I'm 61 years old and I think you are great. I'm still repairing and learning even at my age. My Electronics Professor aways told me the more he learns the less he knows. There is so much more to learn. God bless everyone today
I'm 65 and agree with you
I'm 64 years old and still learning
God bless you ☺
I'm 65 and still alive
I like that sentence 'the more he learns the less he knows'
If TH-cam forces Sorin out of the platform, I WILL STOP PAYING FOR THIS BS. Since apparently TH-cam wants to hurt the people that are actually trying to help others learn a beautiful occupation from whom I've learnt so much! I'm speechless tbh, this truly sucks, I want nothing else but for Sorin and his channel to thrive and succeed whether it's here or on another platform. Don't give up Sorin please we support you, notification bell always on!
you pay for the tube?
YT follows the policy of big corporations. we must be a consumer society, in their view isn't good for people to repair their electrical and electronic items, the ideal is to buy as often as possible, so that the owners of the corporations become even richer. Sorin, you are a special person and a perfect and talented professional! we will follow you wherever you post your videos. success!
Thanks for keep making great content even when youtube demonetized your channel
I dont understand TH-cam, they remove your income, but still rake in the money from putting ads in your videos. You are greatly appreciated
TH-cam don’t letting me watch the advertisement on a site you killed and never give it back. Sorin is a good person always nice and helpful.
Funny thing, yesterday evening before closing I got a bad laptop screen at the shop...in my country no one ever fixes screens but i started checking the inverter voltages anyway...i figured i would have to research on them again great to see a video with exactly what I needed...Thanks Mr Sorin
Love your work. Fun to watch you figuring it out
Thanks again Sorin for sharing another repair with us!
It caught my attention that the device is in Arabic letters. Thank you, my friend, for this channel. To be honest, I have not known a similar channel in all of TH-cam that has honest and practical content like yours. All support to you.
Your Good Sorin Love watching you work.
Very interesting video again and again. thanks Sorin
Love your work and your channel ❤️❤️❤️
I love this guy. Huge Thumbs UP !
Love watching this channel
OMG.. I love this kind of long videos. Our Sorin is back ❤❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TEACHINGS THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL AND THANK YOU FOR THE SUBTITLES IN SPANISH
Yes, I have found fuses go high resistance before. They should fail completely, I guess they don't make them like they used to.
They're basically zero ohm resistors nowadays, and as so, its resistance drifts high as it gets damaged by the excessive current.
I had a similar issue with same type of screen! Check at 24:22 This fuse tricked me as well but it only needed 3.3v after the fuse to turn on the backlight 😅 BTW:
Much thanks to you for sharing the knowledge! 🎉
Love you, "Excellent work"
I can't believe you're having issues with TH-cam, all you do is help people to be better and believe in themselves. Hope you can find a solution for this, even if it means moving your videos to another platform
TH-cam is turning more and more into Fascists. The same as Facebook and Twitter.
Well that is exactly the reason he is being punished.... Maybe if he was doing worthless joking/dancing/non educational/nonsensical videos, he would be on page one... TH-cam sucks, unfortunately, getting worst than tiktok, cant find anything useful. #Righttorepair
@@wagnerdiaz6997those silly vids are there because those losers don't log in. if you log in you get the vids in your feed and related vids. I never see any of that nonsensical junk on my home page and if YT tries to sneak one in I right click and select "don't recommend channel"
Nice video for me mr sorin its the best repair for everthing no1 thank you best chanell dont change thank you and big hello from serbia
TH-cam are not only trying to control channel output regarding content, it's also financially beneficial to them. Accusing them of simple fraud doesn't begin to describe these dictators. TH-cam will seal its own downfall eventually and Sorin will maintain our greatest respect. If it weren't for the many quality content providers (and not the so called influencers), TH-cam wouldn't exist.
thank you sorin
Impressive, now I'm working in one that have one led blinking.
I hope someday I can do the same as you.
¡Gracias!
😂😂😂 damn it I thought you are talking to me when u said i forgot the battery plugged in 😂
What a great help this video would have been to me a week ago 😅
nice work
I like your videos, they are very well explained. Thank you very much for a job well done.... my name is Mike I come from the Ivory Coast and I would like to be your student
“We are lucky and if we are not lucky, I don’t know” 🤷♂️😂😂
Haha, Excellent! A crazy fault and a crazier fix 😀
We're with you to the bitter end sorin, FUUUUK TH-cam
25:48 i agree with you. 😃Actually we should call you Dr. Sorin. ☺☺
Nice, very entertaining.
Valuable tips of the day from Sorin. "never plug unplug led screen without first disconnecting charger and battery. Unless you are Sorin .😂lol
Other channels hit by the bug and that tried to start a new channel, got exactly the same experience. All their channels got hit.
you read our minds sorin hahaha battery still plug in.
Nasty fuse
I found your videos very educative. But also I found bots in comments. Somebody is trying to drown your channel.
Great job sir,How about the brightness control sir? that's still work?
indeed Sorin yes, i was shouting that battery is plugged in :)
that's world class rocket surgery hahahaha
Yes doctor👌
The surface mounts will do that on rare occasions. They can blow but because they absorb heat, they can partially burn out. The voltage spike must have been short and riding the edge of taking out the fuse. Never trust the continuity reading on surface mount fuses. Take a resistance reading if you're not hooked to power.
