Time went so quickly watching your video. And yes I agree with you on not letting the left hand see what the right hand is doing, give discreetly those who give and want people to see how good they are have had their reward, but God sees in secret and that’s the right way. I’ve had the 650cc Deauville and have the 700 now. Good reliable bike.
Hi David, thanks for your comment. I don't mind people seeing the bike charity stuff, free services etc. But giving money, buying things, paying someone's overdue rent etc I don't show for privacy reasons. I appreciate your watching and your comment mate. Charlie
Evening mate, bloody great, she looks lovely mate. Keep positive an things will work out. It's great, you give something away. Nice one. Keep it up mate your doing great. 👍😁😎
I see what you mean by sluggish, very peculiar.. I'm intrigued to see what the issue could be, I'll look at my dads this evening and see if there's any similarities. Keep digging Charlie, great video!
I now put a new fuel filter and pump on and it's pretty much back to normal. I do want to do a second carb clean for my own satisfaction aswell as a balance and then I think it should be good to go.
On my piaggo 125 I'm replacing the speedo cable started pulling old cable threw but just under wheel cover there a thin bit metal sticking hold the speedo cable in place now I'm having trouble releasing the cable
I can't picture what's going on if I'm being honest. It can be abit fiddly pulling the cables through but you just need to take your time and work it out.
It is although it's not heavy and dosnt feel massive at all. It's running now but a touch spluttery. I'll do another carb service and balance next week.
Hi Steve, the piaggio flys and the zips are great in 50cc form, basically any piaggio that's not a gilera The more modern Chinese ones will also do the job, the lexmoti diablo are my favourite looking. The lexmoto fmr or fmx are good enough.
Interesting, honestly I've seen good ones and not so good ones. If you found one that is running well then with good services it should continue to run well. I would avoid any milage over 15k on one if possible
Cheers dude. Got it properly started yesterday and could run it. It was very lightly spluttery so I think I may do a second clean to make sure it's all good. Possibly a balance aswell.
I'm not sure as they are fairly spluttery. I was wondering if the insides had rusted away, although it's not a loud exhaust so probably not. When I test rode it yesterday it was smooth enough but I could feel slight hesitance when opening it up. My guess is the slide diagrams and needles need a clean

Check your valve cover gaskets whilst the air box is off as they leak! I had a leak that kept dripping on the exhaust 👍🏻
Great tip, I think I'm going to go back under there soon so will have a look. I've got no leaks at the moment though.
Love it

Those end cans seem solid ie just exterior rust.
