Hi mate, sorry I really would like to check please, as I'm stuck here😂 which sandwich plate did you get? R33 gtst one, or an R34 one to fit the engine? As I've got an R34 rb25det neo engine, going into my HR34 auto, and using an r33 gtst gearbox. Would really appreciate a hand with this please

So helpful thank you my dads looking to buy a r34 and not sure to go for a 4K cheaper one but auto lower miles or a 4k more but original manual better spec but 121k miles what do you think or is the mileage not anything to worry about
Thank you glad the video is of use! I think it would all come down to the overall condition of the car. My personal preference would be a lower mileage (mine only has 34k on the clock), but appreciate cost is also big factor. While we saved a fair bit doing the conversion ourselves it’s still not a cheap process
@@drive-r so the auto is 24k with 74k miles that’s mint fairly standard and there’s a 28k one with nismo gt3 rims which are worth lots I’m pretty sure and all modifications are good brands like mines,blitz,hks and that’s mint condition but has 121k miles. Do you know how much an engine rebuild would be for a 34 neo like would it be cheaper than the manual conversion

Hey! As far as I’m aware the R33 GTST and R34 GTT manual sandwich plates are identical and the same part

I would imagine a gearbox conversion is much cheaper than a rebuild on an RB25DET NEO
