I'm having the same problem as this guy however it is not random it's whenever I accidentally move the mouse down which happens every single time I shoot and when that happens even a little bit my screen shoots down to the floor is there a fix?

I spent a few hours playing with this over the weekend and though it's a fun trick I feel the negatives outweigh the positives,only just a fraction. It's just more difficult to track moving targets , I think I've good recoil control anyway so worried it would make me unlearn muscle memory I've built up.
I share the same experience as you, its a neat trick and can be really helpful in certain situations, but the downsides are too big which is why i prefer to control recoil with regular mouse movements (and maybe an increased XYRatio).
Using 4% on the new Soldier 76 for Overwatch instead of a 1.55x/y ratio. Because the x/y ratio is now set to 1, my flicks are more consistent and there's less chance of human error when fighting the recoil over using 1.55x/y.

@@chiefsosaya7869 There was a recoil update added in October. It's only minor, which is why I suggest 3-4%.
@UCMR7lFmhia9N1NyS1E70D5g Left click is bound to a secondary profile with a lower sens for pinpoint accuracy. Sort of like ADS without the animation. I also use 250hz for the increased aim assist. I also use the Linear Overwatch profile for 1:1 muscle memory switching between hip sensitivity and my "ADS" sensitivity.

Hey, du kannst beides zusammen benutzen, das ist kein Problem :). Einfach das Booster Setup zuerst einstellen und dahinter dann die Sub-Config aus diesem Video wobei du das Deactivation-Delay aus der Booster-Config in die Anti-Recoil Config übernehmen musst.

If you use the titan 2 yea.
Use a g5 mouse (or any mouse with an infinity wheel in the middle) and assign the fire button to the wheel.. Easy. 👌🏻
Theres no way to realize rapid fire since it requires a macro/script loop, the XIM cannot do that, even with the most advanced tricks. For rapid fire you will need a keyboard or mouse who comes with that feature, or a Titan Two used together with the XIM for example.
@ximgameplay I use that feature for the fal on warzone/plunder... Can use it on the pistols (non dual wield) as well but yeah you defo need an infinity wheel for it to work.. Caution... If you have a fully automatic weapon, you need to use the left mouse key (or whatever your fire is normally)

You could make a secondary key for firing your weapon the scroll wheel up button.
So after some testing, it appears that with this trick two separate configurations cannot be used at once, only one at a time, so the recoil can only be adjusted in up down and 45 degree diagonals. It is impossible to eliminate an odd angle recoil (like 20 degrees up and to the right) completely, but you can take away most of it
Yes exactly. For 20° recoil id say thats still managable via mouse movements.
@@XIMCentral I added an attachment to make the angle about 45 degrees and then mitigated it pretty well from there!

I have not played r6s, but just a thought for the horizontal recoil... couldnt you create another aux and bind the same left click to walk left instead of down at a separate value? This would activate both aux's at the same time i think and fix both vertical and horizontal axis recoil and you could set horizontal and vertical recoils to different walk speeds :)
The XIM can only have one sub config active at a time, so unless you only want to reduce horizontal or vertical recoil at a time this probably will not work. Though you could switch into a new sub config that also handles horizontal + vertical recoil after a specific time (when the horizontal recoil kicks in for example)!

Hey, this trick isnt really useful for Soldier since his recoil differs if you are on target or not. If you are on target the recoil is actually stronger, so you could only level the recoil for one of the two situations. Overall kinda stupid and maybe Blizzard will fix that.

Hey Xim, So in warzone if I use this as a rough recoil control would I need to adjust the initial delay value so that single shot with my sniper or marksman rifle shots are not affected or is the 10ms enough to get those shots off without affect?
Hmmm tough question, i think the best way would be to bind a second fire button that you only use when playing with a sniper. That way the recoil reduction will only activate when you use your normal fire button.
For some reason this works for like a second or 2 but the after that (even when the magazine isn't even half way done) it just goes down even when it's still shooting (I'm using the r301 in Apex Legends
Thats because the weapon recoil of the R301 changes after a while. Its the same with most other weapons in Apex Legends such as the R99. Apex Legends uses a similar recoil system as CSGO where the recoil changes after a certain amount of consecutive shots to make it more difficult. The trick from this video will always move down the mouse at a constant speed. With the "optimization part" of the video you could change the recoil drag down of this trick after a certain amount of time though.

