There is nothing to say. In my opinion, the best game soundtracks of all time. I finished the first and second game multiple times. Sometimes I open the main menu just to listen to their music. It's perfect to close my eyes and focus on the music. I hope one day I will have the opportunity to meet a master like you.
Hi Damjan, just wanted to humbly thank you for all the amazing music you've created. Ever since Serious Sam: The First Encounter I've been following your sweet tunes, and it really shows how genuine and passionate you are when it comes to composing the music tracks. Just... thanks for all you've done and will do in future! PS. Playing Talos Principle 2 Road to Elysium now. It rocks, just like your music!
1:53:42 "This Void" - My absolute favorite. Every single time I heard this track in the game, I stopped, got huge waves of goosebumps and sometimes even almost shed a tear... 1:47:50 - This moment in "Synthetic Harmony" is also one of my favorites in the entire soundtrack. 1:56:20 "Survive" (feat. Julie Elven) - An unexpected (for an ancient fan of your work) amazing vocal composition (yeah, there was a “Hero” from "SS3:BFE", but everything was completely different there). "Megastructure", "Building the Bridge", "The Escape", "Echoes", "Miranda", "The Beloved One", "Binary Bonds" and "Drennan's Legacy" - these tracks are also very fond of the heart, brain and soul. Thanks again for the wonderful art, Maestro Damjan! I wish you all kinds of further success, inspiration, passion, fire and interesting collaborations 🙏
I love the Talos 2 soundtrack, but the first will always be my favorite, not because i fell more natural, more human, deeper, but all the philosophy, the ambience and the loneliness of the game, remembers me of my father... Anyway, i love these two games! thank you very much for these emotions!
You did an INCREDIBLE job with this soundtrack. The original was great too, but, and I guess it's because the visuals and world are so much more expansive this time around, this soundtrack is far richer and more varied. It's got hopeful synths, choirs, and some crushing bass. Very well done!
You have my respect Damjan... Just utterly amazing soundtracks. Before I bought and played this game, I was already looking forward to hearing the music, only because I remembered how good it was in TP1. ''Our Ancestors'' is something special to me. Thank you :)
Мои самые любимые This Void, The Flight, Building The Bridge, Our Ancestors, The Beloved One, The Scale of it All, Synthetic Harmony, Survive :) Ещё очень понравились Drennan's Legacy, Once in Rome, Lost Labs, Chasing The Spark, 2-я половина The Arrival , Southern Horizons, The Machine, Sentience, Evolve .

This is just amazing... thank you Damjan, Chris and Julie for this wonderful work. My father sadly passed away in october and, I have to say, exploring the beautiful landscapes of The Talos Principle II while listening to this quiet, calm, mesmerizing music helped me a lot to cure the anxiety I had after the funeral. I can't thank you enough for that ! 👍
I love the how Saving Athena theme is a very somber heavy version of When In Rome. I just couldn't help but wait till the music ends before I saved Athena.
1:56:20 Damjan In the two decades I have been listening to your compositions, this has to be THE most beautiful piece you've ever made. I am really happy you've gone out to reach other artists like Chris and Julie to have them part of this masterpiece.
You're giving me chills with your work, Damjan. Both OST are equally great, and I would dare to say the second one is even better. The Talos Principle 1 & 2 are life-defining experiences, and even though the diptych feels complete, I'd be so happy to experience a third one.
I just read the video description to see Chris Christodoulou's name... When I first set foot in New Jerusalem and that amazing 15/8 melody kicked off, I immediately thought "this reminds me a bit of Risk of Rain 2's music, I wonder if it's the same composer", and here we go! Amazing work on this. I was immersed for 42 hours over Christmas week in the incredible scenery, music, deep story, and challenging puzzles. 10/10 game, 10/10 score. Hats off to you all and thanks for a great experience.
