Night Vision Skeet Shoot!!! After Action Report and Videos of Smashing Clays...
After action report from our Night Vision skeet shoot using nods and IR. We had some surprising results on equipment and tactics that worked well. Thanks to TGE for hosting us, and TGE and DJ_Skinny to capturing video. @SpicySnafu provided some of the closeups of my Remington 870 with EotTech EXPS and MAWL.

Integrated comp not muzzle break homie
It’s not full auto so 5k no, not worth it 😢
I got the same set up beside the grip texture fun fun to shoot at the range
My next gun
Until you drop it ‼️
I try not to drop any of my weapons lol
still using stock spring lbs to this point?
I’ve gone up a pound at one time but I might be back at factory weight. I’ve played around with it a little but haven’t noticed much of a difference either way.
ok, @mustangduckk get me a bed in your house for few days...I come here 😂😂😂😂
I love it 😮
@@EdwardValentine-k4l #metoo lol
That pistol looks like its in its prime......looks great sounds great
It stays in its prime lol! Staccato has taken care of me for the most part. I feuded with them over failing mag springs in the 26rd mags but a super chill tech took care of me even when the front desk wouldn’t. This means the corporate culture is healthy towards us shooters at the end of the day.
If you have the disposable income, buy it and enjoy it. I put an apex in my m&p with monsoon ports and it shoots just as flat for 1/3 the cost. Much better option for us poors haha
There’s a lot you can do with the striker fired platforms these days, and there’s some discount priced 2011 clones too.
5k is insane for a pistol. At that price point it’s a 1 of 1 race gun custom made from the ground up.
In fairness, you can knock off 1k+ from the accessories alone. Nevermind that at 5k the only custom race gun you're getting is an entry-offering from a brand new shop that hasn't established itself yet...as opposed to 8-9k plus for an Atlas or the like.
All good thoughts here. The XC is on the edge of custom pistol price. You could make argument either way, but I’m happy with my pistol for what I do.
It’s worth it
That was beautiful
Thanks man!
I've shot them and definitely can tell the difference. Worth it if you have the money and will put it to work like it's intended.
I tell people it’s worth it if it won’t cut into your ammo/training budget. A well trained guy with a Glock will smoke someone with a 2011 that can’t afford to shoot it.
😭😭😭 there r not dealer of staccato in french!!!!😭😭😭
Come to Texas. You can send a few mags through mine!
Beautiful
Thanks man!
Not for the majority. A Glock with some classes is a better allocation of cash. But if your the type of person to watch a Vid like this...ya most definitely worth it.
lol most of my audience is from outside the US and has probably never seen a firearm not owned by their government. But generally yes I agree with the notion; if upgraded hardware won’t cut into your training budget, then it’s time to consider upgrading.
Just opened up my YT and saw this. Funny thing is I’ve been meaning to reach out and talk to you about yours. I’m thinking I might take the plunge and pick one up
@@michaelford499 hey man! I’ll be glad to hand you a mag next time we catch up.
This is the coolest pistol that ill never own due to price 😂.
They are expensive but there are some really good options for entry level 2011s these days.
For someone else maybe but me nope.
this cost more than my honda.
It cost more than my daily driver at the time I bought it lol.
I guess if you can afford the price….for me no
Judging by the costs and your demonstration, HELL NAW it ain't worth it! Are you stupid?
No
As a competition shooter I went with the XL, not sure what niche the XC Is supposed to fill.
Def worth it ! I love the way mine shoots .
@@marku123 I’ve never heard an XC owner regret the purchase.
@@mustangduckkit’s easy to see why ! I just got mine last week and shot it a few times . I can’t stop holding and looking at it ! Lol Now they need the next version of the “C” with a built in comp and I’m all over it .
It’s definitely worth it I shot that same setup and makes you feel like you hit anything
@@chadmonjackson7211 I just miss really fast with mine lol.
no
I just love how flat those things shoot and how smooth the slide moves
@@EyeCue23 it is the most shootable pistol I’ve ever had much trigger time with.
@@mustangduckk worth every penny i bet! And is that the smaller version of staccato or the full size
@@EyeCue23 it’s 4.X” plus the integrated brake, making it the same length as a 5” pistol. I have a C2 with comp milled in after the fact and it’s just not the same. The XC has a special place in my heart.
Money is relative when talking about what someone likes. $5k may be small money to you and a months salary to others..
judging by the scuffs and small scratches it gets used alot and that makes me happy it doesnt sit in a safe and isnt a flex or showpiece
@@abandonedbag720 yeah it gets around lol. It’s currently rattle canned in UNSC/ODST markings from the Halo video game. My kid and I ran the staccatos in a team RnG and our team name was Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.
