Nice video. Just a ftw for fellow owners, the honda thumb throttle won't fully open 39 PWK's. For those with big carbs and wanting a short thumb lever throw, Cuervo Racing makes a nice thumb throttle. It is not easy on the thumb due to the internal throw but it's awesome for my small hands.
Great Video. I am currently losing my mind trying to put a TRX 90 lever in a 400ex Housing. My OEM Housing bushings are too small to go on the 90 throttle shaft. I ordered another 400 ex lever to try to take the slack out to at least fix that problem and its the same diameter as the 90 lever, wont work with my bushings-Or the lever that pulls the throttle in the housing as the square end of the new levers are slightly too big. I'm thinking Honda changed the part at some point.
There is no individual part number for the complete throttle assembly. Any Honda thumb throttle that looks like this will work. But what do you want to upgrade is the lever itself. This is the part number for the lever itself. 53145-HF7-000. Lever is a bit longer than the average honda lever!
