I was honestly sat last night thinking “I wish someone would make a video explaining how to build different styles of houses” and BAM there you appear!! I’ve been playing since sims 1 and my building is SHOCKING
Just when I think I'm getting better at building, I see someone like Satch build so effortlessly and it's like...my builds are stick figures compared to his masterpiece 😂 (Not that I "compare" myself to others, but I do take note of how they build and where I can improve lol).
He’s honestly the best. He’s funny, and doesn’t take everything too seriously. His content is always uplifting even if there’s a negatives to say about the sims. His characters can be hilarious. He doesn’t think he’s a great builder. But yet gave us a video of different styled houses!
Samh and Bean do a great job of showing different house styles and how-to build. Also, how to fix build issues videos. They are easy to follow, and she gives a difficulty rating, too. She even does livestreams, where she shows how to fix her viewers' builds that they send in.
@@maureenravetti6192 can you please name the channel? Im curious! Edit never mind, when i tried to search it first time it didn't show but next day magicallly it pop up on yt search😛
Something I have really enjoyed for my builds is looking up the old Sears house kits and following those floor plans. It’s helpful if you want to build an older looking house.
I would love to see a video of most popular British-style houses, traditional, modern, cottage, all of them 🥰 Both exterior and interior. I'm curious about how you would look at the style/type of builds as a native to this architecture, what would be your focus on, how you would make use of surrounding spaces in Henford-on-Bagley, Britechester, maybe somewhere else?, and so on. Everything!:) Greetings from Poland! 🇵🇱 :)
I really appreciate the way you've been making videos that help teach people new ways to play and new things to try. I get stuck doing the same thing over and over again in my saves so these kinds of videos are really helpful
I'd love a follow up video to this one where you create some floor plans for these builds. I can never remember what floor plans are realistic to particular build styles.
This is such a good video idea! I feel like most Sims 4 content is so derivative and repetitive but I've never seen a video summing up build styles like this.
Oooh Satch this is just what I needed! I was thinking the other day how I wish someone would do a video with this concept, like the different TYPES of houses as I always throw together anything, and you’ve just gone and done it!
THANK YOU! This week I've been trying to make some terraced houses in the Get Together world to play with For Rent and I kept thinking there was something missing in my build to make it look more natural. This tutorial will definitely come in handy!!
I tend to build without a plan and it typically ends up ok, but seeing these, I clearly need to practice and learn more styles. I love the modern and Mediterranean ones! Thanks for sharing these tutorials 😊 (That straight joke though 🤣)
This has been the most well-explained tutorials about house styles build I've ever seen . It makes my brain less frustrating when it comes to thinking about what to build next , and still be able to enjoy playing THe Sims ::)) Thank you so much
This video is the best I’ve seen! And I’ll be referring back to it. You are such a talented builder and it’s refreshing to see someone who can build an array of styles rather than just suburban. Keep the videos coming 👌♥️ You’re also good at interior, so would love to see you decorate them.
I LOVE making different styles of homes.... these are really great examples!!! My favorites are always ones you do not see in game~ like Haciendas, Middle Eastern, or Asianic =)
Speaking of ivy on the roofs, I think a couple of the roof styles from Werewolves would look good for this build because of the way they are colored, they look like they are turning green.
I think modern homes look like a cross of styles, such as adobe and mid-century. Mid-century is my favorite kind of build because I can experiment with materials and colors.
Wow! Good job! I'm happy I came across your video! I didn't know your such a great builder!!! I always see your game reviews but not your builds. :) keep it up!
I build my own homes. My latest one I put on the Gallery is based on the Millennium Falcon but on stilts, the first floor is a large patio the main home is the second floor you enter through a "ramp" entrance. I call it the Centennial Chickenhawk with Homey, Fast Internet and Bracing Breezes traits. The roof was a b!tch to get on what with the rounded backside & odd angles and still resemble the top of the Falcon, needed 11 roofs in total including 7 round ones, but I also included a satellite dish, can't forget that important piece of equipment. I also did all the landscaping and it's fully furnished with just basegame and the free basegame add-ons so anyone can download it.
Something I would've liked as well is an example of how to lay out the rooms. I followed the first tutorial to the best of my abilities and now I'm left with finding the layout on my own. Perhaps a few thematic ideas could've helped :)
I recently made a container house with eco lifestyle because I remembered everyone making them when the pack came out, but I don't see anyone making them now...
Really enjoy your videos and your laugh is just so unique! It must come from the Trixie mattel school😆This one is so great, I learned a lot and am eager to play Sims now! Crazy
Thank you! I recently started playing the sims 4 and was exploring sims content creators and the gallery and was so put off by everyone strongly preferring suburban style homes 🤮 I was definitely thinking "why are you all so boring? I don't think I fit in with this crowd. The community is all young Karens in the making but don't realize it." but this video gave me some great ideas!
PLEASE tell me these are going to be in your gallery. I had no idea you were such a great builder. Love your videos, yer incredibly funny and quirky. Never change. 😊😉
While the Oasis springs houses are similar to Mediterranean style, they are not actually Mediterranean. They are Southwestern Style housing. Which do have elements of Mediterranean because of being heavily influence by Spanish Architecture. But it also includes Pueblo and Rural elements to form a unique style all it's own.
my family has a little cottage on cape cod that has the shingles on it. most of them are made to become weathered. this is because of the salty air there!
Those builds in Oasis Springs aren't American Mediterranean, they are called Adobe inspired. Usually found in New Mexico, Arizona and southern California. We don't have Mediterranean style homes in America.
9:53 this looks like Soap opera main villain mansion One thing that is missing now it's garden with hot gardener, old housekeeper that knows everything mafia man of the house lady of the house that pretends everything is fine because she has money from her husband "businesses" and more draamaaa
I’ve been trying to build a house for 8 boy sims (trying to do a K-pop roommate thing don’t ask ? Idek) but I can’t find any videos that are step by step all are speed builds can you make a tutorial for something like this?