Weißt du schon was mit der XIM Apex passiert wenn die ps 5 rauskommt. Wird die XIM unterstützt? Oder kommt eine neue XIM raus? Da wir auch auf mehr fps gehen usw.
Ein neues XIM ist nicht in Arbeit, der Plan ist die aktuellen XIMs kompatibel zu machen. Inwiefern das Möglich sein wird kann man erst nach dem Launch sagen da die Konsolen getestet werden müssen. Für die Xbox sieht es sehr gut aus, bei der PS5 kann man noch nichts konkretes sagen.

Your XIM is showing a short blink when you switch into a sub config, you can use that as a visible cue if you want to :).

I have a theory but I don’t know if it works. Can you have 2 configs controlling recoil at the same so one for horizontal and one for vertical that way you can have different values for the horizontal recoil reduction instead of the same
Hey, having two configs active at the same time isnt supported by the XIM, but if you would like to see something like that in the future then please share your request in the XIM Forum so it can be considered for future firmware versions :).

Quick question, is this method better than the X/Y method and can they be combined to work together?
The XYRatio one is imo the better trick since it doesnt interrupt your gameplay and allows you to track targets very well (unlike this trick). The two tricks cannot really be combined too. Id say try out both but for good players the XYRatio approach is the way to go.

Is there a way to include a feature that can boost say just x and decrease y? This could stop drag down if the y was less than the x value and the you wouldn't need to lower it overall and it would stop the drag down. Basically long story short. Could you make x its own ratio and y its own?
Thats what the XYRatio feature of the XIM does. A value above 1 will favour the Y axis and a value below 1 will favour the X axis.
Ive been working on this on a couple hours now and im having some trouble. When I go to movement then walk, it doesn't give percentages. I went to the comments to figure out the issue and you said to go the missing features video. I watched it and tried to update and I had more issues. When I go to about it sayss my manager version is 5.00.20211216. Is that up to date and if not, what do I do. Thanks :)
Hey, both your manager and your firmware have to be up to date. Your manager is on the correct version, but i assume your XIM Firmware isnt. What version number does it show for the XIM Firmware?
omg this is actually crazy how good it works so glad i picked the xim over anything else
I tried this but for some reason for me it was incredibly buggy. Sometimes it would work right and other times it would just yank the scope down to the floor. I tried it on Jäger and numerous other ops but they all had the same kind of issue. I had all settings correct, but I’m using the classic settings and aiming system, could that be why? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, is your left deadzone set to 10 in the game options? If the deadzone is too high in the ingame settings then this can happen. Also verify that your RB6 ST is up to date. Another reason can be the new scopes, next week a new RB6 ST will come out that will support the new scopes. It could also be that so maybe wait until next weeks new ST! ;)

You need to use a PC or a Mac, you cannot update your XIM Firmware via the phone, only your XIM Manager.

Do you have problems with the ADS-Settings? When you just convert the older recommended ingame-settings into the newer ADS Settings, you get the solution for your problem. If you used vertical, horizontal and ADS 100 like recommended, just use Advanced (1.0x: 68; 1.5x: 107; 2.0x: 108; 2.5x 108; 3.0x: 109; 4.0x: 109; 5.0x: 110; 12.0x: 168).

Bit confused trying on warzone ads page. It wont work unless i do atleast 20% 10% it doesnt move no matter how long i hold it...but 20% is to much i need like 10 or 15 but those numbers nothing happens

In that case i would use no anti recoil, like a second XIM config that you switch into via hotkey when you want to use shotguns.
Help for some reason my xim apex doesnt show ther percentage where I can cset my walk speed it just goes down to fast when I shoot

Yes you can but you will usually need a Xbox One controller for that. Also when you do that pick the corresponding game profile that matches your controller. So when you play with a Xbox One controller then pick the Xbox One XIM profile and ingame settings.

Yes thats the big downside of the trick. The optimization part in this video has some steps you can do to somewhat avoid this, but getting completely rid of it is just not possible.

@@hyper9ova788 An anti recoil mechanic that consideres your own mouse movements while reducing the recoil is really really complex and can only be achieved via autohotkey or a titan two for example. This is as good as it gets with the XIM itself which is why i showed it.

