If u add 1 tbs of sunflower seeds into your black sesame mix & grind them 1st before adding water, u can emulsify your milk. This way u don’t need to strain & throw away the fiber.

Nothing has more calcium than sesame seeds. Sesame is the queen of calcium!

Ooh! Never thought of that! Being allergic to nuts, I’ve found seeds to be a surprising substitute. Like sunflower butter instead of peanut butter! And, of course tahini is from sesame and it’s quite nutty. Seeds are a powerful force to have in any vegans arsenal. Can’t wait to try this! Thank you so much! Stay well!

Black and white sesame seeds both are high in calcium and iron. However black sesame is richer in iron compared to white sesame while white sesame is richer in calcium compared to black sesame. So if someone likes to increase haemoglobin should take black sesame and someone who likes to increase calcium should take white sesame.

Hi. Does it matter if you leave the seeds soaking overnight in the fridge or on the counter? Also, how long will this keep for? Thank you 🙏.
