I have had the pleasure to cross Sheriff Lambs path numerous times and he is exactly what you see in interviews or on Fridays with Frank. This man is honest, down to earth and conducts himself with the utmost integrity. America needs more Sheriff Lambs. Truly a gem.
I just recently found Fridays with Frank. It's great. I've seen a couple of episodes where Sheriff Lamb rode with him and the one where his mom rides with him. lol.

I'm in Pima County. Man, talk about yin and yang. Our sheriff, Chris Nanos, is a real POS. People forgot that he was voted out after his first term because he mismanaged funds, he was called out for his lack of transparency and he used his position to persecute his political opponent.

Agreed, I think the long slide pistols are great as work guns, g34/35 or g40/41 as well as the sig and smith options. Walther has always been a little too different for my tastes, but cool that it was a consideration for the department.
As a Pinal county resident, I am honored to have Sheriff Lamb as my Sheriff. I agree with him 100% I carry either a CZ75-bd or my 1911 and they are within an arms reach at all times. I know that it takes an average of 5 to 7 min to get out calls and I refuse to do nothing in that time. My families safety is my main concern and will do everything in my power so they can have a fighting chance, The reason I love Sheriff Lamb is that he supports people in his community. I have had the pleasure of meeting him and can tell you he is a genuine and trustworth man.
Great interview! As a person living in San Antonio, Tx, we live under very similar situations and circumstances as the good folks in Arizona. We have parallel philosophies on self defense and gun ownership and I truly respect what he does for his community and how he does it. I appreciated the break down on how and why they show up to your home after you’ve had to defend yourself and start the process of what’s happened. It gives us that one step of preparedness for what’s coming and how to handle it. Thank you for what you do
To start, I’m Canadian. Sheriff Lamb makes so much sense in talking about how to protect yourself from home invaders. I’ve thought about this regularly over the years but there is no way trying to protect your life or property, up here, that could well for the home owner. Sometimes, with a LEO who does not immediately arrest and charge you with assault or murder, before he investigates the circumstances it has turned OK. In my entire lifetime (66 yo) I’ve heard of this occurring only once, maybe twice. Usually the homeowner is immediately arrested and then has to go through years of court battles and expensive legal fees where he/she might still end up in prison. In our Charter of Rights and Freedoms it says you have the right to defend your life and home but the legal system puts so many restrictions and conditions on how and when you can legally defend yourself that it, effectively, totally negates any way you can defend yourself. Or, if you have set something aside(other than guns) as means of defending yourself, that something (bat, stick, whatever) may end up being declared an illegal weapon (if you declare the sole reason it was put there was to defend yourself). In Canada, we may have the right to to own guns and defend yourself but the legal system, with the gun ownership restrictions, has actually forbidden us to own or use, the MEANS to effectively defend yourself. Please, never, ever allow your 2nd amendment to be diluted to the extent that it will no longer protect your citizenry.
the Brits have got it worse. they tell us they literally aren't even allowed to keep a rolled up newspaper on their night stand and that they are required to wait for a Police response. that could take up to 45 minutes. During the George Floyd riots I actually had a guy try to choke me on the 4th of July...in texas and because Cops were getting setup for Ambushes that Summer it took them almost an hour to arrive. The guy was drunk and couldn't figure out what he was doing. the way the Laws are written here actually if I had used Force to defend myself under the circumstances I probably would have been charged with a serious crime...because we were popping fireworks and technically that was illegal, which means we were engaged in illegal activity, which means we didn't have a legal right to be where we were and we exchanged words before hand, which means it wouldn't have been Self-Defense if the Prosecutor or DA was a real shit-head and there are plenty of real shit heads to go around. The guy made a threat about one of my kids and I told him to back off my kids and under the law that's all it took for it to negate a self-defense claim. for the sake of my kids since I'm their only surviving Parent I swalloed my Ire and walked away or they would have no one to raise them. they were 15 and 8 and the time. I could have taken that guy apart because he was truly pitiful but it would have backfired on me and that day I was also armed. Politicians don't care what your social contract says. they only care about the current trends and the political atmosphere and what they need to do to grow their power. It's all about them, all the time and they could care less what happens to you. Here we have a Stand Your Ground law, Peaceable Travel Laws, Castle Doctrine and so on. Most Attornies are actually extremely Liberal because this is the political orientation of Bureacrats and the Law profession is a pathway to public Office. It's in their interest to be Liberal as they move into the positions that afford them power and control and naturally with that follows money. hence regardless of our laws, realize that many of the Prosecutors and DA's even here in Texas are Attornies and vote Democrat, are very Liberal, Eliteist and Aristocratic and they oppose anything that empowres the People, including self-defense. they want us to feel helpless and powerless so we have to turn to them for protection and that is where they get their power from.