Hey, the best one would be to use the other recoil trick that i posted with the increased XYRatio. That works much better for soldier than this trick. Im currently putting together the settings for a new OW config tutorial.
Will I be able to use both auxiliaries at the same time? So if I use in CoD auto and semi auto at the same loadout, I can use both no recoil setups at the same time
Yes you can use both at the same time but you need to use two different CoD XIM configs for that. One uses the automatic trick and the other one the semi-automatic one. Via the config hotkeys you can instantly switch between the two then depending on the weapon you use.
Is there a way to shoot on semi-automatic weapon so much faster?
You can bind your fire button to the scroll up or down button, that way you can shoot very fast. Other than that no there isnt really any trick with which you can do that.

@@lorentves2142 I wouldnt do such a video since its different with each mouse or keyboard, it would be close to impossible to make a video that works for all devices. Just google your specific device, thats much faster and way more concrete than a general video ;).
OD1N, Please don't take this the wrong way or any other XIM user here. I think your great and your knowledge has helped the community a great deal. The one thing that separated us from the cronus max and other devices was that they used scripts for anti recoil and other stuff. I took pride in knowing that my xim was only used for mouse and keyboard input. I consider using scripts cheating even though the xim is not using a script but to be honest it is doing the exact same thing a anti recoil script does. I wish this feature or work around was never discovered. I fear that now the XIM community will be looked at even more so the same way the other devices are looked. We had a leg up here XIM does not have a anti recoil and now it does. This is going to bring so much heat to every xim user that really knows how to control recoil without the use of this workaround. I personally will never ever use this feature. I didn't mind the Y/X ratio increase so much because you still had to make the down motion and to be honest after I increased my xim sense on Apex legends I never increased it again I kept at 1 and it felt so much better and more consistent. Of course everyone here is free to do what they want. Od1n I know your doing what you do best and it's to spread knowledge about the xim to new and veteran xim users. I'm not mad, I'm just feel disappointed that something that separated us from the true cheaters has been discovered. Please don't take this comment as a negative one, a hate one, or a toxic one. I'm just expressing my concern and thoughts. If I'm missing something here or not understanding something please let me know.
Hey Dirty, Ces, i fully get your concern and i mainly share the same oppinion as you have! The reason for why i still did the video is that the trick is way less powerful than it appears on first sight. The constant drag-down from the XIM will noticeable affect your aiming, when you want to reduce strong recoil it can even get to the point that you may not want to move your mouse at all while this trick is active. An anti recoil script doesnt have this problem and therefore is several times stronger. Please give the trick a try and move your mouse in a circle, you will then realize what i meant and for why this trick is much less powerful than it appears :).

Next time I'm on the XIM I'll jump on a private match and I'll test it just for curiosity, but I still wouldn't use it in a real game. Thanks again. I'm glad you didn't take my comment the wrong way. This trick is much more complicated then you think, in warzone theres 1000s of different recoil patterns so unless you have 1000s of different configs binded for every gun you pick up in warzone and know which hotkey it is. Its defs doesnt help
@@PokeTrainerKai As stated in the optimization part you would use a small recoil value that works for all weapons, it would work as an additional recoil weapon attachment and will lower the recoil for all weapons (plus fully reduce it for weapons with very low recoil).

The XIM4 doesnt have the walking percentage so it wont work with a XIM4, you can however use the anti recoil tricks from my other video with a XIM4.

This "automated Anti Recoil tric" or det old video "Reduce & Control Weapon Recoil Tutorial". I currently use your "Call of Duty Warzone Config Guide". What would you do\use on warzone?
Hey, for that i would use the trick from my previous anti recoil video with the increased XYRatio in the sub config. This can be used for any weapon and will reduce the amount of distance you have to move your mouse on the mousepad to compensate the weapon recoil.

@@Uuuung Most people perfer standard but there isnt one best option, aim assist is personal preference and id highly suggest you to try all options for a few games and then stick to the one which works the best for you :).

