The weird language he uses can actually be decoded. It's called Elian script and he has a video about it somewhere... on his channel. Somewhere.

Peter is the only person I’ve heard speak who pronounces the “W” in “drawing”. Made me think why we all don’t pronounce that letter..
I was trying to figure out what was going on there. It wasn't quite the full blown English version "drawering".
It's addictive. I have never heard drawings said that way. Now I will be saying it for the rest of my life with Peter in mind.

The truth is clouds have no form. Honestly if you just sketch and have no agenda on what to draw. You will find your clouds styles. I feel that everyone has their own cloud styles.

Art therapy
Peter hey. I think you're really cool. I'm always on artists block but everyday I try to create artwork. But it rejuvenates my spirit to hear you draw and talk about your daily life. A little strange and all over the place but your also tackling a big problem in the artists world. When you said that after an hour of drawing to have something to show for it over videogames or Netflix you hit it spot on. It was like I got stabbed with a blade of truth. Thank you for shining light on such a important topic.
Love the 'stream of conscious ' commentary... it suits the intuitive development of the drawing that emerges.

Water soluble pencils are one of those things where I just learned about them and now I'm seeing them everywhere

Your hair-throat dream is relatable. I dreamt the other night that I pulled one of those old sticky-hand toys out of my nose. Then I started pulling all sorts of stuff out that was covered in a slime. It felt good in the dream but has left me a little bit confused.
since my OCD became stronger and more affective, i kind of "lost the ability" to do some of my art because i would be held back be a crusade for perfection, but just doodling and learning new fun scribbles to include in my doodling has been really great to loosen up. i'm also a "free time expert" so i usually start my day with some coffee and an an exercise. your videos make me feel like i have a friend over guiding me

Crinkly plastic for you, mine is Styrofoam. I try using pencil but always resort to pen. Yes, shiny vs matte vs glossy no matter the media is what I would like to see you try. So is there such a thing as a "matte" pencil. Thank you for all your videos as they make my day brighter and inspire this old lady. Finally I figured out that twitchtv so now I have more videos of you to watch which puts a smile on this old face. Hugs!

Read that bit of paper with instructions. The little 'extender' is for when the pencil gets really short and it allows you to still use it.

peter you can make cold brew in your french press! just put regular ammount of grounds and cold water, then put in your fridge over night or up to 72 hours. but at least 12 hours. then plunge the press after youve brewed. the point of doing it in the french press because it makes the separating the grounds and cold brew so much cleaner and easier than trying to separate them with a cheese cloth or strainer. so yummy! you can make more (gallons!) in a big jar but then you need some type of strainer

I'm a few years late in catching this, but I did want to say: AWESOME! I am an artist who loves graphite because of it's "freedom". I'm especially fond of it's ability to shade so softly. Thank you for sharing your art, Peter! It is greatly appreciated. :)
i love drawing along to your videos and im not really sure why but when you were suddenly like "i need to stand up. i am drawing standing up now" it cracked me up and reminded me of the weird stuff i do as well sometimes when im drawing just because it feels right

When you were talking about your dream and you leaned forward to show how you were pulling the hair out of your mouth, there was a dog hair I hadn't noticed on the screen of my phone literally right where you were pulling it on the video. Omg it looked like it WAS coming right out of your mouth! So funny! I have a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute who's actually my service dog and man, the shedding is next level. Fortunately I was a dog groomer before I started getting too sick to work several years ago. I do what I can. That serendipitous moment was pretty good. I laughed out loud and ALMOST forgave you for slurping your coffee like that. I am one of those people with Mosophonia that goes absolutely nuts when I hear mouth noises. It doesn't gross me out it sends me into instant anger which I never have problems with. Just a little trivia for anyone who might not know what that is. I am one of the people who can't tolerate that weird ASMR that has been so popular. It makes me totally come unglued!

I have an eyelash-type hair that grows in a mole under my right eye, it doesn't grow very long but when I forget to release it from the confines of my face, I'll suddenly remember it and will pet it because I guess it earned a reward for surviving to its full potential.

I just had my hair cut really short. It was shoulder length and I was tired of it giving me headaches and getting in my mouth and eyes. I am happy now.

I love the fact that you can switch up to a pencil and still make incredible art. I use pencil as my base before inking. 3B ( in woodless or 2mm lead in holder) then a 6B woodless and my pinky for shading

Pretty old video but in case you were still wondering they use the hair fiber to make small pads that are used to clean up smaller spills at airports and mechanic shops and ship yards and a lot of them are made by companies like skillcraft that hire mainly disabled people

Hey peter your drawing are cool and all but if you're drawing with pencils you should switch between pencils more so you can get darker values and laughter values so they contrast each other and make your drawings pop to give it kind of a 3d effect
Imagine instead of yanking that hair straight out of your throat it breaks off at three quarters down and now you are stuck with that hair itching in your throat and you can't reach it...

Honestly the sound and feel of a pencile just. Feels right i dunno. Im weird. But like when i get into it i allways found myself getting obsorbed into my art useing my hands to shade to smudge it a little to get a gradiance over the lines and earasing useing the oils of the hand and an eraser to add light into the shades.
I've been dealing with artist block for four years and I'm just now trying to get back into drawing and it feels like I'm forcing the drawing instead of just letting it flow like you do I wish I could draw what you're drawing because it looks amazing I like the abstract style you have
