Run N Gun Loadout Overview, Pistol and Belt!

- Run N Gun, or RnG, is a dynamic sport involving miles of trail running with 2-gun style shooting stages along the way. Competitors are scored on how fast they move on the trail, and how fast they clear each stage. The scores are combined for a final ranking. Other match elements may include land nav, comms, obstacles, intel gathering, or other challenges.
These videos are my thoughts on standard loadouts. I try to keep these practical; this is the same gear I would grab if the need arose to do 2A things.

Probably not this one, I’m still recovering from a surgery. The next event on my calendar is Pawnee team RnG in July, and that one is still kinda doubtful too.

I haven’t done run n gun but I want to, I’ve done a bunch of 3gun and I shoot duskin 3gun each year but with the running portion is the weight of a steel frame staccato annoying? I was considering using my 34 over my P. Also can you do a video on doing one wrap? I’ve always used wtf straps but the new blue alpha laser cut is funky with wtf straps
The XC is definitely heavy, but the weight gets drowned out by everything else you’re bringing. I try to strip everything else down to be as light as possible except for my guns. Shoot time is so valuable; a pound or two of extra weight won’t really impact my run time, but it could mean a lot to my shoot time if it means bringing something I shoot well.
