@@desellis8117 i understand where your coming from, however in most societies we can't fathom dumping our elderly in some old folks home because they no are deemed no longer useful. Anyway i'm not suprised at this behavior, I see how people here treat their own children.

Coops can support multiple chickens depending on its size. Roosting space has to be allowed for each chicken.

If she said no and gave u her reasons. Respect her wishes. U want grandma to be cared for. Not neglected because her carer is overwhelmed.

I think the real problem her is not where the grandma is going to live ... its who is going to end up doing all the work. This woman knows that if grandma moves in its going to all fall on her. From the sounds of it she already has a full plate.

💯! It is not a spouse's responsibility to take care of extended family members.
Especially if they don't get along. Plus there should be other family members, cousins, ect..., maybe even a house nurse, that could help out.

For one, he has NO CLUE what it takes to take care of a person who is needy enough to need a nursing home. He’s like “all you need to do is…”
No, no, no… that woman has a full time job. So what’s going to happen to grandma when they’re both at work and the kids are at school? Is she going to be stuck in her recliner pissing all over herself, which how pressure sores happen. And what if she falls and nobody is home?
I worked in long term acute care. If he thinks all grandma does is watch family feud he is completely clueless.
