Beware of the man who only has one gun… He probably spent all his money on it 😂 In all seriousness, if you’re only going to have one pistol to rule them all (and a CCW or two), and everything else is just going to collect dust, no point in keeping them around. I guess it all depends on if you primarily view guns as tools or fancy toys/collectibles. You clearly see it as a very capable tool, and that’s very respectable. Buy once, cry once.
Haha absolutely no safe queens around me. I wish I took my own advice and stopped purchasing after this one - but regardless the XC continues to get the most range time. I need to lock this away for a bit so the rest of my collection gets some range time lol.
I've had my XC for a week now. Luckily i got it blue line but i was about to pay full price. The extra magazines were an awesome touch also. Worth every penny.
In December 2018, I surprise Santa'd myself and bought an STI DVC 3-gun. In the next eight months, I put 24,000 rounds through it. Got some arthritis in my right hand I shot it so much. Once you get a really nice pistol, it's hard to shoot anything else. Like driving a fast car then getting into a Corolla.
No remorse here. Love my XC. Some beefs though. Under sprung as received. Cheap fix with 10lb recoil spring. Grip not sticky enough, not so cheap fix with aftermarket grip module (Cheely). Added a red dirt flat trigger for giggles. Add a RMR HD and X300 V, Damn near perfection for me.
The XC is a like a Porsche GT3. You'd buy one if you could afford one. You won't understand how good a GT3 is until you test drive one then you're gonna want one. Same goes for the XC. Is it worth $4300?... probably not. Is a GT3 worth $150k?... probably not. Is it better?... absolutely. Will it make you shoot better?... probably but your miles may vary and for $4300, you could get a cheaper DS1911, add upgrades, and have lotsa money leftover for ammo, a rifle, and maybe a shotgun. Should you buy one? Yes, if you can afford it comfortably. Not many other pistols will shoot as fast and as flat as the XC. The faster you shoot, the flatter she goes. Just keep your bullets at 140+ power factor and you will be smiling lots!
My only cons for the Staccato P/XC…with a full build of what I think I need in a gun battle…cost-they gonna take it for awhile and the total carrying weight day to day with that leg iron-it’s pretty uncomfortable for me…my daily/warm weather-spring summer fall is a Springfield Hellcat RDP, shield smsc red dot, 15rnd mag and a streamlight tlr-8, black point tactical leather wing for a holster…winter-my Staccato P with same build
The C2 as well can be a bit bulky for summer carry. I’ll be doing a video on the Sig Legion P365 AXG soon which is a great balance of performance, capacity, and size in my opinion. I’ll have the checkout the Hellcat - I’ve only heard good reviews
If you have remorse after buying a staccato you don’t have very good fundamentals. Only people that don’t improve with a staccato have tiny hands or have poor fundamentals. That accuracy inspires confidence.
I’m buying a used XC this week without an optic plate. I already have a RMR HD in hand. What optic plate are you using? Any overhang problems like casting hitting the optic? Thanks
I’m using the Dawson Precision plate. Staccato sells them on their website. Perfect fitment and no issues whatsoever - Dawson makes them specifically for Staccato. I’ve heard some say that the SRO overhangs too far but I’ve personally never experienced a casing hitting the optic. Congrats on the purchase, you’re going to love it
@@nickdamz2668 Awesome! I was going to buy a 507 Comp instead if it’s going to be a problem. You’re a big help. Thank you for the help bud. Much appreciated.
I honestly like my CZ P-07 more than the staccato xc right now. With the cost of shipping the CZ to JagerWerks for slide work it’s half the cost of the staccato.
The first con: It’s so good you won’t shoot your other guns 😂😂😂😂hell yeah I’m waiting on my Canik TTI combat to be able to come home with me. It’s my poor mans Staccato 😂😂
The only negative I see is strictly the price... I make decent money but in no way can I just go and spend $4500 at one time on a hobby. Only way I can afford it is too go put it on layaway and pay almost half up front. I probably will soon, I need one. I'll EDC it lol already carry a Prodigy with x300/acro.
Most places, at least in my personal experience only ask for 20% down on a firearm layaway. So you could just drop a little 800, and then pay some here some there. And then next thing you know you have a Staccato. Do it man!
While the price is very steep, I don’t regret purchasing it in the slightest. My biggest mistake was buying numerous (and I mean a significant) number of inferior firearms before buying this one, which have in total far exceeded my investment in this
Here’s a thought for you. I was Just in the same position with an Atlas Erebus. Instead of robbing my bank for $7500 I found a Wells Fargo credit card that’s offering 0% APR for 21 months. Now I’m not going to take anywhere near that amount of time to pay it off, maybe 2 months, but why use your cash if you don’t have to. Just a thought.
I don't make alot of money, either and I bought a P. I've been to the range twice, and it makes me want to be a better shooter. I probably won't buy another for me, but if my wife wants one,,, it's hers. Do it, you'll love it
Love the Staccato line up even though I don’t have one. There is a video floating around of one firing a primer round after being dropped, which is the whole P320 problem but costing 3-5x as much. Still a great shooting gun.
It is a series 70 trigger so that is to be expected. Either you get drop safe or you get a nice trigger. Either way, someone will complain. Age old debate. Just fyi.
I guess I got click baited. Cause there’s no remorse on those words
😁

I own firearms that range from $500 to. $8,000. I have zero remorse in any. Including my Taran Tactical Pit Viper, Atlas Athena, and my Staccato XC.
Same here!
If i was going to spend the money on the XC i think id just save a few more bucks and buy an Atlas

Awesome - completely agree
WHAT'S WRONG WITH A CORROLA GOT 200,000 ON MINE BEEN PAID FOR SINCE 2012 MONEY I SAVED ON GAS AND INTEREST FOR NEW CAR I BOUGHT A STACCATO
I really like your review! I sure hope I can afford a staccato some day…😢
Thank you!

Many great alternatives. I would not put the XC in the value category that’s for sure!
Unless I can shoot lasers like starwars the price is too high. It's a down payment on a home somewhere, I'm sure
Although it doesn’t shoot lasers, it sure does feel like it! 😂
They make those in left handed?
Don’t believe so - the safety is ambi but don’t believe they offer a model with the slide and mag release on the other side

Extremely high priced boat anchor ⚓️
Compared to what?
Bet you don’t shoot much.. if at all 😆

@@RetARMYjohn touché, fair point.
Awesome
He said keyhole
I regret it heavy as a brick
Yeah it is but i've shot one i'm in the market
Most competition handguns have additional weight to reduce felt recoil
Have you ever seen a XC tuxedo?
They’re super nice
I installed a Atlas grip on mine. It feels so good.
Should check out night hawk custom. Fantastic guns.
The Sand Hawk is certainly on my watchlist. I was unimpressed by the Korth NSX but have heard only good things about the Sand Hawk
@@nickdamz2668 they also make a TRS.
@@Grant-k7z sounds good will check it out
Cool
Thanks!
i couldnt get past the ear buds!!
Spent my production budget on the gun!
I know a guy who trained every week, still got clapped by a hi point
That checks out - I can probably be outshot by a slingshot some days lol
What's your point?
😂
No you don’t. Lol😂.
