Today I'm drawing on 11x14 Canson Bristol paper. I used a Platinum Desk Fountain pen, with Platinum Carbon ink for most of the drawing. Near the end I used a big POSCA paint pen and an Ohuhu marker for some finishing touches.

I would love another "Drawing your Feelings" video!! I keep coming back to the old ones. They are very soothing and relaxing.
They are my favorite videos ever!! I'm not someone who draws but I am someone who has feelings, so often when I watch those vids I draw along for a while. It's so comforting 💆🏻♀️ I don't throw them away though, I keep my sticky note feelings in a small A6 notebook.
yes my fav!!
I could be wrong, but I think Peter said in a Q&A that he was in a not-so-great mental space when he did those videos, and it's a bit difficult for him to recreate them nowadays.
Yes I've dropped this comment on a couple videos. I literally fall asleep listening to them
Peter, I love your very specific brand of eccentricity! Never change

Followed by a gorgeous piece of work. Thank you Peter.
Agreed
This is such a cool drawing, fancy border too!
Now on to the important stuff:
A:
Line 1 was looking good but ended too soon
Line 2 gave a nice satisfying experience
Line 3 was a possible contender but fell off towards the end
B:
Line 1 learned from their last attempt and constructed a simple yet effective journey
Line 2 started good but crumpled under pressure at the end, I wonder if the previous win went to their head.
Line 3 an ambitious flow some may say a bit pretentious; not I though, very impressive
C:
Line 1 continues to improve and take inspiration from Line 3's earlier avant-garde approach
Line 2 also influenced by Line 3's previous showcase, although felt slightly derivative
Line 3 once again willing to experiment and subvert expectations, the ending had audiences flabbergasted
D:
Line 1 truly giving their all for the final round, a strong sense purpose and vigor almost leaving the canvas entirely
Line 2 not to be out done, decides on an aggressive approach; fully disrespecting the work of Line 1. Poor sportsmanship, or radical expressionism?
Line 3 wanting no part in the squabble; settles on a more introspective and somewhat lacklustre performance. Maybe they are just ahead of their time.
I feel like Peter could do almost any type of content and it would be great.
amazing drawing! i love the organic forms, and the deep inky black voids.
hope your wound heals soon!
Thanks! It’s already feeling a lot better in the day or two since I recorded this
my favorite drawing of yours yet! really love the organic forms vs. the rigid border/ornamentation
A really awesome creation! You just keep getting better all the time. And.. like many others have said, watching you draw is meditative and so relaxing for us. When I've had a really awful day, I come and watch you create and it seems to make the awfulness disappear. Thank you for being here and sharing all that you do! ❤️ 😊.. you also inspire me to draw and doodle more. 😊
I've been following you for a few years now, and I never commented on how much I love your art! The flow of the lines, the biological quality of the drawings, sometimes more on the mechanical side. They are amazingly mysterious! They represent something, yet we are unable to determine exactly what. I love it!
A:3, B:3, C:2, D:2. I like the extra time and effort and scale and brushing on the ink wash. It's like you're rediscovering a level of joy of drawing.
Peter, this drawing is lovely. the organic nature is so satisfying.
I absolutely love this piece of art. ❤
Peter, this drawing was fantastic! It's possibly my favorite to date
I love this drawing! One of your best🖤
love this piece x
I can listen to Peter for hours and not get bored ❤️
WoW!!!!! I would love to purchase this one!!!!! This is amazing Peter!!!!!!
Also this drawing is awesome, love the supremely chunky lines of the frame and how it contrasts the rest.
I usually don't comment but this art piece is amazing. I have quite some time to see something that seems so fresh yet intricate and emotional. Keep it up!
A = 1, B = 2, C = 1 , D = 3. That was the easiest quiz EVER! Hehe! :)
Damn Peter, almost at a million!
1-3-2-2 That was a fine selection of lines you used in this drawing.
I love my platinum desk pen. I penabled an artist friend of mine with one, and then introduced her to your vids. She'll be thrilled to see you using this pen.
This drawing is exceptionally beautiful.
Yeah I have really been enjoying it, got it after someone here in the TH-cam comments recommended it :)
@@peter_draws That might have been me :D
Hullo Peter, I will start with A:2 B:3 C:2 D:2 now I have several different feelings about your quiz, but I tried to give you my first visceral choices. I am truly glad that you are continuing to create wonderful videos for your viewers, thanks Peter! I have experienced alcohol marker bleed through even with Copic marker paper pads! The only paper that I have found that alcohol markers are not getting through the back or other side is The RENDER paper pads! I have no idea what makes this paper so tough, but it is the only one. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful ideas and experiences with us.😉 I hope your healed up and ready for your next learning endeavor! Be Well Sir!
whoaaa Peter this drawing is beautifullll
Another shout out to drawing feelings (the first one truly felt spontaneous and sleepy) but i liked this! Reminded me of your old experimental videos. Man I remember back when you smelled art supplies and said random numbers, it was legendary ❤
What a badass drawing! I love this one you should frame it
this drawing is epic and beautiful and satisfying
A:2 B:3 C:1 D:1 I like the picture-framing of the drawing. It suddenly turns into a painting or like as if you’re looking into or out of a window. One of my favorite art styles. ❤
1, 3, 2, 2 are my chosen lines, definitely a really appealing line
A3 B3 C1 D2 Looking forward to your paper on these choices, Dr. Peter!
I absolutely ADORE this drawing of yours!!! I think it's my favourite overall of all of your drawings. Also enjoyed your presence during the drawing very, very much. I hope your wrist stops hurting soon - so glad it's not your right wrist, too. That would be a disaster for all of us. Be well, friend.
I felt the same - my most liked of Pete's drawings :) From me in cold, dark north UK.
Ahhhh, the border though ❤❤❤❤
A:2, B:3, C:1, D:2
I am excited so see your results! Happy we can be part of your research!!
That was a bold move at the end with the thick lettering but then you brought it back with the outlining. You’re like the Keith Moon of drawing.
Also:
A-2, B-3, C-2, D-3
Thank you, have a good day.
A-2, B-2, C-1, D-2 I sure like your videos and your amazing talent!
A:2 B:3 C:2 D:3. You're a gem Peter✨️
Good taste!
A 2, B 3, C 1 and D 2, for some reason the line drawing looked kinda soothing!
A2 b3 c2 d1
"I can finally help Peter" love this, waiting for the bar graphs and pie charts hahahaha
A - 2, B - 3, C - 2, D - 3. Thanks for all your videos Peter :)
A, 2