I've been listening to your podcast for a couple months now and love it! I am a father of 6 that recently just moved to Glendale Arizona from the S.F. bay area. I invested into hidden safes all around our homes with at least 2 rifles and 2 pistols and everyone that is capable of safely using a fire arm is trained to be able to get into the safe in a split second that is mainly my wife, my oldest sons which are 14, and 16 and myself we practice home invasion drills, fire drills etc... I have no military background but train a lot with reputable training groups here in Arizona but before that I literally watched videos and went to the desert, set targets up and trained myself and my wife followed by my oldest sons and oldest daughter. We also have a Kane korso that guards the house 24/7. Needless to say I really would feel bad for anyone that would try to invade our home because if the dog doesn't rip limbs off then there going to have at least 5 people with guns pointed at them. Today I actually caught a couple trying to break into our neighbors house and had my wife call Glendale police as I held them at gunpoint with her standing behind me with one of our shotguns. Then I lay down this evening and see this video. Love what you are doing much respect for you man keep fighting the good fight!

Here, in Colorado, we have the "Make My Day" Law. Allowing the use of deadly force, involving ANY unauthorized intruder. If any other party, enters one's home, uninvited, then there are ZERO restrictions (within Colorado Law) regarding using lethalizing force.
Sheriff Lamb i have nothing but the utmost in respect and admiration for you and your Department because i know first hand how hard it is and what a thankless job it can be. My father was a Police Officer in Orange County Indiana from 1970 to 1991 as West Baden Police Chief, Chief Deputy of the Orange County Sheriffs Department then as Sheriff for eight years and i was a Reserve Deputy from 1983 to 86. Back in those days the Smith & Wesson Model 19 357 Magnum revolver was pretty much King but my Dad and i carried Colt series 70 1911's in .45 acp, four spare mags each and of course your cuffs and chemical mace that was standard at the time and a D cell Maglight and i kept a Gerber Mark 1 boot knife in my combat boots as a back up. Also in 1981 i bought a Colt AR15 Sporter that i kept in the Police car when i became a reserve which at the time was pretty much unheard of. In 79 or 80 the Second Chance soft body armor started hitting the scene for Officers to wear under their duty shirt which was cutting edge at the time. You wouldn't believe the gun fights my father survived, in those day's French Lick/West Baden Indiana was like Fort Apache, Law Enforcement was a Hell of a lot different then than it is today, Officers were allowed to do their jobs without worrying about hurting some ones feelings.

As an AZ resident who has had interactions with Pinal county, I will attest that they're very chill about 2A! Good experience with a Pinal judge too. AZ as a whole is a very pro-gun state. EVERYBODY is carrying around in this state. Crime stays very localized because people in the suburbs are armed here.
Goes to the show the truth. The states with the most gun violence are blue states with strict gun control. It’s a shame that voters are being persuaded by “I’ll take away their guns”

I still didn’t shoot as well on that platform like I do with the Glock 19. It was great though. And then your Shawn Ryan Show. At the time, the Sig P365X-Macro had just came out and I was busy with other things that I didn’t get around to acquiring it. And now, the 365 AXG Legion. Held it and it was a match made in heaven. I’m an hour north of Nashville. People moving here from New York and California have really screwed up our housing market. Talking to local realtors, demand is way outpacing supply and housing is up 25-30% from 3-4 years ago. Realtors say we are still having a large influx of people coming here from those states. Crazy times.

Agreed, I think the long slide pistols are great as work guns, g34/35 or g40/41 as well as the sig and smith options. Walther has always been a little too different for my tastes, but cool that it was a consideration for the department.

