@XIMCentral It didn't switch groups correctly (at all). Then I added my hip recoil config to one of the groups. Then it would switch between that and one of the others. Anyway i struggle with setting up groups.
@XIMCentral now it's working as in the video. But in warzone it's the same button for switching weapons as for applying armor plates. So now if I use this config I'm not able to put on plates😢
@@ShrekThePimp Hey, just bind a new button that also has the "switch weapon" functionality. That one will be used for armour plates then. So you have one button for actual weapon switching + your groups, and one for armour plates.
as a PS5 player who loved the Xim Apex, I am so excited for the Xim Matrix. I wonder if it will be programable through an app or not

When you are firing while moving or looking around with the analog sticks, does recoil control from the smart translator affect your hip or ads sensitivity? Does the recoil control affect your aim or movements, is what I’m trying to say.
It doesnt affect you in any possible way. Nexus and Matrix are the only devices that can do this, with all other devices on the market you can suffer from what you just described.

Yes thats possible, but it honestly wouldnt look much different to normal console gameplay.
Can you please test/suggest what values for the new advanced controller settings we should be running for R6. They just brought new advanced controller settings that you can adjust hip and ads acceleration, delay, threshold, etc values. Thank you.

Is it possible to set the exact anti-recoil in fractions of seconds? For example, if you want to set a different recoil for each shot, how do you set it? Also, is it possible to set a macro that stops the action after each shot?

Quick question, in destiny 2 you have a primary weapon and you hit your swap weapon button to go to your secondary weapon but you hold down your swap weapon button to pull out your heavy weapon.
With the primary and secondary toggle group, how am I able to get to my heavy weapon?
I would bind a second button that you exclusively use for the heavy weapon. You could even bind it in a way that when pressed, will hold the button long enough to switch to the heavy weapon.
even with xim nexus manager, no longer has the slider for trigger percentage, and when I click smart action manager nothing shows up
You must select a "trigger percentage" binding. If you select the normal analog trigger binding then those options wont appear.
I have a question, there are over 48 operators in E6, they all have different weapons and other recoil, how should you set this up for each individual weapon?
Hey, whats E6? See my Matrix Group tutorial video on how to do it via groups (works also for Nexus) or you use dedicated configs for each loadout.

In that case please check your group switcher, something must be off there. Maybe you have both set to activate there.

Hey, that is sadly not possible as most mice restrict this access and can only be configured through their PC driver :(.

Could a xim 4 still work as good as the xim apex, I’ve used the cronus zen for mnk some time since my xim apex broke and the zen mnk doesn’t feel as good as the xim apex and I’ve been looking for something to use in the meantime.
Yes i would absolutly recommend to get a used XIM4 over a XIM Apex at the moment. It is much cheaper, still very good, and lets you gap the time until XIM Matrix is out (if you are interested in it of course). Even if not, XIM4 still holds up very well and gets support for all new game releases!

In a game like apex legends where the recoils follow a pattern rather than a specific angle , is it possible to make an anti recoil setting for it? For example a gun in apex legends can have a recoil that goes diagonally to the upper right but then after a certain time the recoil will shift, moving to the left. Can the xim nexus change the anti recoil direction while shooting ?

So far working great! One problem. When you pull out a grenade and want to cancel the throw, you push y to switch back to your gun and obviously this messes up the groups. Is there a way to fix it?
Either setup a reset button that will reset the group stage for when you got out of sync (your scenario), or bind a new button bound to switch that you exclusively use for grenades. This switch grenade button will then not activate the group switcher.
click options then press y and then it should switch back

Are you using the correct ingame settings and XIM config? You need to use the ones from the XIM website. With other ingame settings the outcome will be completely different.
Just wanted to know an honest opinion, I’m interested in buying it but have seen some bad reviews and keep bringing me down to not buying it i honestly only need it for rainbow to get no recoil so just want to know if it’s a good pick up option or any other xim that could be better
Hey, if you are a controller player then Nexus is a great pick. All other XIMs right now are mouse and keyboard adapters, and dont offer any real features to controllers. This will change with XIM Matrix though.

Hey, yes you must update your Nexus controller + adapter firmware via PC or Mac, as well as updating your Nexus Manager. Update to the most recent beta firmware from the XIM Forum to have these features!

