Simply paying all the bills don't make you the man, you're the man regardless. It's about teamwork and the woman assisting in any way possible. Cooking and cleaning has never been the only chore in the house. We men mow the lawn, rack leaves, take out the trash, service all the vehicles, do home repairs, and pay contractors for major home renovations. My grandmother and mother has always helped by paying the utility bills as well as cook and cleaning while my father and grandfather did what I just mentioned. Again it's about teamwork, respect, and communication 💯💯

My girl works and is a great chef. She cooks 5 days a week and cleans. She does the inside work while i do outside work. Whatever needs fixing then i do that.
I work three jobs because my hubby had back surgery and I told him don't rush to go back working because I got your back until you completely heal. I cook, clean, wash, yard work, take trash out, rake the yard, riding mower at times, sometimes cook enough food to last for at least two weeks until I get one day or two off to catch up on everything. I pay all the bills and don't have time for anything, but I know this situation will pay off soon because I luv my husband too death.

Love the show Phil! I have to disagree with your philosophy on this one, IMO it’s not my bills, it’s our bills. If I can get up, hustle, and go get it, she can too! It’s called shared responsibility, especially if we don’t have kids. If anything, she can get a work from home job to help out so she won’t get stressed out with the day to day grind of going to a 9-5.

It’s not possible to pay ALL bills off one income unless you are making at least $100,000 a year especially in this day and age. I personally believe even if you still live within your means you’ll still end up living paycheck to paycheck paying all the bills just off his income alone. It’s not a man’s job to allow a woman to come into his life just with the mindset of “I don’t want to work anymore, you’re the man so pay all the bills.” Then on top of all this, she will still expect to have her nails and hair done when she’s not the one working 😂call it what you want but I’m not about to all ANY woman to come into my life to be financial burden on me.
There are resent statistics that show in 2023 most of America can not get an apartment without having a roommate. Apartments are very expensive in most major metropolitan areas. I live in DC. Apartments are anywhere from $1500-$3000 a month. The average person in America makes $15-$20 an hour. Wages are way behind the cost of living. If you want your children to grow up outside the hood, two people will likely have to work. Period. These are real stats. Please look them up

I’m the breadwinner in my home, and pay a larger share because I make more, but still expect something.
The thing that pisses me off about modern blk women is from the beginning of time as a ppl we have always valued each other.....Grandma & Grandpa met each other in the gutter & climbed out hand-in-hand and built their palace 🏰 together instead modern women believe they're the 👸🏽 that should just be able to move in.

This is how I roll as a woman: I never put more on a credit card that I can't pay off monthly. Pay cash as much as possible. I have never made a car payment. I paid cash for all my USED cars. If there was something special I wanted, we talked it over, and cut back here and there to make this happen. I was raised this way.

Any divorce lawyer will tell you, the men that get hit the hardest, had stay at homes wives.
Having a woman that doesn’t work and sits at home is one of the dumbest things a man can do. It’s not going to keep her faithful, it’s not going to keep her happy, she’ll still wake up one day, say I’m not happy and wreck the family.
And because you allowed her not to work for 5 years she’ll need alimony and child support. And you need to pay the children’s medical and dental.

You're out of touch on this issue Phil. These women are not your grandmothers. They don't even have the skills that your grandmothers had to be "the woman" of the house.