Sahm and bean does a lot of in-dept build tutorials for different architectural styles in her build like a nerd series.
Is this the same Satch who always says "guys, I'm not a builder" ?
😂😂😂 right? These are great
@@boobabyboo2 they really are. Satch, please make more of these... thanks!
Fun fact: Satch is actually a great builder and makes it looks so effortless
I remember Satch saying he's not much of a builder. But THIS is so insightful and creative! Thanks
Yeah I was like "wait I thought you didn't know how to build?"
Something I have really enjoyed for my builds is looking up the old Sears house kits and following those floor plans. It’s helpful if you want to build an older looking house.
Everyone wake up Satch posted a new video
Be right there...just gotta grab a coffee.
Would love to see these shells on the gallery and you renovate them all. They are stunning 😍
this might be the best building tutorial i've watched so far!
I think Oasis Springs is not Mediterranean, but Spanish Mission (probably inspired by southern border towns), Tartosa is Mediterranean

Satch 90% of time: I am not a builder, guys.
Also Satach: has more talent and understanding of game mechanics than blue suburbsie.
The Mediterranean house was everything! Thank you for this amazing tutorial!
This is super helpful- thank you. Now we need part 2 - building basic community lots (or the castle)
I really appreciate the way you've been making videos that help teach people new ways to play and new things to try. I get stuck doing the same thing over and over again in my saves so these kinds of videos are really helpful
15:04 tudor style builds are my favorite ❤mainly time stamping so I can come back to it later 😅
I'd love to see you build more types of houses, and some interior design to go with them!
I'd love a follow up video to this one where you create some floor plans for these builds. I can never remember what floor plans are realistic to particular build styles.
Would love to see some interior decorating. Amazing as always
This is such a good video idea! I feel like most Sims 4 content is so derivative and repetitive but I've never seen a video summing up build styles like this.
This was very handy and helpful. thank you, Satch💙
Oooh Satch this is just what I needed! I was thinking the other day how I wish someone would do a video with this concept, like the different TYPES of houses as I always throw together anything, and you’ve just gone and done it!
Satch quickly doing some builds for tutorials' sake and them turning into the most beautiful builds i've ever seen 💀 h o w
Best simmer. Watching satch build is inspiring. What a treat! Thank you!
These are really good videos Satch, even an experienced multi-style builder like myself gets lots of new insight and ideas from these :)
THANK YOU! This week I've been trying to make some terraced houses in the Get Together world to play with For Rent and I kept thinking there was something missing in my build to make it look more natural. This tutorial will definitely come in handy!!

Yes! Do all the styles. I also try to find different ideas for builds other than what’s in the game.
Loved this. Would absolutely love to see more styles. Thank you!
Loved it! The fact that you didn't go for a safe build is marvelous
This has been the most well-explained tutorials about house styles build I've ever seen . It makes my brain less frustrating when it comes to thinking about what to build next , and still be able to enjoy playing THe Sims ::)) Thank you so much
i could watch satch play any game or do anything lol
His best video is playing trapped on a deserted island lol I could watch it over and over again lol.

Love those tips!
It's not even 7am yet and I'm considering rebuilding all the houses in cats & dogs.

yesss satch, please do more!! this was actually insanely helpful
The first one, in the US, is known as a Dutch Colonial. A Cape Cod is usually a 1 1/2 story home with dormers.
Thank you! Always struggling with the basics of shells/exteriors
Great crash course in residential architectural styles!
I LOVE making different styles of homes.... these are really great examples!!!

Finally someone on this topic about house styles👍👍👍👍
Thanks! Yes please more like this for builds and interiors 🎉
I LOVE THIS! Thank you for the ideas! Plz do more! and the interior decor would be great too!
Loved this, and would also love more styles and interiors!
Very nice builds!
Love this, thanks for the inspiration! I’ve been so bored with building but this is a great way to experiment.

my family has a little cottage on cape cod that has the shingles on it. most of them are made to become weathered. this is because of the salty air there!
Tudor style looks better and more historically accurate with a stone ground floor. Still, you made an excellent house! :)
I wousl love to see more house styles
Thanks so much!! Learning so much from your video
Your building tutorials are very helpful. Thank you! I struggle a lot with making good looking bathrooms (interiors), any suggestions?
please do a video with the willow creek styles I have no idea how to build or style them
6 Ads during video - much worse than Twitch, TH-cam. Can't wait till my ad blocker updates. I enjoyed the first home, and will try it soon! TY!
10:48 Huh, in _my_ experience it's usually the bottom ones that are smaller
Please do more styles ❤
Tnx TH-cam for putting my random comments under this video 😑
