I had a bike with broken steering stops on the headstock. I fitted a steering damper which had adjustable stops on it for left and right. Passed many mots. Just a thought. It course it requires somewhere to attach on the frame and then other end clamps round fork tube. I'm not sure if a tank is needed? Would the outlay and effort increase the value enough to justify it. I understand it would be a nice bike with no dents but at the price range is it really a deal breaker? Any how just my thoughts, you know what you're doing with these type of bikes so I'm sure you've got it sussed. Peace and love brother as always. 👍✌️❤️

Would it be an option or safe for the steering column… to drill a small hole, tap some threads, and insert a bolt?

I just got mine up and running aftwr 10 year off the road with a wee bit of issues with power after long runs full electrics goes on it and no light will start but thats all any suggestions?

the water pump is located underneath that hose you pulled off and there is a drain bolt there

what was happening with mine, i thought it was the float height too, but it we the plastic levy that allows fuel to flow from the fuel line to the carburetors. i put epoxy to prevent the flow. not too long ago it began to leak again, i removed the carb and allowed fuel to fill the bowls while i held onto the carbs and nothing happened. havent had it leak on me since that last time, quite peculiar. now im onto seeing if i need to adjust the exhaust valve and if i have possible piston ring ware. gonna give it a compression test then a wet compression test and try and see if theres any debris in the combustion chamber that could be waring down the cylinder wall

Charlie the ebay buyer imo was just trying to scam a free bike out of you, in the past when I've sold something that's knackered I've done it through Gumtree as sold as seen so it's classed as buyer beware.

first of all the fly good job you found that oil bolt missing that was another 8 mins from death 2nd ebay it’s never i. the favour of the seller it’s obvious the bloke just wanted something off the bike for his bike so wrong but you get these people who try to play games and it’s very very frustrating for the sellers when you said what it is before they got it , just madness really when you sell 2nd hand should be , test it if your ok before you leave the place where you picked up then it’s sealed job done know moaning it’s fine not try and get a refund seems the world we live in mate are not like me and you ❤

Why would it heat seize on idle Charlie. Surely it has a fan for cooling . That drain plug must have been removed while stopped. The filter would have come out if it had been run like that and probably oil over the rear of the bike and tyre etc . That's a weird one isn't it .

Hello Charlie very pleased to see part two on the 100cc Piaggio I have a gt200 so same engine.i agree with you I would think the fuel line from the tank filter would be the main fault. Green cable tie ! Obviously not a mechanic.as for the drain plug with the oil filter still in place surely it would have fallen out when the engine was running.its only held in by o ring!I would think towards the plug being stolen? What happened to bikers looking after each other! Now you have tested the Piaggio for 15 mins for heat seize probably needs valve adjustments and carburettor clean. Good luck, looks a bit uncared for.surely the oil warning light would have warned the owner? Peter

Hi, I'm the guy who sold you the Outlaw good luck with the bike hopefully its not to much work. I'm not sure how the rear cable got cut that didnt happen when i crashed someone might have cut it in the time it was sitting there which is worrying.

How about using a long scaffolding pole about 6 feet long to twist the forks back into position,like mustie1 does in his videos

That could possibly be a bent frame. i would make sure its not before you sink money into it charlie. low speed crashes can realy do some damage . i know because i have had it happen to me.

Hello charlie.i love watching your videos.being 66 and been a biker for nearly 50 years I am always learning.just a quick question I remember oiling my Honda's 125 with duckhams chain grease with camping stove basically cooking the chain don't now if modern sealed chains would be safe to use that method.what did you use to remove the old grease on the chains soap/ wd40? making it all shiny. I like to pass on what I learnt to my son the next generation who's knows nothing.many thanks keep up the good work I am waiting for the next video Peter

You're missing the variator fan, could be the reason the belt snapped

oh i got same suit as you’re mate for £83 and goes with my ktm 390 but sold it to my mate as he just started delivering on a scooter now i’m totally jealous but he won’t give back said it’s really warm ❤lol you try to help people and end up loosing glad he is warm lol