Talos 2 best ost track: 1) 27:17 Building the Bridge(best of all) 2) 41:52 Is that a Puzzle(melodic and angelic voice) 3) 17:03 The Transport System(futuristic) 4) 22:53 Lost Labs(futuristic) 5) 1:22:19 Southern Horizons(paradise) Other, drone style: 17:53 The Tower Awaits 59:52 Our Ancestors 1:36:48 New Lifeforms 👍👍👍
You're just as amazing of a composer as you were 20ish years ago when I was still a kid, playing Serious Sam the First Encounter. Thank you for all your work!
Thank you Damjan for yet another incredible soundtrack for one of my favorite game series of all time, and this soundtrack even surpassed my previous favorite being The Talos Principle! Chasing the Spark and Megastructure have been stuck in my head for the past days and hearing a bit of False God again gave me chills and a big smile. I am sure I will be listening to this soundtrack many many times like I did after finishing the first game. Keep rocking!
A true masterpiece!!! I'll surely be listening to it for many years to come, the music was definitely one of the highlights of the game for me! It strikes a great balance of being its own separate entity and referencing tracks from the previous game ❤
Thank you very much for this masterpiece Damjan Mravunac, I loved the OST of Talos 1 and I was a little afraid after the announcement of the second, but you transcended the first game in every way and with the OST it was no different, congratulations on this piece so lovely. This Void is my favorite.
Love the callbacks to Talos 1. Right at the start we are greeted with this version of "When In Rome", this time called "Once in Rome". We players of the first game feel at home. Also, "Saving Athena", which is a version of "Sigils of Our Name", with added instrumentation. I can hear some Egyptian vibes mixed in, and some medieval choirs in the background. Fits perfectly in the scene where it is played, a blend of all three main hubs of Talos 1. And man, that high dissonant guitar note on "Synthetic Harmony" strikes me hard. Very spicy, Mr. Damjan. At least some percussion could be added in some of the tracks this time, right? I imagine it was unusual to make "The Escape" for this game. Well done, sir!
Also, kudos to Chris, who was guest in one song but managed to do 4 songs in one. This version here is a medley of NJ theme with Utopia and Dystopia. They are all essentially the same melody. There is a version in the game with low strings, very dark and mysterious. Utopia is a flourished version, with added orchestra notes and uplifting mood, and Dystopia has some distortion and even some dissonant notes. Also, the polyrhythm! Very good. Nice work by Chris also!
@@chriscandian When I got there in the game, I was very impressed with how that was implemented. Pretty sure that segment will stick with me for a good while, the music being a big reason for it. Very slick.
Does anyone feel some songs' mastering are a little bit off? Quite a few feel like they are muffled, like their dynamic range is clipped or something. I'm pretty sure it's not TH-cam compression because I brought lossless on Bandcamp and they sound exactly like this. Meanwhile New Jerusalem by Chris sounds correctly mastered. Other than that. The whole album is beautiful and sublime! Masterfully composed!
When I was walking around New Jerusalem I thought to myself "wow, working on that Surface Tension remix must have rubbed off on Damjan, parts of this sound like Chris Christodoulou," I guess I was sort of right? Amazing soundtrack, as expected, thanks for your work on this.
Awesome work Damien. I'm totally in love with that adagio in D minor like Southern Horizons. Blew me into tears while exploring the area arround the megastructure. Felt so good to be back. ♥
I want to thank you for the wonderful job you did! I returned to the first game's soundtrack many times and will return many times to the sequel's soundtrack because it feels like a unique experience that you want to relive again and again. Your music fits perfectly with the overall atmosphere, theme and mood of the game, which will remain in the memory of everyone who completed it. And your work gave the game not only its sound, but also an integral part of its soul. Thanks again! I wish you further creative success!
Magnificent album. I thought I already commented this one, but I love your music. The consistent theme of certian melodies and harmonies, evolving while the story evolves, it's just very well made. I've worked and studied for hours to Talos 1 music and this shall join it.
This game is one of my top five all-time games (been playing computer games since 1989), and the sound track is also one of my favourites, it's awesome. Southern Horizons is one of the best four-chord pieces I've heard as well, it's the soundtrack for all my puzzle solving now :) Thank you!