D, 1
Absolutely love your videos man!
Thats a real masterpice right there!! If i were rich i would definitely buy it...Thanks for a great time!
This video is gonna be a good one I can tell
Hahnemuhle and then Canson, have some of the best, if not THE best papers for inking!!!
A2, B3, C1, D2 - 🥶The squeaky sound ran all the way through my spine to the top op my head and send shivers into the depth of all my bones, all my muscles and my skin tensed up to the max. Watching this with the sound on to the end took everything I had in me, and I did it! Of course. And now relax, get soft, warm and safe again. ❤ till next time.
Dang this is beautiful Peter ❤
A2, B1, C1, and D2 are really nice lines.
Cool drawing
Oh my gosh you unlocked a lost memory of mine. I forgot I did that same owl pellet dissection in elementary school.
Hello. I really liked this drawing.
Line 2 in quiz B is my favourite
A2, B2, C1, D4
I do data research as my day job, so I very much appreciate your research project.
Your researching ability unlocked a line nobody else saw, incredible!
Amazing
B3 made me smile
Hi Peter! I agree this is incredibly important research and I have answered 100% with my gut instincts. I wish you luck in your research!
A: 2
B: 3
C: 2
D: 1
That kind of spontaneous, anarchic line making actually made me a bit anxious. Maybe that could be the focus of your next experiment! 😆
A=2, B=1, C=3, D= 1😊 Looking forward to the results!
Very Cool
A:2, B:3, C:2, D:2. Beautiful work, as ever.
A: 3, this is clearly the best, being so uniform
B: 1, sine-wave moustache
C: 3, I was on the edge of my seat here, 10/10
D: 1, Looked kind-of like a face on the right side, very nice
I wonder if the reason that alcohol markers bleed so much more is because ethanol/methanol have much lower surface tensions than water, which lets them soak through more quickly? I presume most general-purpose art papers are designed and tested with water, so it would make sense that when alcohol is used it bleeds more than water-based markers.
My condolences on the left hand. I recommend taking it out of the brace occasionally; make sure to stretch, move, and use it gently rather than keeping it completely static.
Great work! Delicate lines, all good in their own right. I'd like to pick them all, but what don't you do for a graph these days? A:2, B:3, C:2, D:1
A:2 (pretty line)
B:1 (remind me to a kitty idk)
C:2 (yeh)
D:3 (looks like rayman)
Took me scrolling through ~25 answers until I found one with all the same ones I chose!
@@emaguire512 omgg¡,, what do you think of each line? Oo
A,1 B,3 C,3 D,1 you don’t seem to stop giving these wonderful videos can’t wait beautiful boy

my first lang is Farsi (Persian) and Persian calligraphy has a lot of geometry to it: dots, dashes, right corners, dips/vallyes, rises/crests. as is w all handwriting, these strict geometric parameters like right angles and dashes turn into slants and half circles. so writing Farsi in general, but also the art of Persian calligraphy itself, is essential drawing.
I draw geometric patterns and embellish em w Persian calligraphy to create a landscape etc
I like the carhart! Also,

