lvl 19 & 20. So happy grinding everyone

TBH I liked this more than the "other game" because this game is just different frmt the other. It has dark theme which I loved to see.And as a lore junkie rn it has not much things but rn it is in the begining of the journey. Zyox would love to see you not benching the whole game after sometime :) because I think this game is more interesting..

Glad you got paid mr. Socks but this game is complete ass. Main culprits: incomprehensible story, bland music, bugs, world feels generic. But most of all, the friggin VOICE ACTING, OMG. IT'S TEEEERRIBLE.
I don’t think the voice acting is the fault of the voice actors but more so a lack of direction because Jesus the tone of some of these lines does not match the context of the scenes at all.
The voice acting is my only issue, and I'm someone who's never had issues with voice acting EVER. The way they talk in such a monotonous manner makes them sound like robots, otherwise though I think it's a great game.
If youve played Genshin Impact, you will automatically know all the basics. Its literally identical down to the UI and even Icons. Even the short keys are exactly the same so you can move and act as if you played the game for 4 years even tho its been 4 minutes since you created your account. I laughed out loud when I noticed that even the map is almost a perfect 1 to 1 replica of Genshins starter area. You run straight forward, fight a mob, unlock a waypoint, go up a path between two cliffs to a low wall saying you have to climb to proceed, once you climb up the path continues in a slight right hand curve with a small pool of water on your left, you reach a cliff and the camera pans out showing a vast green landscape covered in tree and at the horizon there is a city with a central spire. 🤣🤣🤣 The only thing missing was that the pool didnt have a waterfall. It might sound like Im complaining, Im not really. It was actually a very comfortable way to start for someone who played Genshin as there is literally no learning curve at all. If they kept literally copy/pasting Genshin indefinitely, that wouldve been an issue. But luckily, they dont. Its just that first part up to "Pride Rock". After that the map is different, the towns look very different etc etc. The graphics and controls still gives if a whole lot of Genshin vibes (If you think Genshin borrowed alot from BotW, you better strap in, cuz this is orders of magnitude more similar) They have made crusial differences tho and they have been *_very_* clever about *_where_* Its strategical, bo doubt, to make itbas familiar as possible for Genshin players without feeling like youre playing Genshin. Its kinda like playing Final Fantasy 7, then Final Fantasy 9. Its OBVIOUSLY in the same game series, no one with two brain cells to rub togheather could even miss that. But they equally obviously NOT the same game. Had I tested this game blind, without knowing the title, and someone told me "This is Genshin Impact 2" I wouldnt even habe considered that they could be lying I wouldve 100% believed them at face value. Genshin is a great game. Why would you NOT try to emulate it to some degree? I know there are alot of entitled, greedy, narcissistic kids out there crying about not getting enough free stuff or that there is not end game content in Genshin. To them I'll just say please gtfo. Mihoyo ows you *_nothing._* They made of of the best games in probably a decade and *_gave it to you for free..._* They made paying *_optional._* If anything, *_you owe them._* As for end game content, yea its a bummer but Genshin is fundamentally a single player, story driven RPG. This means there is no pvp, np guild wars, not charts and when the story eventually ends, thats it. This is how most single player games have been made since the dawn of time. Final Fantasy 7 is one of THE most loved games in history. Have anyone ever heard someone whining that there is no end game content after you kill Sephiroth? No, cuz everyone understood the concept of a single player, story driven game. And they had to *_pay_* 70 bucks (in the 90s) to play that game, beating it, and having no end game content. So, please... Stop blaming the developer because *_you_* dont have common sense. Genshin *_IS_* a great game, its a phenomenal actually in pretty much every aspect. *Even their Gacha* is the absolute least predatory Gacha Ive ever seen. Not ONCE in the entire game are you ever forced to spend a single dime. You can play the game from start to finish and have the exact same experience as if you were a lower mid tier spender. They dont push pop ups in your face every time you switch menues. As Genshin is as great as it is ut doesnt make me mad when other games take heavy inspiration from it. We need MORE of these good aspect in games, ignoring phenomenal systems and mechaics just to be original will rarely turn out a good product. Take all the good aspects and be original in places where it doesnt make the game lose quality. You need to be your own game. As long as you are, as long as youre clearly making it different enough to distinguish itself from the IP they borrow from, go ahead. Copy as many good ideas as possible.
im so happy we dont have to use waveplates to get echos, it feels like building characters is more about planning and prefarming materials for leveling them and their weapon rather than rolling endless RNG just to get 1% more damage EDIT: also i love the fact you dont have to worry about who you use, because the game is skill based and not meta reliant.
Best advice for this game, dont rush as every youtuber said, no point to get max lvl and quest as fast as u can, bc there no cap content at all. Just play in your own tempo, there no pvp where u should to be on TOP, quiet enough just to make some side quests, open some treasure and if u should to leave - do it, this is not job where u should to stay and make EVERYTHING bc u will be outside if u didint do it. This game for fun, do whatever u want, this game is a marathon, not sprint. Chill and dont listen such clowns youtuber as this one who plays casual gacha game like this is a cybersport.
For weapons, can I upgrade the blue weapon i am using right now until i get something better? basically not maxing it all the way, but at least to some extent. Also, maybe just a rough gauge on usually how high you upgrade "trash" weapons to if it's possible..
If it helps, I know I'm not an expert, but not Sephiroth and Nahida from wish, seem like really good choices you can get both free. If you want green Zhongli I would spend some pulls on him to try new player luck, and the 4 stars are good as well, but do save for Red Kafka imo, which goes well with totally not Sephiroth. I'm really liking the game so far, and you get two 5 stars instantly (one random though), as it's only 80 pulls for the other selectable 5 star, in comparison to Honkai's 300, and Genshin's Noelle.... Also I feel you progress quite well early, and can even cheese way higher echos using gunslinger Amber. P.S. I won't pull Nahida from wish cause her drip sucks, but she is good.

