Run N Gun Loadout Overview, Rifle and Chest Rig!

Run N Gun, or RnG, is a dynamic sport involving miles of trail running with 2-gun style shooting stages along the way. Competitors are scored on how fast they move on the trail, and how fast they clear each stage. The scores are combined for a final ranking. Other match elements may include land nav, comms, obstacles, intel gathering, or other challenges.
These videos are my thoughts on standard loadouts. I try to keep these practical; this is the same gear I would grab if the need arose to do 2A things.

I wish we had run and gun near me we have everything else here in East Texas. I like the idea of the rmr mount separate from scope mount. Makes more sense. Especially if the scope comes loose or damaged and you have to take it off.

I’m North East of DFW. Most events are a few hours drive but it’s worth it. Bring a friend and make a weekend of it! Check out the WTF, Pawnee, and OED RnGs. Those are probably your closest.

I fuck with that set up, G makes good stuff and if you’re not using a top mounted laser the 3 and 9 are better on the MK4, plus getting your muzzle through a port is easier with a rail that is not as long as your barrel. The credo line is super underrated. I’m a big fan of being able to keep my dots with the mount by using the badger mount and running my dots at a 45. But the arisaka offset mounts are top notch.

Good stuff man. I’ve been doing the WTF run and gun for a couple years now and I’m always looking for ways to adjust my set up for the best comfort and efficiency.
How do you like the chest rig set up? I’ve been thinking of doing that.

I ran along with my kid while he did WTF a few months ago. Fun course! Going to try to hit it again next spring.
I really like the Chicom chest rig. It’s wide enough to be stable and fit all my stuff one deep. I had an Esstac Piggy but couldn’t get into it.

if you use RED Locktite your primary will not come Loose ..HOWEVER I like the individual mounting of the optics
