In this video we manual convert my r33 sedan daily! It’s something I’ve been meaning todo for a while but have only just had time.
Super excited to get this thing on the dyno to see how many kw it makes before we rip into the turbo conversion!

Doing a full R33 sedan build currently in Canberra. Happy to stay in touch in terms of the build itself and sharing know-how! I'm documenting the whole thing too.

@@CamMartonDrift that's cool. I've currently got my Rb25det apart and as it looks healthy as I'm just doing a clean and refresh. Whole body is being redone as well. Keen to see the next thing for your sedan. I didn't know about the key barrel locking cable so that saved me a ton of frustration, thanks!

Dude thanks for uploading! Appreciate you recording this! Im on the cusp of doing a manual conversion on my 4 door R34! Only a 20de Neo though but its just going to be a daily roller so don't mind it being slow.... for now hahah
i also have an r33 sedan but omg urs is so much cleaner than mine, my paint was a rattle can job with giltter done by the previous owner

Nice conversion man, I had a manual n/a r33 on my P plates, made 123rwkw with a catback to answer your question, somewhere around there!
I just recently started out a GTST build on my channel, I'm not as talented as you on the tools though so gonna get a shop to help with the engine stuff haha.
Have any coupe rear pods I can buy off ya on those shells? :D

helpful video i currently have a r33 sedan but sadly auto, i really wanna do a manual swap but just wonding if you could tell me was trans your running and what driveshaft. also mines awd so sould it be simpler to get a rwd trans or would it have to be a awd trans?
every time you downshifted into 2nd for corners, I thought you were gonna do something interesting

Do you remember anything about the spline count on the diff slip yoke? if it was 24 or 30?
Do you mean the output shaft? I can’t remember tbh. From memory i think it was 28… but don’t quote me haha
is auto turbo faster than manual turbo ?
no the old auto trans is alot slower

It'll make 99kw. I have a spare rear main in my tool box I'm pretty sure.

Speedo works after conversion or do u need to swap sensors ?
Hey, kinda weird question but after swapping to manual will tachometer work?
Rpm yes. Speedo it depends, you maybe have to rewire the speedo plug to match the new manual sensor. I can’t quite remember tho sorry man.

Bro what driveshaft i need? I got r33 rb25det auto gearbox and want to install rb20det gearbox. What drivehsaft/tailshaft i need?
Will the automatic driveshaft suit rb20det gearbox?

You can use the rear half of your auto tailshaft, and you could use a rb25de manual front half. I believe you can also use a ca18 or rb20 manual front half of the tail shaft too.
@@CamMartonDrift I let sb weld it for me. I used r32 rb20 front and welded that with r34 rb25 cut half I got. It knocking little but will make it balance.
Got one more question. Can I use my r33 auto speedometer sensor to rb20det gearbox? Will it fit. What you used? Speedometer doesn’t work. Only rpm. Anddddd will it count mileage? With speed sensor disconnected? Is it somehow connected?

@@CamMartonDrift aslong as is a 24 spline one I maybe be Abel to make it work I’m counting 24 splines in the manual transmission.

@@DavidJauregui-v4h I am unsure man, but Rb20de/t, rb25de and rb30 na boxes all run the same input spline
