Bought one based off this video after being on the fence about it. I'm newer to xc racing and have smaller hands. I think I'm going to make an install and usage video for updated information.
Ok guys I need help with this shit. I knew to the banshee world. I want to install a thumb throttle but I don’t can’t find this brand on eBay . Where can I find it
@@sabor9922 get a new OEM throttle cable as well and make sure you oil the cable and route it correctly. With a 400ex throttle and you're gonna have to dremel out the inside of the 400ex throttle
@@sabor9922 you're supposed to use the original yamaha banshee throttle cable. And the the thumb throttle off a 400ex or Honda rancher, It's real easy man. You also have to dremel out the inside a bit of the 400ex throttle so you can fully accelerate.
@@MrCuervoRacingIm new to riding. Got my first (used 2006) quad recently. I ordered this thumb throttle last week. What are your overall thoughts? Just asking to make sure this upgrade was worth it since I got a laundry list of must buy items such as: new air filter, new oil filter, new brake pads, new tires, etc.
@@bust1120 Not sure what you are talking about. They have been fast about responding to my emails and even sent me a pdf walk through of how to install it on my 06 yfz 450 - not the same installation as other quads. No complaints here. Just my experience though.
@@chrisginoc And why do you do this? I get really bad cramps after riding my yfz 450 and looking for ways to improve the pressure required to pull the throttle. I have heard a lot of people change thei throttle to a 400EX one. Just not sure why

Save your money and get a used 400ex throttle off eBay or something. Helps a lot if you have a banshee.

John haven’t been able to find a 400ex throttle I was looking on eBay. Can the wire just be a new oem honda cable or does it have to 400ex
@@sabor9922 on ebay type in: Honda Rancher throttle used. The honda rancher throttles are the same as the 400ex's.

Do you need to have a speacial carb like a lectron to have a racing throttle like this one
No.this is for stock bike. Works with stock efi and carb

What happens to the throttle limiter screw when you install the Urmosi? I didnt see on here.

I keep reading about this famous 400ex thumb throttle swamp. Really worth it over this Urmosi?

@@finisherone1 easier thumb spring and better bend on thumb lever.more comfortable and easier