Hey, if you use this trick then check that you bound your leaning buttons in your Anti Recoil config . If you cannot lean in a specific situation this just means that the sub config you are using doesnt have the correct button bindings :).
Trying it in Battlefield 4 and 5, and it works very strangely. Sometimes it pushes down way too fast, other times its fine. And sometimes it goes to the left and to the right. Can you try it and see if it happens to you too in those games? I havent tried others yet.
Hey, this can have several reasons. The first one is that the weapon you are using doesnt have a constant vertical recoil but a slightly random one. Means sometimes the weapon kicks up more while othertimes it has less vertical recoil. Your XIM trick will always work at a constant speed though. Another reason can be your XIM settings, if your mouse struggles to send a constant polling rate signal then use 500hz on the XIM, also use sync default and make sure your ingame settings match the recommended XIM settings. Also verifying that your Battlefield-ST is up to date is a good idea too.
when I use 20% with .90 y/x ratio I can fight against how hard it pulls down but it doesn't control recoil as good as 25%. but that makes it harder to push back up against the recoil. should I still with 20 and .90 or 25% with 1.00 y/x ratio to fight against the pull down more?
Thats a tough question as its probably personal preference. I actually prefer the recoil trick from my previous video over this one as it gives me more control over the weapon while im shooting.

Yes, it works against your muscle memory. Thats pretty much the only downside though.
I just played a bit around and told you earlier today that the sub config is better then this one in my opinion for WZ because of the steady problem while moving and shooting with ADS in this config. But when I reduce the recoil from 20 to 5 it feels very similar to the sub config version. I made several tests with both configs and I cant see or feel any differences now and can't say now which one is better or easier for Warzone... What is your favorite for Warzone @ximgameplay maybe you can tell me your config details?

@@phildean6884 yeah it kicks in CoD and looks not the same like this video but its easier to control weapons in Warzone or CoD MW Muktiplayer while shooting with ADS.

@@phildean6884 I think every game is different and CoD is not one of these games with more recoil then others...
I actually prefer the approach with the increased XYRatio while shooting, mainly because its the best tradeoff between recoil reduction AND being able to track targets and aim in general while shooting. The walking percentage trick is good for weapons with extremly strong recoil that dont require too much aiming while shooting.
So for you, it pulls down automatically? Because when i do this, it does not, it only pulls down faster when i am pulling down with the mouse.
Increase your walking percentage then, some games require quite high values before you start to notice anything.
@@XIMCentral in the video you say assign left mouse click to down that for some reason makes my screen flick down anytime the button thats assigned is pressed. Please bare in mind im using a different manager to you my walk is not showing in ADS only in HIP section of the xim manager app
@@Hector-bf3hk Hey, the walking feature will change the speed at which the crosshair is moved down. If you dont customize that feature then it will move down your crosshair at maximum speed, which is unplayable. To get the walking percentage check out the video on my channel called "Get Missing Features", it shows you step by step how you get the walking percentage in your manager :).
hey, i did all that you said, however under the “walk” button there is no percentage bar where i can change it. This option used to be there but after i factory reset my xim, it’s gone and i don’t know what to do

Hey dude, I have never had an issue with my siege settings that you’ve recommended however I’ve always struggled with drones etc, really stuttering.. any advice ?
Thats quite difficult to achieve since the XIM settings that will reduce the stutter will then negatively effect your regular aiming when not being in the drone. If you are fine with having two RB6 configs, one for the drone and one for the regular combat then you can use a second config with some smoothing to reduce the stutter.

@XIMCentral Perhaps a little off topic in the video. After xim4, apex, I would have bought a matrix anyway. But I am hugely disappointed with anti recoil. I tried different games, I tried setting it up myself, I tried Universal Recoil Reducer from OD1N. And every time this spoils the sight, every time it pulls the sight down along the horizontal plane, this is just unpleasant, and it seems that even the y/r ratio 1.25 setting in apex or xim4 was better. Or what am I doing wrong? I'm on xbox seriex x.

Ads strafe shooting is the biggest issue , standing still on a stationary target this is insane. Think its a balance working with the x y ratio. Agreed that you probably need to find a balance ,this has downsides and you'll eventually unlearn the muscle memory from recoil control.
Yes exactly, while the trick appears to be extremly good on first sight it also comes with a big downside. The optimization tips from the video help to control the problem but you will not get completely rid of it.
I liked it more than the other trick, the x/y and boost thing...but sometimes it gives a jump down when I press left trigger...idk why...its not always, but sometimes...any thoughts? thanks!
Hey, what do you mean with jump down? The left trigger is usually for ADS, is that what you mean?
@@XIMCentral Well, I do exactly what you said on the video, but, sometimes, when I aim (ads) and then press fire, the aim jumps down very rapidly, so it takes the aiming on the head way off down to the stomach lol...so, sometimes it works fine, better than the other method, but sometimes not...I using Deathadder V2.
This is the same issue i'm facing as the guy described. Sometimes the compensation is exactly as shown in the video but sometimes it pulls down itself very fast and the reticle goes down to the legs.
@@qaimraza8166 Thats most likely because you move the mouse down at the same time. Try it without moving your mouse, if it still occurs it might be a problem of the game itself or the left stick deadzone.
My deadzones were high i turned it down to 10. It solved the problem partially. I'm still having erratic pulldowns but of less intensity as before. I can't manage to replicate the smooth pulldown like you showed in the video for jager.
I'm using the classic rotation and classic profile for rainbow 6 siege with an x/y ratio of 1.40 with everything else set to default settings. The firmware is also the latest.