As a Pinal county resident, I am honored to have Sheriff Lamb as my Sheriff. I agree with him 100% I carry either a CZ75-bd or my 1911 and they are within an arms reach at all times. I know that it takes an average of 5 to 7 min to get out calls and I refuse to do nothing in that time. My families safety is my main concern and will do everything in my power so they can have a fighting chance, The reason I love Sheriff Lamb is that he supports people in his community. I have had the pleasure of meeting him and can tell you he is a genuine and trustworth man.

Great interview! As a person living in San Antonio, Tx, we live under very similar situations and circumstances as the good folks in Arizona. We have parallel philosophies on self defense and gun ownership and I truly respect what he does for his community and how he does it. I appreciated the break down on how and why they show up to your home after you’ve had to defend yourself and start the process of what’s happened. It gives us that one step of preparedness for what’s coming and how to handle it. Thank you for what you do
To start, I’m Canadian. Sheriff Lamb makes so much sense in talking about how to protect yourself from home invaders. I’ve thought about this regularly over the years but there is no way trying to protect your life or property, up here, that could well for the home owner. Sometimes, with a LEO who does not immediately arrest and charge you with assault or murder, before he investigates the circumstances it has turned OK. In my entire lifetime (66 yo) I’ve heard of this occurring only once, maybe twice. Usually the homeowner is immediately arrested and then has to go through years of court battles and expensive legal fees where he/she might still end up in prison. In our Charter of Rights and Freedoms it says you have the right to defend your life and home but the legal system puts so many restrictions and conditions on how and when you can legally defend yourself that it, effectively, totally negates any way you can defend yourself. Or, if you have set something aside(other than guns) as means of defending yourself, that something (bat, stick, whatever) may end up being declared an illegal weapon (if you declare the sole reason it was put there was to defend yourself). In Canada, we may have the right to to own guns and defend yourself but the legal system, with the gun ownership restrictions, has actually forbidden us to own or use, the MEANS to effectively defend yourself. Please, never, ever allow your 2nd amendment to be diluted to the extent that it will no longer protect your citizenry.
the Brits have got it worse. they tell us they literally aren't even allowed to keep a rolled up newspaper on their night stand and that they are required to wait for a Police response. that could take up to 45 minutes. During the George Floyd riots I actually had a guy try to choke me on the 4th of July...in texas and because Cops were getting setup for Ambushes that Summer it took them almost an hour to arrive. The guy was drunk and couldn't figure out what he was doing. the way the Laws are written here actually if I had used Force to defend myself under the circumstances I probably would have been charged with a serious crime...because we were popping fireworks and technically that was illegal, which means we were engaged in illegal activity, which means we didn't have a legal right to be where we were and we exchanged words before hand, which means it wouldn't have been Self-Defense if the Prosecutor or DA was a real shit-head and there are plenty of real shit heads to go around. The guy made a threat about one of my kids and I told him to back off my kids and under the law that's all it took for it to negate a self-defense claim. for the sake of my kids since I'm their only surviving Parent I swalloed my Ire and walked away or they would have no one to raise them. they were 15 and 8 and the time. I could have taken that guy apart because he was truly pitiful but it would have backfired on me and that day I was also armed.
Politicians don't care what your social contract says. they only care about the current trends and the political atmosphere and what they need to do to grow their power. It's all about them, all the time and they could care less what happens to you. Here we have a Stand Your Ground law, Peaceable Travel Laws, Castle Doctrine and so on. Most Attornies are actually extremely Liberal because this is the political orientation of Bureacrats and the Law profession is a pathway to public Office. It's in their interest to be Liberal as they move into the positions that afford them power and control and naturally with that follows money. hence regardless of our laws, realize that many of the Prosecutors and DA's even here in Texas are Attornies and vote Democrat, are very Liberal, Eliteist and Aristocratic and they oppose anything that empowres the People, including self-defense. they want us to feel helpless and powerless so we have to turn to them for protection and that is where they get their power from.