If youve played Genshin Impact, you will automatically know all the basics.
Its literally identical down to the UI and even Icons.
Even the short keys are exactly the same so you can move and act as if you played the game for 4 years even tho its been 4 minutes since you created your account.
I laughed out loud when I noticed that even the map is almost a perfect 1 to 1 replica of Genshins starter area.
You run straight forward, fight a mob, unlock a waypoint, go up a path between two cliffs to a low wall saying you have to climb to proceed, once you climb up the path continues in a slight right hand curve with a small pool of water on your left, you reach a cliff and the camera pans out showing a vast green landscape covered in tree and at the horizon there is a city with a central spire.

The only thing missing was that the pool didnt have a waterfall.
It might sound like Im complaining, Im not really.
It was actually a very comfortable way to start for someone who played Genshin as there is literally no learning curve at all.
If they kept literally copy/pasting Genshin indefinitely, that wouldve been an issue.
But luckily, they dont.
Its just that first part up to "Pride Rock".
After that the map is different, the towns look very different etc etc.
The graphics and controls still gives if a whole lot of Genshin vibes (If you think Genshin borrowed alot from BotW, you better strap in, cuz this is orders of magnitude more similar)
They have made crusial differences tho and they have been *_very_* clever about *_where_*
Its strategical, bo doubt, to make itbas familiar as possible for Genshin players without feeling like youre playing Genshin.
Its kinda like playing Final Fantasy 7, then Final Fantasy 9.
Its OBVIOUSLY in the same game series, no one with two brain cells to rub togheather could even miss that.
But they equally obviously NOT the same game.
Had I tested this game blind, without knowing the title, and someone told me "This is Genshin Impact 2" I wouldnt even habe considered that they could be lying I wouldve 100% believed them at face value.
Genshin is a great game.
Why would you NOT try to emulate it to some degree?
I know there are alot of entitled, greedy, narcissistic kids out there crying about not getting enough free stuff or that there is not end game content in Genshin.
To them I'll just say please gtfo.
Mihoyo ows you *_nothing._*
They made of of the best games in probably a decade and *_gave it to you for free..._*
They made paying *_optional._*
If anything, *_you owe them._*
As for end game content, yea its a bummer but Genshin is fundamentally a single player, story driven RPG.
This means there is no pvp, np guild wars, not charts and when the story eventually ends, thats it.
This is how most single player games have been made since the dawn of time.
Final Fantasy 7 is one of THE most loved games in history.
Have anyone ever heard someone whining that there is no end game content after you kill Sephiroth?
No, cuz everyone understood the concept of a single player, story driven game.
And they had to *_pay_* 70 bucks (in the 90s) to play that game, beating it, and having no end game content.
So, please...
Stop blaming the developer because *_you_* dont have common sense.
Genshin *_IS_* a great game, its a phenomenal actually in pretty much every aspect.
*Even their Gacha* is the absolute least predatory Gacha Ive ever seen.
Not ONCE in the entire game are you ever forced to spend a single dime.
You can play the game from start to finish and have the exact same experience as if you were a lower mid tier spender.
They dont push pop ups in your face every time you switch menues.
As Genshin is as great as it is ut doesnt make me mad when other games take heavy inspiration from it.
We need MORE of these good aspect in games, ignoring phenomenal systems and mechaics just to be original will rarely turn out a good product.
Take all the good aspects and be original in places where it doesnt make the game lose quality.
You need to be your own game.
As long as you are, as long as youre clearly making it different enough to distinguish itself from the IP they borrow from, go ahead.
Copy as many good ideas as possible.
No need for all that just have fun your own way. Its not genshin impact so have fun. And no impact

im so happy we dont have to use waveplates to get echos, it feels like building characters is more about planning and prefarming materials for leveling them and their weapon rather than rolling endless RNG just to get 1% more damage
EDIT: also i love the fact you dont have to worry about who you use, because the game is skill based and not meta reliant.
Best advice for this game, dont rush as every youtuber said, no point to get max lvl and quest as fast as u can, bc there no cap content at all. Just play in your own tempo, there no pvp where u should to be on TOP, quiet enough just to make some side quests, open some treasure and if u should to leave - do it, this is not job where u should to stay and make EVERYTHING bc u will be outside if u didint do it. This game for fun, do whatever u want, this game is a marathon, not sprint. Chill and dont listen such clowns youtuber as this one who plays casual gacha game like this is a cybersport.
The only character I'll ever want in this game is Jiyan because he so cool :)

For weapons, can I upgrade the blue weapon i am using right now until i get something better? basically not maxing it all the way, but at least to some extent. Also, maybe just a rough gauge on usually how high you upgrade "trash" weapons to if it's possible..

When my friend recommends games. First Genshin -> ToF -> Honkai Star Rail -> Wuthering Waves. Open world RPG games are very interesting🔥🔥🔥.
I like that you can fight high level echos out in the World, had fought a level 80 echo at level 20 and ended up using him to one shot most echoes.

If it helps, I know I'm not an expert, but not Sephiroth and Nahida from wish, seem like really good choices you can get both free. If you want green Zhongli I would spend some pulls on him to try new player luck, and the 4 stars are good as well, but do save for Red Kafka imo, which goes well with totally not Sephiroth. I'm really liking the game so far, and you get two 5 stars instantly (one random though), as it's only 80 pulls for the other selectable 5 star, in comparison to Honkai's 300, and Genshin's Noelle.... Also I feel you progress quite well early, and can even cheese way higher echos using gunslinger Amber.
P.S. I won't pull Nahida from wish cause her drip sucks, but she is good.