The Godfather of this domain 😎👌🏻👍🏻
Wow, u unplug and plug in screen with batt connected👍
I need my adrenaline :D
HI Sorin I love you friend you make very useful videos thank you. Please consider making a video on how to fix your Lavolta BPS 305 power supply. I recently bought the same power supply and I can't return it I want to fix it myself I have the same problem Please make a video. Thanks.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can anyone point me at what time does he start explaining the screen signals?
i seen this type of fuse demage many times on newer devices
have same laptop. you have to close the screen and take that strip through the back of the laptop
For your information : TH-cam did not show any ad to me during the whole video (I am not on premium).
It showed me an advert at the start, not during.
please sorin can you explain that of an lcd screen with inverter?
Its goood😊
I've send you a little bit of support via paypal and hope others will do too. This invalid traffic bug is really annoying. I think it has nothing to do with your content. It's just some crazy AI having a bad time. Hope this is going to bee resolved soon. Good luck.
Thank you but you don't have to, is not necesary about money, is more about how the content is appreciate it by yt and advertisers
@@electronicsrepairschool Yeah, I know, you didn’t ask for financial support. But I am pretty sure that many of the more complex repairs that we as viewers appreciate so much would not be economically viable without the additional revenue from TH-cam. So, I was more acting out of self-interest ;) Keep up your great work, I hope the problems will be resolved soon.
Sir i would like to ask one doubt on this video which does not present the voltage on pwm and led enable voltage okay for this you find solution in my case it's the both voltage is present but display not present if any chance try to explain
Dr Sorin and Open Screen Surgery
I still like 😅
Top 👌
I ave 2 ACER laptops, and you are right, I have to completely remove the whole assembly just to remove the bezel. They are old, but they do what I want. I can't upgrade either to Win. 11, so I will probably junk them after October 2025.
Or switch to linux :)
Art show... this is how you work with soldering iron and creative mind :D
I love You
One thing, didnt the 3.3v wire short the capacitor beside the fuse? I noticed it was stretched across touching both positive and negative...but i may be wrong
Hello, This wire has insulation, we call it enamelled wire, they have a type of varnish that covers the entire wire.
A crazy fault thanks for sharing
Proper calibrated fuse 😂
When the legal Windows has a temporary display blackout, that doesn’t mean any blacklist or hardware failure. It is designed to attract the user’s ghost, when he/she looks into the display as a mirror. Then the ghost arrives during each startup.
hi, i like your videos they are helpful to me. i'm using a lenovo E50-70 laptop but now it can't power on. there were missing screws on the laptop so i tried installing them but I didn't plug out the power supply. the next thing the laptop is dead. i tried everything but nothing is working. Can you please help me, what could be the problem here.
I don't look on any display faults and even know LVDS signals, why? The display would have to cost quite a bit to spend the time on it. Otherwise, if the screen is a cheap one, I prefer to swap it as that should give quite a few years more to this laptop. But, a TV repair of such fault makes sense ;), even a cheap TV.
I'd wish I'd have time to do those repairs, have here several of displays with either a no-power, flickering, or an LVDS issue. One has a short in the Clock signal. Hope one day I'll have enough technicians to sit on them and fix :).
Congrats on your repair and good luck with that YT bug ;).
One more thing, me or my customers don't mind a dogy repair. But, I thought this video will be about an LVDS signals :D. This is just a backlight fault ;), so, the title was confusing to me ;).
Thank you for the video.
TH-cam stopped your other channel, can be because of a duplicate content ?
Yeah 👍👍
Nice vid, Is it possible that flex cable is faulty? I would still get to the motherboard and check those signals on the LCD connector on the MB.
very low probability, these are low power signals.
Positive or negative temperature based..fuse
Hi there, at 27:55, are you using a normal wire to jump the fuse? thnx
A thin wire that can handle an amp or two. Same as what you would find in a glass fuse.
Sir, the same model screen flickering, pliss help
❤❤❤
I let the ads play right through :)
Sorin...love your CUNNING smile...LOL
You should have removed that faulty fuse, no ... what do you think sir 😊
Maybe the dodgy manufacturer targeted you with bot traffic so that the youtube algorithm will trigger on your channel
Sooo, pulling the PWM to 3.3V, won't that prevent the laptop from adjusting backlight brightness? I mean, even so that's still better than no backlight ^^
I dont get it so the fault was f401 fuse all along or what?
That and the missing 3.3 line from ec chip
Please show us how to change onboard ram
it's the same as replacing any bga chip. remove old chip, wick and clean solder pads, buy new chip that has new solder balls already in place and solder onto the board with hot air.
im still getting ads
Half blown fuse.
invalid traffic is coming on most channels . the new code simply doesn't work
4:55 you understand that
This happens to me with sony the fuse act like resistor
Hello🤝nice fault nice fix 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋You tube 🤮🤬🤯
This is the recent best selling hp laptop. I wonder why the customer did not use the warranty
about traffic
TH-cam don't like dodgy capacitor haters 😁
TH-cam is crazy, find another platform. I will follow you wherever you go.
as an intern I am asking brain surgeon Why didn't you solder a proper fuse instead of a passing wire ?
"Give me one second"
other people talking about it
Why did you say this video is members only? I am not a member and I could see it.
me too ! :D
Premium?
no need to isolate those wires?
It's enamelled wire. It's insulated by a thin varnish coating, the sort you'll find in inductor windings.
Improperly calibrated fuse😅
zero is O
Sorin, you can move your channel on odysee platform.
