@@krypton1142 He could've just stuck to the disassembly part for the title, then. "What's inside LCD" can easily be construed as a person actually discussing... What's inside an LCD.
Thank you for that!!! As an Instrument Tech, I understand what you showed, and I'm certainly physically capable of performing what you described!... I WAS only concerned with damaging the internals by such dis-assembly!! (Not now!). I have a Screen with visible INTERNAL moisture intrusion, needing cleaning. Otherwise, the Screen still works fine!!!!! 😎
Haha... It's the 'Film/layer' where the actual external (and flexible) 'PCB' connections actually 'connect'. That 'Matrix' contains a Gel-like substance, between containing layers, that alter how light travels through it, after electrically energized in those specific areas. In the simplest form/scenario, (B&W), the penetrating light becomes Polarized!!.. and so, in front of that, is a Polarizing Filter, allowing us to view the dark areas, against the normally illuminated background areas. A 'Colour' screen is so much more complicated, but that's the basics!! The other 'Layers' here are Background illumination, various filters, and protective glass. Ain't technology wonderful !!!!
Thank you very much for this video. It showed me how to repair my laptop's lcd screen (I had to take some pieces from other screen) and it was very helpful. More videos like this!
i have 2 lcds that are identical but one has a scratch the other has blemishes would it be possible to take the difuser sheets out of the one with only a scratch on the top layer and then take the good top layer from the one with blemishes and merge them into one? since the blemishes are only coming from the bad difuser sheets? has anyone tried this?
No you cannot plus these white papers are not printer paper, they are layers whose function is to scatter the light coming from the led side, fixing LCD screens is way more complicated than you think, so if you damage your screen, the only solution is to buy a new one, You can imagine that factories hardly make a screen without dead pixels, because it is difficult and not easy at all
i really don't think you can. im not a expert but i wouldn't want to disrupt the liquid crystals inside. i took apart a broken one today, somthing to be noted they are so clean on the inside that any speck of dust in it or air bubble might mess it up.
Display LVDS LP140WH4? i recognize this display hahaha ^.-.^ 🤣it is made for easy dissassembly and repair. Actually, i'm tried to fix my old LP140WH2 with this board (reuse the led driver, because the original have damaged) and works fine.
Would be nice if you talked about each piece and it's individual functional
Thats a completely different video. Hes just showing you how to break it apart. Nothing else
You can always google it, I'm sure someone else has done it by now.

Did it work?
@@emreozaydn5947 Yes! It took me some time and had to be very carefull but it worked fine for me.
If I disassemble mine would I be able to clean or remove the “ink”-looking dark spots?
Those dark spots may be between front screen and the next layer, pressure between them forms those artifacts.
@lofffy Yes I did
Does this work for you?
@@mqtlfy I haven’t tried it yet