Very brave to add the graffiti looking characters around the border at the end!
Super solid piece!
I bet you'd enjoy coloring lots of your inkings digitally.
Hope your hand gets better soon.

Also, such an awesome piece! Love what you did with the border/frame
Simultaneously one of the hardest and easiest quizes I've ever taken...

B was definitely #2.

really liked this drawing, and the editing of you drawing it. i used some of those big posca pens to draw a giant mural in my parents garage. hope your hand feels better

Btw, your multi-day drawing came out off-the-charts great!
2s across the board for me. Hm
Thank you Peter
Glad your getting after the videos again. Always a pleasure to watch! A1 B3 C2 D1
A;2 - 1 was too short, 3 too long, but 2 was just right. very goldilocks-ish
B;3 - nice abstract swirliness
C;2 - 1 felt a little jarring, and 3 felt like a scary cliff drop
D;3 - scrunkly
I thoroughly enjoyed the quiz. your drawing was incredible too!
We had 2 feet of snow here for 3 weeks thank God you don't have to deal with this pipes are freezing and school is shut down been below 0 it was -2 to -3 outside the heating bill is bad 2 day agow my sister house the water pipe was frozen it is bad well stay safe ✌️

I would like to add that for D, I chose 1 imagining if there wasnt a line breakage there as the motion is what captivated me the most.
Hope fhis helps!

B: 3
C: 2
D: 1
Reasons:
A: 3 - this line has a nice foundational aspect to it, though i found it difficult to separate it from the context of the other two lines, which i suppose is why i say it has a "foundational" aspect to it.. 3 like 1 has a gentle curve to it that i find somewhat alluring, though i'd say that with 3, that gentler curve upwards has a subtle grace to it that my eyes find pleasing.
B: 3 - i like 3 specifically because of the first half of the line.... the two upwards bumps... if you remove the "valley" between them they form a gentle wave and i really appreciate that, along with the flourish on the end, though i must say that the flourish on the end *does* skirt the boundary of overstaying its welcome to my eyes.
C: 2 - compared to the others in this set, 2 is less "harsh" with its composition. 1 overstays its welcome what with it being so jagged, and 3, while its simpler than the other two, it's simplicity along with its abrupt angle without context leads me to favour 2 over 3.
D: 1 - all of these feel rather "crowded", but 1 has a form to it that draws the eyes towards the graceful first half, with the second half adding an almost "Counter" to it, giving balance to an otherwise graceful albeit too simple first half.

Also, I hope your hand is feeling better/feels better soon! Having my drawing hand out of commission is also one of my greatest fears. I don't normally have enough hand pain to stop me from drawing, but whenever I do feel it wearing out, it always worries me a bit, never fun!
A:2 Just felt like the right length
B:1 Felt the most symmetrical and satisfying
C:2 Had the best proportional framing between the jagged and smooth parts
D:2 So hard to choose but again, this one felt like it was the most balanced between rough and smooth
2, 3,2,3
C3 made me wildly uncomfortable. Reminded me of old nightmares id have as a kid.
Great taste!

Fantastic lines all around.
For A,B & C I'll have to go with 2. But then for D i'll go with line number 1.
Looking forward to your research!
A:2 B:3 C:1 D:1 fantastic bunch of lines
A2, B3, C2, D2
It starts with an easy decision: short, medium or long. Each letter gets more complex, dispersing choices more evenly as it gets harder for the quizee to choose. :)

I am interested in what this research will result in Peter... Love your videos and drawing @Peter ;)
I want to know what it means that we chose the same ones. I hope Peter will decipher our results and break it down for us.
@@lilit3307 interesting, I am excited to find out ;)
Don’t know if you’ll see or answer this but I need to ask. You drawings are so impossibly intricate and full of texture and details. Do you have an idea of what you’re going to draw before you start or do you just wing it and see where the drawing takes you?
I just wing it
