Satch: "I feel like we can all say we never ever ever use a pre-made rooms feature." Me who tends to use the pre-mades cause I can't build for shit: "Totally agree, yes."
You mean you can't decorate for shit either lol. Cause I can't build so I download unfurnished houses off the gallery and decorate and furnish them myself.
I feel like, if you don't like building or experimenting with different option, premade rooms can be a blessing. But they can also discourage you from really interacting with that aspect of the gameplay. You can't really expect to get better at something if you rarely do it. Maybe that isn't your goal, but if you like building and do want to be better at it, you're doing yourself a disservice by using premade rooms.
@@jcage1022 fair enough. Usually I used pre-mades when there were new rooms that came from a new pack so I can play the new features immediately. Thanks for the rather nice build, Satch. I Like it when you say things the British way! Please don't change your language, it's charming. We are exposed to enough American stuff already.
Ok, I’ve tried watching this TWICE at work. You’re too distracting. Now I’m going to have to watch it at home and my conservative mother is staying with me. Oh well. 😂
the thing with making rooms smaller so they'll look better is that sims are complete idiots a lot of the time and end up not being able to walk in areas that are totally walkable, just because the game doesn't deem to be enough room for them to pass
I actually really enjoy checking the premade rooms, because it's a good way to get a sense of what's in a pack you've just purchased and see how it can be decorated. It can also be helpful in learning how to layout rooms you find tricky to build or decorate (kitchens and bathrooms in my case).
When I tell you I squeaked when I saw that pre-made greenhouse! I always wondered if greenhouses came pre-made in The Sims 4, especially with the release of the Greenhouse Haven kit, so thank you for that.
This looks so good for pre-made rooms! I did a small ranch style home and I only had bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room & dining room/study and it turned out pretty cute! It's just so difficult to get the doors to line up correctly.
Oh the roof glitch where it comes INSIDE the house of you delete any flooring, also occurs with Friezes. I had a gorgeous Victorian that I spent HOURS on and I go to furnish the upstairs and the bright blue frieze I used outside is just in the house.
