I am a widowed single mother having lost my beloved husband 13yrs ago while I was battling a horrible life threatening illness, at a time when our daughter was just seven years old. Every word that Tracy uttered went straight to the very core of my heart and it made me shed tears, uncontrollably... Having gone through the same experience of emotional trauma, physical challenges, financial hardships, even long, tiring and nerve‐wracking legal battles, I could very easily identify with her advocacy and genuinely in all sincerity, sympathise with the other women who faced or are still facing the same level or amount of tribulations but who might even be in worser situations than I was, bereft of outside help from family members and/or friends. And I completely agree with her that oftentimes, these single mothers or even single fathers are overlooked.. It doesn't matter how often I watch this clip, it continues to make my tears fall.. As per promoting Puerto Rico, she has further displayed through her eloquence that she is indeed a brilliant communicator and a very tough competitor to beat in this pageant!!! She incorporated ALL the necessary adjectives needed to describe and promote Puerto Rico in such a way that it didn't sound commercialised or patronising!
Honestly speaking, I was more of a Miss Universe fan and seldom follow Miss World, except at the time when MWPH Megan Young competed and won. But now I came to realise that this pageant is just as deep and relevant, or perhaps even more! I watched all the 16 groups of the Head to Head Challenge and so many, a wide number of candidates are actually quite brainy! However, I am fervently praying (take note: I use the word pray, not just hope) that Tracy will win the crown because she has all what it takes to become the next Miss World!!! 🙏🙏🙏

I can feel your story maam as much as Tracy's. And I agree with you that Tracy's THE VERY TOUGH COMPETITOR TO BEAT THIS PAGEANT. And others say that she's the same caliber as Catriona Gray, Pia Wurtzbach and Megan Young and according to Anita Faith she is the best candidate that Philippines had ever sent to date (what a word!!!). We just hope that she will win Miss World 2021 so that such single mother concern will be resolved and put into action.

Tracy's platform on Beauty with a Purpose is astoundingly unique. It was my first time hearing this kind of platform on empowering single moms out there. It was very realistic that you have to start empower single mom, so that they can empower their children even w/o the support of a father. This is a very good start in empowerment on women, it should start from a mother to the children and so onwards. True single mom were neglected and were not given so much attention. It embodies the entire world what kind of Beauty with a Purpose Project Tracy has to offer in the World with passion. God Bless Tracy. Im not a single mom, but hearing Tracy made me teary eyed. Being a single mother myself for a long time, her speech and the way she delivered it actually hit straight to the heart. It’s full of empathy and emotion.
my sister is a single mom of two beautiful kids, with two different fathers and both men left her. she couldnt find a job and had no financial support from those two men so i decided to take over the responsibility from the time kids were born...im single but i sacrificed my own happiness because she had no one to turn to...it is not easy...and hearing Tracy talking about the support for single moms makes me emotional. this speech moves me and makes me cry because i have gone through a lot for my sister, my nephew and my niece.

Being an ambassador to Puerto Rico most of them are somewhat similar but when Tracy speaks, it made you eagerly listen whats next she has to say, has an amazing start trying to talk Spanish with all the smiles and wit. But by telling a short story how a Puerto Rican welcoming words and kindness radiates Tracy's feeling. Follows by impressive words, makes Tracy genuinely a True Ambassador to Puerto Rico. First off, Tracy is articulate. Her sentences are beautifully constructed, almost lyrical even. And as you astutely observed, she's able to deliver a speech in an organized, logical manner. But what gave both her speeches depth and substance are the specifics.
In the platform speech, not only did she expound on the "why" of her project in which she came across as sincere and thoughtful, but more importantly, she outlined the "how" of it. She presented specific and succinct examples of exactly what could and should be done to address the issue at hand denoting that she actually had a plan. She was not just mumbling and parroting generalities. She was clearly displaying the workings of a mind that knows critical thinking.
And even more impressive was her unrehearsed "tourism" speech in which she established her point by citing an actual personal experience and drawing from it a captivating conclusion. What could be more endearing than to appreciate and highlight a country’s most valuable asset, its people. This in addition to the beauty of its natural resources as she brilliantly added.

