Im really looking forward to this. Gyro aiming is something that really should be in every PS5 shooter game considering the Dualsense supports motion aiming, but until devs start putting it every game this controller looks like something I’m going to be using in everything!

Motion aiming has been around for decades, and in 2015 it was brought to steam and Nintendo, it's not futuristic, just not utilized like it should be

Will the thumbsticks have the ability to use custom curves for linear and expo look mechanics?(Similar to Ds4windows)
Hey, im not familiar with the DS4Windows curves but you can use any curve that you want to and unlike how other controllers do it your curve adjustments will not be layered on top of the existing curve coming from the game itself. So what you edit in the curve generator will also 100% be what you experience in the game, with nothing else influencing it! :)
So is this the new "xim" device that you mentioned earlier this year, or is there going to be something new for MNK input/translator?
Yes thats the new device, XIM Apex will continue to be the mouse and keyboard adapter of the XIM Company.

Yes this is currently being looked into!
I will say I’m genuinely surprised at the overall response to this. Most people hate “motion controls” and associate it with Wii remote waggling.
Hope this becomes successful so gyro can be a standard for everything. Maybe console players getting dunked on by gyro users will spark the interest in this stuff.

And also which one is the better choice if you want to get kills easier in games like R6 and warzone? Thanks.
For normal console recoil id say Nexus is better. For very very complex and advanced recoil (apex legends) its a tie id say. Easier kills depends on what you feel more comfortable with, a mouse or a controller. With that device you will automatically perform better ingame then :).
How are turning speeds with motion aiming for more fast paced closed quarted movement?
What I meant is if the stick sensitivity (turning speed) is seperate from the motion aiming sensitivity?
Yes the stick sensitivity and motion aim sensitivity can be adjusted independently! Turning is excellent too because of that! :)

Any changes in sensitivity or are you just using a default sensitivity?
In this video i use my normal motion sensitivity which is a bit higher than the default sensitivity! :)
Can Nexus be used with Xim Apex or is it just a controller you play with?
Nexus is its own product and doesnt require the XIM Apex, so it is its own controller :).
I have really bad input lag on my controller and I don't have a mouse but if I use the xim apex on 1000hz will that help with input lag for my controller?
Yes it will but the lag could also come from something else such as your monitor or TV. Normal console controllers have a delay of 4 milliseconds which is not really noticeable, so if its a big delay that you have then its probably something else.

Yes exactly, you arent required to actually aim with the gyro so you can use it for other things too such as recoil control.
So I'm wrong in thinking if you hold say the motion aim to the left it will continue to spin to the left till controller is re-centred and vice-versa verse ?
Yes that is wrong, motion works like a mouse in that way. The moment you stop turning the controller the crosshair will stop. If you would like to see a feature being added to the controller that does what you just described then that is a possibility too.

Where can I get replacement parts? Both my lb rb are broken and the silicone pad for the abxy buttons is torn. Also my mic jack stopped working

Would you say this is as accurate as using a mouse/ with the xim apex?
Tracking targets is actually easier, flicking more difficult though. With enough practice both will be similarly good, but i could see each of them keeping minor advantages in certain areas.
Everyone can control the recoil 2 m from a wall. Should have done this test from at least 10 or 15 meters that's where most gunfights take place.
Yes but at that distance it will be difficult to see the bullet holes without zooming in or walking to the wall, which slows down the whole video way too much.

It's a good video anyway but I would like to know how hard or easy it is to control from that distance. I'm thinking of buying this controller.. is there a Playstation layout for it?
@@R6SavageGGEz Distance was chosen due to most viewers watching from phones, the small screens make it difficult to otherwise see the difference. On distance recoil control is similarly easy, i didnt notice much of a difference when i first recorded clips on longer ranges. There wont be a physical playstation layout on release, but if there is enough demand expressed in the XIM Forum something like that could come later down the line.

The release date will be disclosed in the upcoming weeks. Yes you can fully setup your Nexus controller via a phone app, which is very similar to how the XIM Apex can be configured :).

Excited to try the Nexus! Beginner question.. Is a ballistic curve better than using something like a Cronus Zen / Titan Two? I love the smoothness of my Apex on Xbox, but I'd like to gain the laser beam accuracy. Suggestions?
Hey, ballistic curves on Nexus work the same way as on XIM Apex. If you havent tried ballistic curves on XIM Apex yet then i can highly recommend that to you! :) Curves allow you to change how your mouse/Nexus controller behaves, its a great tool to customize the aiming to your personal preferences.

@@cheeto8481 Hey, curves are personal perference so the best courve would differ from person to person. Id say try a few for 1-2 games each and stick to the one you liked the most! :)

Hey, the XIM Nexus runs on the same delay as all other console controllers. After launch there will also be a 1000hz mode via a firmware update which will be faster than normal controllers.

Will the Nexus work with the PS5? Because many developer block third party controllers.
There are a few potential solutions for this but we have to see how they pan out in the next few weeks.

Thats not a problem of the XIM but of the Cronus, they have to update the Cronus.