Hey, yes XIM Matrix uses the same Smart Action Manager. It has not been tested if a Zen works with Matrix, but i would advice to not bundle them. Whenever a Zen is connected to a XIM device, and a script is running, you are downgraded to the mouse movement quality of the Zen. Also the Zen adds a high amount of delay as well. And yes there are several XIM Discords!

@@TheOfficialKuci Hey, the XIM Company doesnt have an official Discord. There is a big community one with a few thousand members "XIM Community Discord". This is probably the one you are aiming for. An invitation link can be found in the XIM Forum. There are also several smaller XIM Discords as well. But they are nowhere near as big. There are for example language specific XIM Discords. I run one for my channel members too.

If I buy a xim nexus and use my xim apex will it work similar to xim matrix with no recoil and all that other stuff?
Thats not possible, XIM Apex cannot access the Smart Actions (or any feature) of XIM Nexus. Those only work with the Nexus controller.

Why when i make a new R6 config in xim apex manager i can't choose Classic or update one?
Updated got removed, there is now only Classic (thus the wording "Classic" got removed as well).

Both Nexus and Matrix have a cap on the total amount of possible bindings. If you reach it either delete actions you dont really need, or try to simplify your smart actions. The team will look into expanding the amout of bindings in the future!
So this is for example the recoil for gun A and gun B, or an operator in specific. Is there a way you can save these presets and give them a name. If I’m playing ash one round and the next I’m playing Maverick, this means I will have a different weapon with different recoil control, can you switch in between those presets in game as well? I don’t know if you understand my question haha.
Or if you can make some kind of bind that if you switch to secondary your anti recoil config just turns off bcs on pistols it’s not so hard to control
Hey, so for Ashe you would use what is shown in the video to handle her primary and secondary recoil. If you play a different operator now, say Maverick, you can either use the Smart Action Group feature to switch into another Primary/Secondary recoil group, or what is probably easier you just switch into a different RB6 Nexus/Matrix config that has the primary/secondary recoil handled in there instead. This is what i do. I have a config for each operator that i regularly play, and just switch into the correct config during the operator preparation phase by either pressing the up/down button on the Nexus, or by using hotkeys with Matrix.

Make differences in your recoil configuration?
@@Drupyz switching between angled grip and vertical grip will change the recoil on your gun. Same goes for the other attachments.
@@Drupyz Any change to the weapon attachments that influences the recoil will require you to update your Smart Action, if you went for a complete 0 recoil of course. Angled grip changes the recoil in some games, whereas in other games it only changes the ADS scope duration. Same for extended barrel, it depends on the game. In BF it increases recoil, in RB6 it doesnt.

We will see when the update is out, until then it is impossible to say what is going to happen.
Hey so i made an ace no recoil for the ak-12 and im struggling to make it so there is a hotkey to enable/disable it how do i go about that?
You assign a group to your smart action (say group 1) and then bind a group switcher action that toggles group 1, say button X. By pressing X you activate the Ace recoil smart action and deactivate it again.

Hey, maybe your phone automatically updated the app? If you are on Android you can install an older manager again. On iOS this is not possible, you must install the latest XIM Firmware too then.

Would we need anything else for the xim matrix to work on the ps5? For example, like a remote play connection or anything similer. Will it be just like the old xim apex where you plug it in your ps4 (old gen) and play
Hey, you will need an Ethernet cable, thats it! More is not needed for XIM Matrix on the PS5! :)

@@jamiehautz5798 Hey, if you only have one Ethernet cable then you can use a 15$ Netgear network switch. Plug the Ethernet cable into the switch, and then your PS5 and Matrix into the switch. That way both your PS5 and Matrix have an Ethernet connection.

Hey, just download the corresponding firmware from the XIM Forum (Dowloads - Archive) and install it via PC or Mac onto your XIM by choosing the factory restore option! :)
So this is mnk just on controller am i right and is it for ps5?
Nexus is a controller that offers motion aiming, which together with stick aiming allows you to achieve the same accuracy as a mouse player! Nexus currently doesnt work with the PS5, but together with XIM Matrix which will be out in 1-2 months it will work with the PS5 too!
Hey. Soo i have 2 questions. 1: how do i setup rapid fire for pistols and 2: there is like 70 operators can i use 70 different game configs for them? Please reply i need help
Yeah you can either use different game configs that you load via config hotkeys, or you use smart action groups within one config. For that see the video you have commented under, it explains how to do that.

