Always check out the fuel cut off solenoid located in the tail unit just above the tailight under the seat, a common problem is the failure of the soleniod which effects the rear cylinder more than the front cylinder, easy and cheap to the replace before writing of the fuel pump
The fuel pump solenoid is controlled from the ECU which is variable depending off the engine, the solenoid allows full 3 PSI pressure at static and a lot less at low to mid RPMs, the fuel stop solenoid is the problem not the pump, best way to check is use a full tank of fuel and run the fuel tank direct to the carbs allowing gravity feed
Lovely old bikes. I had one 20 yrs ago for dispatch riding. I did over 40k in 18 mths and it was 100% reliable. Just changed oil and filter every 6k. The most comfortable bike I have owned.
@@motorcyclerescuer it's well worth it. You will sell it as soon as you advertise it. If the tacho is correct, it's extremely low mileage. Spray the silencer with hi-temp silver, and the job's a goodun.
@@kawasakiaddiction6296 yes the milage is correct with full service history aswell. I'm not keen on silver exhaust paint so my aim will be to polish it up first, depending on how good that looks I'll see if it needs paint. Cheers mate
It's not running spot on yet John, it cuts out in the next video lol. A new fuel pump and filter got it going again though. It needs a second carb clean and it will be stunning I think mate. Thanks for watching as always mate, appreciate it.
Won't you have fried the reg/rec by starting the car & turning the bike engine over? Fuel pump has a relay Charlie A-2290 it may be an intermittent problem. At least you got it running 👏👏. Rude steady and stay safe bud 🤟
The leads only hold a certain amount of power so no cdi issues, the leads were barely sending any power. A new battery starts it well now. Probably needs another carb clean but ots very close to being ready actually. It's a good bike so far.

Yeh I like this one although it has a very slight hesitation in throttle. One more good carb clean should get it sorted I'm thinking.
Cheers mate

Evening mate, nice one. She sounds bloody amazing running 👍😎. New battery??. Thanks for sharing buddy tc Andy
Got one but probably needs a second carb clean. I'll get on it next week I think.
Wow! That’s a HONDA. Even with all that neglect the bike started.
It needed alot of work to run well though. It was pretty neglected..
Thanks for vid matey, great as always, cheers...
I'll throw the next one up today I think. It gets worse before it gets better lol
Nice
Thanks for all your comments Matt.