I really love the way certain tracks are used just in the different cardinal direction areas. Many of these tracks bring back specific memories to certain puzzles or vistas for me. Initially I loved the track for the area where the VTOL lands outside the Megastructure(now I know the track is called Southern Horizons), and was pretty disappointed when it ended up being one of the main tracks that plays in the Southern areas. Going back to the Megastructure/VTOL area felt a lot more stale having heard the track so many times in the South. I do wish the Megastructure area had bespoke music, as the tracks REALLY contribute to each areas sense of place. Also the crickets in the VTOL/Megastructure were OBSCENELY loud! Other than those two nit-picks this soundtrack is already an all-time favorite of mine and I see myself listening to it dozens of times on Spotify over the next decade+, just like I have done with TP1.
I can’t wait to get to this game. I adored the first one. I actually played it for the first time a month ago and finally got the 100%. I’ve thought about it every day.
It's finally here!! Thank you very much Damjan I love your work and have been waiting for this gem since the game came out. Truly special music fitting for a special game ❤
I've been waiting for the whole soundtrack to get released on streaming, and now it's finally here! The Talos Principle OST is one of my favorite video game OST of all time, and I'm glad to say that the OST for the sequel lived up to its hype, and maybe even better in some parts. Thank you Damjan and Chris for creating these amazing soundtrack for an amazing game :)
Love the game, Love the music, Love YOU work, Demjan. Collaboration with Christodoul well be unecspected, but it souds soo good and naturul, like only one of you wrote the music.
It's kind of weird how a track named "New Lifeforms" feels so... funereal, almost as if it was to say: the humans are gone, we must grieve them and move on. Still love it (and the whole soundtrack) beyond measure.
As I enjoy exploration and just feeling out the vibe of the game, the music adds so much to the experience. The soundtrack is very very good. I just love it a lot because it does have that deep and profound vibe to it which matches this game to the T. A++ 👌
Finished the game today. Went looking for the part of the music where you are building the bridge to the towers and, heh, it's called building a bridge. Big puzzle game with a big soundtrack to go along with it. Good Work.
Amazing soundtrack, but I can't seem to find the new version of "False God" that is playing during the endings. It was one of my favorite pieces in the first soundtrack so I was really glad when it was back.
It's not on an OST, as it's part of cutscene audio, which works best with SFX and VO; therefore, those tracks were omitted from the OST. But I believe that someone uploaded full ingame music tracks ripped straight from the game, so you can listen to it there
@@DMJ Ah, okay. That's too bad though because this version is really great but not complete so I hoped for the full track. Maybe it will be featured in a potential DLC? I haven't lost hope yet.🙂 Thanks for taking the time to answer my question and thanks for releasing this great soundtrack in the first place.
One of the greatest OSTs ever composed! It added an incredible amount to the experience of the game, and I very much look forward to buying this on vinyl, like I did with TTP 1! Speaking of which, PLEASE tell us there are plans to release this on vinyl! It's a must :)
Talos Principle 1's OST was an absolute 10/10 for me. Sadly, I don't think this one is THAT good (or should I say, I don't like it THAT much). But hey, it's still a solid 9/10 for me!
Excellent soundtrack! I was wondering why New Jerusalem sounded like something from Risk of Rain 2, didn't realize the same artist was behind both, that's pretty neat.
Babe, wake up. Talos Principle 2 OST just dropped
Good to wake up for this 😊
Now I waiting a Serious Sam 5

Talos Principle 1's OST was an absolute 10/10 for me. Sadly, I don't think this one is THAT good (or should I say, I don't like it THAT much). But hey, it's still a solid 9/10 for me!
BRAVO MAESTRO!
1:21:27 when Hope gets into high gear, I get so hyped. I could loop this for hours!
Excellent soundtrack! I was wondering why New Jerusalem sounded like something from Risk of Rain 2, didn't realize the same artist was behind both, that's pretty neat.
so he is the robot playing guitar in new jerusalem ?