so ive set up the anti recoil configuration exactly as you do (note, I am using a different gun) and it is showing up as working and getting activated, yet in game there is no anti recoil whatsoever as well as my sensitivity on my thumbsticks do not change even tho I changed the in game sens to max. I have saved the config multiple times but it seems to not be working. I am not using the motion aim as well, is there any fix for this?
Hey, did you close the "Navigation Mode"? Your Nexus will launch in "Navigation Mode" when started, which is basically stock controller mode with no added features. Turn off the mode by pressing the up and down button at the same time. When in "Navigation Mode" your XIM button will glow white. As soon as it turns to a colour you have left "Navigation Mode" and your Smart Actions, Sensitivity Adjustments and everything else will work! :)
@@XIMCentral Ok so i was in navigation mode and I am now switched to the other mode and it shows the buttons are being pressed but still there is no anti recoil. Are there any other ideas you have to fix this?

@@rivers2026 Hey, have you deleted the analog button binding? Did you assign the Smart Action to HIP/ADS only? Is the magnitude high enough to notice a difference? Is the overall Smart Action correctly setup? It could be lots of things tbh.
@@XIMCentral ok so I've realized that the aim magnitude works but my aim angle doesn't seem to work at all as I go through all of the degrees, where it doesn't make a difference. Do you know if that would be the issue if so how to fix it? How do I fix the aim angle not working?

Yes thats possible, you can find instructions in the XIM Forum on that.
is it possible to get no recoil without the updated version of the app
Not really, no. You will need Smart Actions for that (see the video description for the download links).
How would this work with games like Apex Legends where load outs can change very quickly
You must organize that on the fly then if you want 0 recoil for everything. Or use one recoil reduction that just slightly reduces the recoil, but in return works for all weapons.

Why when I shoot with the recoil macro active my sensitivity becomes slow?
Hey, this could be due to several reasons. Could you open the macro and delete it? Does that solve the problem?

Yes this works for any game! And yes you can remove the recoil in PUBG too. I have tried this a while ago for the M416 and it worked very well! You can find tutorial videos on my channel on how to do it.

Yes you can. You can either use groups within one game config to rotate between 5-7 weapon loadouts (primary + secondary each) or you use different game configs to do the same (in which you can of course use groups too).
how do you make several groups in 1 config that won't interrupt with other groups is there a hotkey for groups like A AND B IS FOR mozzie then a hotkey for like group c and d for ash which won't affect the first operator group

Nexus is a controller and Matrix a mouse/keyboard/controller adapter. So it depends on what you prefer to play with! :)

Dont worry, when using a XIM you are not cheating. XIM devices dont violate the console ToS, you cannot get banned for using one.

Hey, please update your XIM Controller and XIM Manager to the version linked in the video description. The feature is only available with the newest firmware! :)
@@XIMCentral also with the xim is there anyway to get the controller thumb sticks to feel like native ps4 thumbsticks or a way to use the classic mode with smart actions because I usually have to switch profiles to the red config just to use smart action but the thumbsticks felt good “simulating original console controller”

@@nba2kdailyuk216 Oh i see. The recoil of Maverick has changed since then, so its no longer the same. For dialing in your smart actions you can find plenty of tutorials on this channel. For Nexus i have the basic "Perfect Anti Recoil" video which is an introduction, and then the "Advanced Anti Recoil" video which allows you to handle any gun. And for Matrix there is the "Best Anti Recoil Setup Guide" video which is a combination of the two Nexus videos. Any of these will show you how to dial in weapon recoil in just a few minutes! :)
How do I pull up the Nexus manager plus button at the bottom when I go on mine it does not show that at the bottom?

Hey, you must download and install both, the new controller beta firmware and manager beta firmware. The link to those can be found in the video description.

@@jeffdull3613 You must only update your controller, and the manager. The adapter must not be updated, it can stay on the firmware it shipped with.

Yes you will have to organize that. You can either use the Smart Action group feature to switch through operators, or create several dedicated game configs with one for each operator. Via the up/down button on your Nexus you can switch through your configs then.

Is there a way to play mobile games like Fortnite with the xim apex because they will connect to the ps4 controller
Hey, if you find a way to connect a PS4 or Xbox controller to your mobile device then XIM Apex should work through the same workaround.