XIM Devs are looking into it, for now either use Remote Play for the PS5 version or stick to the PS4 version with your XIM :).

Hey, Nexus and Apex are two completely different products. So if you talk about using mouse and keyboard then Nexus wont allow you to achieve that as it is its own controller.

This friend controls the mouse with his feet and plays the game with the ring finger of his left hand holding a small keyboard

No news yet, when there are any ill make an update on TH-cam. For now either use remote play or go for the ps4 version.
Awesome video made... can't wait to get it, now i don't need xim apex for mkb anymore i cant remember all keybind my muscles memory is bad....for example in apex legends game...at the bottom of screen it shows you which button to press for the ability but i set to to some alphabet in my keyboard that I can't remember after few days i need to get a paper or something infront of me or the app lol to remember the keybind... having all keys right in your hand on a controller is nice...i definitely need this....why couldn't Xbox or PS5 figure this out ..shame on them.

Id suggest you to not sell your Apex right now but wait another week or two. There is currently no stock left and it may take a while before new stock arrives, so prices for used XIMs will increase a bit over the next weeks. You could actually break even with the price you payed for it.

Did you figure out if your competitor figured out a ps5 knm fix?
Their solution wasnt different to the one the XIM Apex currently uses, so it didnt solve the issue. However a company recently came up with an adapter that could solve this, this will take a few more weeks though before they have a prototype ready that can be tested.

A cool feature for this would be recoil control like the trick u can do with the xim where it does fully take away recoil but it help or even if there is a full recoil control that would still be good

The Steam Controller is its own controller and has no connection to the XIM Nexus.
If you have a PC then you can use the Steam Controller on games like Rainbow Six if that's what you're asking

@@Hectorrodriguez-og1ny Oh i see, well year sure but you either have to reduce it by tilting the controller (as done in this video) or by using the stick. The controller has no functionality to do that automatically for you, which is what the Zen does with a script.

Hey, use attachments such as the flash hider and train to move the mouse down at the right moment. Alternatively try one of my two anti recoil config video tricks.

Nice video, but what about showing us controlling recoil and tracking at the same time. It's great that you're showing us that recoil control looks easy but how often does a person stand still? They would most likely be moving when getting shot at.
How would i do that though, in RB6 1 bullet is all you need and the sparring partner i would get for that would just die with the first bullet (or 2-3 if i go for body hits). I would need to find a different game with strong weapon recoil that has fairly low killtimes to show of tracking while compensating recoil :/.
@@XIMCentral PUBG maybe? There's a Team death match mode you can hop on.
@@r3mixdaxim3r Isnt PUBG quite similar to RB6 in terms of bullets to kill? 1-2 body hits or a headshot usually. Im not sure how well i could show that in such a game. Either way i just uploaded an Apex Legends clip which exactly shows what you want to see, the killtime in Apex Legends is quite slow and you usually need a full magazine. It will be unlocked in a few days! :)

I think it does, but given how Nexus has Smart Actions with the new beta firmware you dont need a strikepack anymore. You can now implement any strikepack feature through Smart Actions :).

@@nini0935 Hey, your Nexus controller firmware can only be updated through a PC or Mac. Right now there is no other way to do it.

Hey, wenn du dein XIM Nexus startest dann läuft es zunächst im Classic Mode, in welchem Motion deaktiviert ist. Drücke die beiden Hoch/Runter Tastes gleichzeitig um diesen Modus zu verlassen, dein XIM Controller zeigt dann statt weiß eine andere Farbe an. Danach kannst du die Motion Aktivierung über deinen XIM Nexus Controller innerhalb der Config anpassen. Die Standardaktivierung ist über die Taste in der Mitte des Controllers.

It’s only been two days since I got my nexus. I thought I still had a while before I felt better on gyro than regular controller. Apparently I’m better because I’m beating people ranked higher than usual in mw. It still doesn’t feel completely natural but good lord… also, turning aim assist off is better for gyro. Don’t know why but it is
Happy to hear that man! The time to master gyro aiming is much shorter than with controller sticks, so you get to see improvements much quicker!

Hey, this is a XIM Nexus video so with a XIM Apex it would indeed be different. For XIM Apex you can use one of my two Anti Recoil videos, both work very well with Rainbow Six and will give you similar results as shown in this video.
The concept of aiming by moving a controller seems alien to those MnK players. For those who have horrible aim with controllers, how easy will it be to switch from MnK to Nexus?
Its really really fast, took maybe 20 minutes to dial in the motion settings and get used to it. Its very compareable to picking up a mouse for the first time.

The hardware of XIM Apex is so good that it doesnt need an update, so a new XIM hardware product would add nothing since its all software based. So if you want new XIM features just suggest them in the XIM Feedback Forum and they might be added with future firmware versions :).

Recoil form 2m is easy u can doit even without any device only with the controller. You should go shooting range and try from 10-30m lets see then how the recoil is. Thats what you are doing dosent make any sense but its okay nice to see the features but from 2m anyone can control the recoil sry
