I‘ve lost count on how many times I‘ve played Mass Effect. This series is something special. The characters are so well designed. And I enjoyed Andromeda, too. It‘s a bit of a shame I think that we won‘t see those characters for another game! Thanks for this track!

My first guess would be Peebee, which would make sense age-wise if the game is set far into the future. I also saw a figure that‘s reminiscent of Jaal on one of the posters, which would be cool as he‘s one of my favourite characters in Andromeda!
@@norgeball3971Can't say for sure, but I read that since ME4 will take into account the Destroy ending timeline, the Galaxy now will have to reinvent new FTL technology since Mass Relays got wrecked, and that's where Liara comes in using Geth tech (that was originally used to allow travelling between galaxies in Andromeda) and that's where we'll possibly see Andromeda characters (Peebee as you said) or even have the ability to travel between Galaxies at one point in the game, either at the end or from the start, depending on the narrative. Hopefully all this becomes true.

Honestly I felt the same way. People gave Andromeda such a hard time and I really enjoyed it - especially how they link the two stories together as you uncover Ryder's father's logs. Some of the characters were really great and I'd love to see them again. Anyway, terrific mix this is, really thrums the depths of my soul, both the dark and light. Makes me grateful to be alive.

It's not the skill you possess, nor is it the talent (which you truly have both). it's your ability to translate what's in your heart and mind so that the world can hear and understand the language you use to compose this masterpiece. You've got talent and skills, but the one thing that you have that you can't learn in school or be taught is your hearing, and that's a gift. This beautiful music was composed because of that gift. If something doesn't sound right while composing, it's not going to be in the song. It is always the last thing you rely on, and it is always the first thing you need to begin. Great work! Hahaha well that's great you're inspired and getting some gear! Absolutely let me know if you have questions. At some point in the future I'm planning on having some kind of educational resource on how I make ambient music, like an online crash course or something. But until then I'm always down to give advice where I can :) If you're out buying things and unsure of where to start I do suggest focusing on digital things first and just get into hardware synths and such if you are passionate about that specifically. Haha I don’t have any tutorials in mind but I’m planning on making some educational material in the near future :) but I’ll say it’s all about finding the right sounds that have the right mood, then weaving them in and out at a comfortable pace. Keeping the whole thing in 1 key, with the pads droning the same chord the whole time, then things like bass and chords can play anywhere along the timeline and it will work with the other elements. It’s like a puzzle haha

Thanks! I mostly use Logic Pro X but there are lots of good options that all get the job done and work slightly different. For the actual sounds I use products from different companies like Synapse Audio, U-He, Spitfire Audio, Native Instruments, and many more :)
For sure! You’ll need a computer and a midi keyboard, then you’ll need a DAW (there are free ones like Reaper). Then you’ll need a variety of instrument VSTs and FX plugins. Though if you go with a DAW like Logic Pro X it comes with everything you’d need to get started. Then honestly look up beginner tutorials on TH-cam. It’s one of the best ways to learn :) I hope that helps point you in the right direction!
Sounds more like Blade Runner to me. Well, you *did* have "Relaxing" in the title. Where's the Virmire Ride, or *anything* near or over 100BPM? (Around 19:00, and 33:00, it started to sound like you were warming up to something.) But very, very nice Vangelisian patches and composition.
@@evancombs5159 Oh, ME2 definitely is. Jack Wall and Sam Hulick were asked to take it in that direction, particularly in light of the cyberpunk dystopia that Omega was supposed to be. You can certainly hear Vangelisian echoes in Mordin and other tracks. It's a pity Jack opted out for ME3, but Sam was still a big part of the music team!

You can certainly hear Vangelisian echoes in Mordin and other tracks. It's a pity Jack opted out for ME3, but Sam was still a big part of the music team!

Thanks! The Bandcamp version is the full piece of music and this one is simply extended with all the same elements for extended listening. Everything you hear on TH-cam is in the Bandcamp version :)