I’m a pinal county resident and firefighter in pinal county. All the deputies love sheriff mark lamb! He’s well respected and we would hate to lose him to the senate but he would do amazing things!
I've been listening to your podcast for a couple months now and love it! I am a father of 6 that recently just moved to Glendale Arizona from the S.F. bay area. I invested into hidden safes all around our homes with at least 2 rifles and 2 pistols and everyone that is capable of safely using a fire arm is trained to be able to get into the safe in a split second that is mainly my wife, my oldest sons which are 14, and 16 and myself we practice home invasion drills, fire drills etc... I have no military background but train a lot with reputable training groups here in Arizona but before that I literally watched videos and went to the desert, set targets up and trained myself and my wife followed by my oldest sons and oldest daughter. We also have a Kane korso that guards the house 24/7. Needless to say I really would feel bad for anyone that would try to invade our home because if the dog doesn't rip limbs off then there going to have at least 5 people with guns pointed at them. Today I actually caught a couple trying to break into our neighbors house and had my wife call Glendale police as I held them at gunpoint with her standing behind me with one of our shotguns. Then I lay down this evening and see this video. Love what you are doing much respect for you man keep fighting the good fight!

Here, in Colorado, we have the "Make My Day" Law. Allowing the use of deadly force, involving ANY unauthorized intruder. If any other party, enters one's home, uninvited, then there are ZERO restrictions (within Colorado Law) regarding using lethalizing force.

Sheriff Lamb i have nothing but the utmost in respect and admiration for you and your Department because i know first hand how hard it is and what a thankless job it can be. My father was a Police Officer in Orange County Indiana from 1970 to 1991 as West Baden Police Chief, Chief Deputy of the Orange County Sheriffs Department then as Sheriff for eight years and i was a Reserve Deputy from 1983 to 86. Back in those days the Smith & Wesson Model 19 357 Magnum revolver was pretty much King but my Dad and i carried Colt series 70 1911's in .45 acp, four spare mags each and of course your cuffs and chemical mace that was standard at the time and a D cell Maglight and i kept a Gerber Mark 1 boot knife in my combat boots as a back up. Also in 1981 i bought a Colt AR15 Sporter that i kept in the Police car when i became a reserve which at the time was pretty much unheard of. In 79 or 80 the Second Chance soft body armor started hitting the scene for Officers to wear under their duty shirt which was cutting edge at the time. You wouldn't believe the gun fights my father survived, in those day's French Lick/West Baden Indiana was like Fort Apache, Law Enforcement was a Hell of a lot different then than it is today, Officers were allowed to do their jobs without worrying about hurting some ones feelings.

As an AZ resident who has had interactions with Pinal county, I will attest that they're very chill about 2A! Good experience with a Pinal judge too.
AZ as a whole is a very pro-gun state. EVERYBODY is carrying around in this state. Crime stays very localized because people in the suburbs are armed here.
Goes to the show the truth. The states with the most gun violence are blue states with strict gun control. It’s a shame that voters are being persuaded by “I’ll take away their guns”
I am because of you. Been watching you since Vigilance Elite. I always take up on your advice for EDC guns. I had the Glock 43 with extended mag to get a good grip. I still didn’t shoot as well on that platform like I do with the Glock 19. It was great though. And then your Shawn Ryan Show. At the time, the Sig P365X-Macro had just came out and I was busy with other things that I didn’t get around to acquiring it. And now, the 365 AXG Legion. Held it and it was a match made in heaven. Threw the Romeo X on it and call it good. I am not messing with anything else for my EDC gun. As for the trigger, I practice it enough that I’m used to it. So thanks you for your advertisement. It worked. Been working for years. 🤣

Having seen Sheriff Lamb on Fridays With Frank on the PCSO channel and by his own admission uses social media to highlight what's happening in his county and Arizona i think he's great guy.
Great show, thanks for having Sheriff Lamb on. The Sheriff hit on some good points; people need to learn how to stand tall and don't be a victim. Always be at the ready. I do mean, always. If a person is not sure on what to do, some people offer self-defense classes, covering many different points.

I’m an hour north of Nashville. People moving here from New York and California have really screwed up our housing market. Talking to local realtors, demand is way outpacing supply and housing is up 25-30% from 3-4 years ago. Realtors say we are still having a large influx of people coming here from those states. Crazy times.
