- My very first FOOD VLOG is alive!! I'm half nervous, half hungry, half excited, and half exhausted from editing, but it's finally here. Barrel and Ashes is definitely the go-to BBQ spot in San Fernando Valley, so if you live close by make sure you check them out and let em know that Byron sent you! I don't get anything from it, but I'm assuming that the more food establishments know about me the more they will be willing to have me in their "backstage areas" for some chef talk and then you can see what really goes on. I'm 100% taking requests to visit different locations, so let me know some of the places the you guys are interested in checking out and I'll be there!!! ALSO, let me know what you think of all of this and if this is something that you'd like to continue to see.. This will NOT be replacing my video recipes by any means, but is just an expansion into another world of food that I love.

Also, may I make a request for a Paleo-style meal? I have an autoimmune disease and I am currently eating an AIP (autoimmune protocol) diet, which is similar to Paleo, but with more restrictions. I'd love to see your take on foods for those of us who are forced to eat a restricted diet as we try to heal our bodies. I know it's not for everyone, so I understand if it's not something you're interested in doing. I enjoy your videos even if I can't eat the food you're preparing.
