    Hearing this makes me happy. My R33 only has 31k miles and no, you heard that right, no rust. Got it conplete stock and was a 1 owner. Ive already had local nissan dealers offer me ridiculous money for it. The time it took to find = NO!

    Particularly interested in this. Paid £3100 for my GTS-T Series 2 eight years ago and she's stunning. Looks like I might have finally had a bit of good luck. Great video by the way.

    Thank you for this video. I have a R33 GTST and ive invested money to restore it. Its around the realms of nearly done. just arches and rear left pocket. Then car is upper level of restored. so id be happy with £20k upwards in a few years.
    The red one you showed is a very very bad one in my opinion.
    Its good to hear from experts like you about the gold mine they are.

    They were getting dirt cheap here in Australia a while back. Then America screwed it all up lol. I had a 32 back in 06. Hoping to have a 33 or 34 gtst/gtt in the garage again one day.

      The same story in the uk. 3k bought you a cleanish example.

      I agree the big pockets wanting on the JDM scene they never had has screwed it up. In Australia these cars were everywhere and cheap as now they cost a bucket of cash wish I'd brought a heap back in the day. I have had my 180SX for 21yrs and regret not buying a R32 Bathurst group A for 17k I could now pay my house of and have change.

    The prices of the R33 GTST is now static in the uk,, you would be very lucky to get anywhere near 20k for one.

    Great content. Im restoring my gtst back to the shell, i have very similar rust issues as the car shown here. Do ye fabricate parts to fix the sill issue? Im struggling to find a shell to cut parts off

    • @THEGTRHERITAGECENTRE
      @THEGTRHERITAGECENTRE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes its fairly common issue nowadays. We have an in-house team of fabricators who hand make the panels we need.

      @THEGTRHERITAGECENTRE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We produce the majority of our own panels in-house.

    That silver GTS25t is that a Series 2? It looks like Series 2 headlights...but with a GTR style grill, so im wondering what the hood is...because the Series 2 hood wont fit over a grill like that...did he chop the nose of the hood or is it custom?

    • @THEGTRHERITAGECENTRE

      Hi, its a series 1 with an electra jp carbon 400r design bonnet.

    Whats a typical full resturation cost on the r33

    • @THEGTRHERITAGECENTRE
      @THEGTRHERITAGECENTRE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nathan, just bodywork? Really depends on the condition of the shell. Some need strut towers and small repairs and others can be floors and upper panels like rear 1/4s etc. So a broad brush price could be 12-22k

    My god the damage on this r33 is really serious My R32 is much better almost no rust for a 1991 it is very rare but I also repaired some small start of crak in the joints beginning of rust under the fenders the skirt is another place To look
