the explosive movements ie. med ball throws, fast bench press would be beneficial for sure. instead of the OHP, maybe try other shoulder and back movements with dumbbells for a hypertrophy goal in order to build that baseline strength.
Come on overtime what is this? Random isometric hold with DB rows? If anything the grip will give out before the back gets a good stimulus using that heavy of weight. What happened to classic tride and true strength and conditioning for athletes?