@@diligaf1000 Pair your Nexus controller via Bluetooth directly to the mobile device, then it should work. When you stop playing you must pair it with your Nexus adapter again btw.

Yes there is, you can add both Smart Actions on top of each other.

@@cannabissivarrap7569 Hey, you must add a new Right Trigger bindings for anti recoil and rapid fire. You cover the anti recoil via RT bindings, and the rapid fire via its own RT binding too. You basically follow both of my videos step by step to add them on top of each other. If you use the group feature for the rapid fire, then make sure you add it to your anti recoil too or else it wont be active as its not part of that group.
Do I have to change managers every time I change operators and weapons?
You can do that, but you must not. Personally i cycle configs via hotkeys, or the Arrow Up/Down buttons of Nexus. Since every config = operator has its own light i can always check if i loaded the correct profile. But you can of course also use the XIM Manager for that.

I tried it with the same weapon, but the first and second recoils are so different that it doesn't work. What should I do?
Hey, you mean you have a primary and secondary weapon that have two different recoil pattern? In that case try what is shown in this video to separate both via groups, so you can use dedicated anti recoil pattern for both.
@@XIMCentral No, when I fired the same weapon five times in a row with the mouse in the air, the recoil was completely different.

Yes it does! Nexus and Matrix share the same manager layout and smart actions, so you can 100% use this in the same way with Matrix too! :)

@@Krioly2K Its not possible, the Smart Actions of Nexus can only be accessed via the Nexus buttons itself. XIM Apex cannot do that, so combining both and using Smart Actions through XIM Apex wont work.

@@ytreq2574 All right. You probably experienced a powerdraw issue. Your devices needed to much electricity and the XIM shut them down to prevent damage. Turn off the backlight of your keyboard and see if that solves it. Alternatively add an external power supply to your XIM Hub.

I dont play all operators but from those that i use, all secondary smg, mira, all LMGs, Twitch, Ela, Alibi, Goyo.

Yes, either use different configs or use the smart action group feature to switch between operators.

Nexus isnt PS5 compatible, you could only play the PS4 version of it. Together with XIM Matrix you could though as it works with the PS5.

@@monkeydaddy8 XIM Nexus is a controller and you can achieve the same accuracy as a mouse player with it thanks to gyro aiming. XIM Matrix will offer that too for controller players! So in a way XIM products do help to level the playing field between controller and mouse players!
I need infinite groups because there many weapons in apex Legends 😢
Id say use several game configs + groups. Game config 1 is always R99 + a combination of a different weapon per group. Game config 2 is always R301 + a combination of a different weapon per group. Then load the respective config via its hotkey, and then the correct group.

You mean with smart action groups? You create bindings that active the corresponding group, such as trinangle/Y is switching between group Primary and Secondary. Say you have 5 groups for 5 primaries. F1 = group 1, F2 = group 2 for example.

@@KenIts Yes as described in the video description all 3 must be updated. Also you cannot use the Nexus Manager from the Google Playstore / iOS Store anymore. That one is older and doesnt have these features.

Apex Legends often changes its recoil after each season, yes. So you may have to dial in your smart actions again. For that see my "Matrix Anti Recoil" video guide.
any update on the new rainbow six advance settings for xim apex ? if so how can i get it to feel like my normal sense... since the update my sense feels slow when i disable the advance settings
Hey, a new ST will be created very soon. Until then i would advice to not make any changes in the advanced settings. That way everything will play and feel like it normally does.

@@audeems Use the default values until a new ST is available. Any changes done in the advanced settings will result in poor mouse movements or a changed sensitivity under the current ST.

How do i do it with all guns
You add more smart action groups and assign activation buttons to them. Say Group 2 = Weapon MPX, Group 3 = Weapon ARX. You then press the respective group activation button that you have bound. It might be easier for you to just handle different guns/operators with dedicated game configs. Then you can load game config 1 = Weapon MPX, game config 2 = Weapon ARX and so on. And within these configs you handle the primary and secondary weapon as demonstrated in the video.

Not at the moment, but the XIM Team is working hard to realize a XIM PS5 solution. I am not allowed to share any details on it yet but i am sure there will be an announcement about it sometime soon. I will then of course post it on TH-cam too! :) Until then the best PS5 consumer solution for Nexus is probably the Beloader Pro, unless you have a Pi or PC then PSRC is better.