Philippines 🇵🇭 really showed so much fashion, eloquence, and boldness. She moved us among the rest of the "beauty with the purpose." She gave hope, courage and strength to all the single mother in the world to have that light despite of hardships they've been experiencing racing their families alone. Giving women empowerment in our country and even to the whole world with a lot of single mothers who have been neglected with the government support and slowly been given chance and opportunities to stand tall especially in this time of pandemic.
Luis, did you watch the entire video of this Head to Head Challenge? If you did, you'd notice that Maureen was paired with Miss Mexico who had grown up in the U.S. and spoke with hardly no accent! And yet, it did not faze Maureen and she delivered. Kudos to her because throughout she was composed, articulate and amazing!
She speaks with passion, power, authority, charisma and conviction. Eloquent and intelligent. Hope she wins the crown. Actually, i think she has the makings of a good leader, more than a beauty queen. If she decides to run for public office, she has a very good chance of winning. Her speech is very realistic. She’s nailing her every performance because she doesn’t need to utter pure theoretics; she delivers her statements based from her personal experiece which most of the people in the pageant world neglect to see.
Tracy Maureen's advocacy has WAY MORE WEIGHT & SUBSTANCE (than Mexico's or maybe anyone else's, but 3 other head-to-head-challenge winners have to be heard yet) about EMPOWERING MOTHERS by teaching mothers skills like B.P.O. & COMPUTER TRAININGS, etc. and furthermore willing to help her mother if she is still alive through her PARA KAY NANAY: A MOTHER'S JOURNEY TO LOVE. She cited that there are more or less 2000 single mothers in Cordova, Cebu Philippines so imagine how many single mothers in the world that are NOT GIVEN THE SUPPORT by the government or any sectors of our society. Thus, she come up with such project. AMBIGAT. It COMPLEMENTS the advocacy's (of any pageants or even Miss World) about EMPOWERING WOMEN and she furthers that any pageants are advocating "empowering women" and she observes this concern are overlooked and neglected which is why she thought of resolving this in her own little way by collaborating with an organization. There is a tendency that even if Maureen did not win before a fast track EXCEPT HEAD TO HEAD CHALLENGE (which she is now one of the 4 winners in round 3), there's a chance that she would be the ULTIMATE WINNER against her 3 co-winners on such head to head challenge in the end of that preliminary (Recently, she was chosen as one of the Top 5 Beauty With A Purpose winners), and eventually will win MISS WORLD 2021. Undoubtedly, Maureen is THE VERY TOUGH ONE TO BEAT in Miss World 2021. Some would say she is in the same caliber or league with Catriona Gray, Pia Wurtzbach, and Megan Young. There is one netizen said that she is the best Filipina candidate that Philippines had ever sent. I believe she is not just a GREAT STORY TELLER & EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR but also a GREAT ADVOCATOR, GREAT IMPLEMENTER and GREAT AMBASSADRESS to such causes that coincides with Miss World motto or slogan "BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE" that promotes women empowerment as well and that single mother's skills training project of Tracy is a mean of women empowerment.
I observed that Miss Morley on one of the videos uploaded on TH-cam was kind of MOVED and sort of wiping her tears by what Tracy's narrated about the 2000 single mother in Cordova, Cebu and I think it made Ms. Morley realized about the single mothers situation today that are neglected and overlooked and need to be addressed, noticed and resolution has to be done. That negligence can be wake up call to the government, any local government, and any sectors of the society. And such Miss World Organization can be the means or tools or platform to its realization. And. lately I heard that Ms. Morley is willing to fund Tracy's project or advocacy and the former is willing to go here in the Philippines. That something is a plus point for Tracy for her winning Miss World.
I just hope and pray that Tracy wins Miss World so that such global single mother's concern are put into a bigger scale so that there are more single mothers in the world are being helped by Miss World Organization and eventually by each country's government and any sectors of each country.

Her project is very tangible. Her goal precise and the expected results concrete. She delivered the presentation smoothly, properly injected with emotional tone. Filipinos are familiar with Spanish since we were under them for years, and that's why we have so many Spanish surnames including hers. We have so many Spanish words particularly in the Visayan dialect. Tracy being from Cebu and Visayan-speaking, she is familiar with some of the Spanish words and how to pronounce them.

Kudos to Tracy for having a heart to single mother's 'coz my mom is also a solo parent to 5 children & sadly she raised us on his own! My father died when I was 3 yrs. old, our eldest is only 12 & the youngest was only 6 month's! She's been through a lot to a point doing any kind's of work just to fed us!
Thankful that there's a lot of relative's helping my mother! But it's not easy to raised 5 children without a partner 'coz my Mom never tried to have another one, she just spending all her time & life to us!
Now she's already 79 yrs. old & just chillin', it's our time to taking good care of her & Her love is so genuine & we love her for that!❤️