Hey, I made a whole new profile and tried doing this anti recoil trick again, and it keeps dragging down, I followed all the steps correctly, even when I change the walking percentage to 5, it pulls down pretty quick, how can I fix this?
Hey, this trick may not work in every game as the deadzone of the right stick might not allow this. If the minimum drag-down you can achieve via this trick is still too fast then i would recommend to use the anti recoil approach from my other weapon recoil video.
In the case of apex, how many minutes should I refer to?

In different games the walking percentage will have a different effect. In one game a percentage of 10 can already result in a lot of movement, in a different game you might need a value of 25 percent before you notice any movement :). What do you mean with how many minutes?
What would you recommend for Apex legends?
Each weapon and attachment is different but start with a value of maybe 10-20% and see how well it works out for you. Its tough to say which values are truly good since every player might prefer a different recoil reduction.
Question, for some reason it only works when i slightly move my mouse down, if i dont move my mouse down while firing it wont auto go down, do you have any idea why? in a way i feel blessed this way because for siege i have the walk % low so its an assist for recoil control only when i need it, so it only activates when press down, while the way you show in the video it always activates forever as long as you hold fire. My Pros: ill never over press down almost like siege is a game of low recoil, also its never going to over press down Cons: I still have to control a low recoil

You can maybe offload some of your sub configs as macros onto your mouse or keyboard if the device supports that. Alternatively you can maybe use two game configs and switch between them via the hotkey feature.

Hey, for destiny the setup is the same as shown in this video, id say using the ADS approach might be the best option since you often shoot from the hip in destiny too.

Hey, increase the value to a really high one and test it with an empty weapon. If that still doesnt result in any movement then there is probably a setup error somewhere that prevents the trick from working.

When I go to the movement area and scroll to the bottom of it there’s no option for me to adjust the percentage it’s just not there

Hey, this trick requires the latest XIM Beta Firmware to work, maybe that is the reason. Also increase the percentage value to a very high one to verify if the trick works at all.

Hi if I pull down the littlest bit I just I instantly look down to the ground but if I only press button I control the gun can u help me if I get into a gunfight I keep looking down instantly while shooting because I’m moving my mouse to aim my crosshair too

In that case you need to increase the percentage, its still too low.
When I set this it does not keep going down. It just goes once. If I set to higher percentage it just dowm 1 large jump. It does not keep going down as in your example when I keep the mouse button depressed. Why?

i run a high sens and the anti recoil only seems to work when it’s higher and when it’s lower it only works when i move my mouse and the higher percent is too much is that because my sens is too high?
This trick is independent from your sensitivity. What you can do is to change your ingame weapon attachments to further adjust the weapon recoil.

Well great tips and tricks.. following this video and two more other in your page, apparently this tricks will never help to control the recoil of smg 12 for example. I just can feel the different while using a gun which has a low recoil and it can be controlled without any setting..
Hibana / smg 12 / smg 11 cannot be controlled with these settings.. I wonder if I am doing something wrong.. I followed your instructions twice i have deleted my profile and created new one to double check but still recoil in uncontrollable!

Hey, the smg12 or similar weapons can indeed not be controlled because they change their recoil pattern. The first few shots have less recoil then the ones after that, and the same goes for the horizontal bullests. This was intentional by Ubisoft to balance those weapons, they are not meant to be used as high precision weapons. At least on console, on PC the weapon recoil of all weapons is so low that you can even use these kind of weapons :/. And yes you can use this for any game that has vertical recoil including Warzone :).
In your next video on siege could you possibly show us how to copy and paste into the ballistic editor? because I know a lot of people use it and I just don’t know how to use other peoples when they share it.