Hey, im late to the party, but just out of curiosity. Why not use the slide release? Is it a preference, the slide release is too small for you to use? Just curious cuz i feel like thats a feature that every person should be able to use😅 but if it's a preference, totally understandable.
@@L86END I’m 50-50 on whether I hit the slide release weak hand or sling shot it. I’ve been focusing more lately on not hitting slide lock in the first place.
C2-XL-XC all make it impossible for other manufacturers to stay relevant. Just sayin. The CS? Meh.
@@mylifewithgodjohngerardgal978 staccato is the best bang for the buck in the 2011 world.
Robinson Richard Jackson Jason Moore John
Nice gloves there slick.😂
It may be worth it to some but I can't justify that price for a pistol with no major military history behind it. If I had 5k to drop on a pistol I'd go for a ww2 collectable. But that's just me.
HK Sig or Glock! All battle tested!
@@defilade1066 my edc is a glock 45 lol. Love my glocks
To me no , to you I hope so lol 😂 nice looking gun man !
Awesome gun but worth it? Depends on the user I guess. You could trick out a Prodigy with internals and same externals and still not be over 5k. Before some soy boy says something about the Prodigy, shoot one that has been tricked out all the way for racing. Staccato no doubt is the Ferrari, but you can make a Corvette run just as fast with the right mods. All personal preference. 🤷🏾♂️
@@BrownSuga-cs2by my buddy did exactly this with a 4.25” Prodigy. He spent a ton of time learning and tuning the internals. I’d compare the final result as closer to a Staccato P. The integrated comp is kinda what makes the XC, but you’re right there’s a lot of good options out there these days!
I have a prodigy all stock. Mine has an outstanding trigger right out of the box. I absolutely love it.
@@snakeplissken44 I really want to pick up a Prodigy for a suppressor host. They have a fantastic bang for the buck.
Every staccato video is just dudes mag dumping the gun.
I can miss really fast with it. It’s very impressive lol!
Is it worth it”guess it depends on how much money u have 😂
Best value comped 2011 out there. If there’s one Staccato to buy and keep forever, it’s this one.
It really does hit a sweet spot in $/performance.
Bul is much better value
@@changeyourparadigm I have both, XC and a gen 2 bul tac pro 5” While the Bul holds its own against the XC and is an incredible value, the comp on the XC mitigates muzzle flip better and makes it a less aggressive recoil impulse during cycling. I’m comparing the XC to other comped mid to high tier 2011’s. Erebus, sandhawk, taran vipers and similar are all considerably more and arguably not better (except Erebus). And please don’t say prodigy comp 🤣. Bul will release the Tac pro comp, ported and comped next year for around 3k i’m guessing and that is quite exciting.
Just dont drop it lol
lol agreed
If you can afford it, Yes. An excellent gun made in the great State of Texas, Vet owned and operated. Targeted at shooters. Joe Mechanic, Joe Cop or GI Joe😅. I wish they were cheaper but I can justify paying my fellow Americans for an excellent product. My XC is set up the same way plus a Cheely agressive texture grip module. I cant stand slick (ish) grips anymore. I'm all about building freakish calluses from shooting. The Cheely agressive is a meat grinder . Just how i like it.😁
Yeah if I’m shooting, I’m wearing gloves. Too many hit things around, broken glass, twisted metal, brush, etc., and that’s just really training for the competition side. The exception is if I’m training on my carry pistol. Then I’m just going bare handed.
No
Looks like it gets used enough to justify the price. Is the wear legit? I want a stacato
It’s 100% real wear. Fake wear on guns is cringe lol. I’m between 20-30k rounds through it.
@mustangduckk awesome so id say its 100% worth it. I got the Tisas 1911 ds carry to hold me over until i can get a stacato. The Tisas is awesome though i definitely love that gun
@@MichiGUNderthere’s some really good budget options for both 2011 pattern guns and mags! I have the XC and a C2 and love them both, but if I had to pick one and done it would be a P.
@mustangduckk i was set on the xc but have never shot or even held a stacato thanks for the advice
HELL YEAH ITS WORTH IT!!!!!👍👍💥💥💯💯
Will it fire if you drop it? Then probably not.
mid ride holster for glock 17 gen 1 p80 (lefty) ?
Canik TTI Combat for 20% of the price and 90% of the performance.
lol no.
Of course you are going to disagree. You are a sucker. The emperor's new clothes.😂@@mustangduckk
