- Today we have a Catriona Gray Reaction to her Interview with Boy Abunda during her The Bottomline appearance (Talk on Tuesday) right before she left for Miss Universe 2018 in Thailand.
This Catriona Gray Interview has been requested so many times and after watching this video I truly understand why. There is so much substance in this Q and A and Boy Abunda did an outstanding job!
Moments like this prove that Catriona was a lot more than her Lava Walk or a nice gown, but she is a woman of knowledge and a lot of soul.
This interview was recorded prior to Catriona Gray Winning Miss Universe 2018 so I believe that to a certain extent, Boy Abunda was predicting the future all throughout this Question and Answer session.

Catriona Gray is by far, in my opinion, the strongest Filipino pageant representative the Philippines has ever produced. Her eloquence, wit, style, beauty, creativity, attitude, nationalism and intelligence are truly unparalleled. She is an international representative that the Philippines can definitely rely on. Many Filipinos thoroughly wanted the next Miss Universe Filipino delegates to be as amazing and impressive as Catriona, but so far, Gazini Ganados and Rabiya Mateo, are nowhere near Catriona’s caliber. Gazini and Rabiya were amazing in their own right, but Catriona is just miles and miles ahead of them.
_(Frankly, I think the next Filipino candidate who could be equal to or surpass Cat’s excellence has not been born yet. Catriona Gray is one in a century.)_
In addition, I think Megan Young is the second strongest Filipino pageant representative that the Philippines has produced.
In Filipino pageants history my top 3 strongest and very competitive candidates are Catriona,, Megan and Pia 🇵🇭😍
Pia's winning is an epic memories and Catriona Gray's winning is perfect, unquestioned, and out of the box story. If there is a top five most memorable winning in Miss Universe history, I'm surely our two miss universe will be in the list.

Boy Abunda used to be the Q and A mentor of all Binibining Pilipinas candidates aiming for the crowns of Miss Universie, Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Globe and Miss Supranational.
Even former beauty queens agree that she was the most prepared candidate and that was a big factor in her winning. Everything that Catriona did was to level up the caliber and she wanted to see a picture of a TRUE queen! All aspects!
When Tito Boy Abunda talked about Julius Caesar and of the man at the back telling him "You are human" repeatedly. I think he was trying to support his suggestion to Cat about having that 1 friend who will always remind you of who you are, so that you will not lose your grounding. :)
Correct it was to remind you of who you are, cuz sumtimes at some point people will lose their self and having sumone beside them to remind who they truly ar, e is helpful

She was the best Miss Universe Philippines ever sent to Miss Universe. And the most intelligent Miss Universe ever! She was the most undoubted and unquestioned winner of Miss Universe. Miss Universe 2018 was the best edition ever. The winner is the clearest winner, not even the slightest of doubt.
Agree! If the judges of Miss Universe 2020 were as fair as 2018, the CLEAR winner should be Miss Puerto Rico. She slayed and outshined all the candidates during the competitions, the same wat when Catriona did during her time.

It's good that you're open-minded to watch tito Boy's talk show esp on this sitcom on how he handles the beauty queen/s. You have now the idea on why he's RESPECTABLE, INTELLEGENT & CREDIBLE of his on point UNBIASED opinions about our candidates esp with his critics to the latest candidate that we sent to MU.
I heard she’s not supposed to win the Ms Universe Philippines but when the judges were deciding with Pia she said if you really want a winner by the category of Ms. Universe it has to be Catriona. Good advice got good result it was really a back to back win for Philippines. Catriona was really great representing anything Filipino mostly in her wardrobe from the star earpiece, national costume to the gowns. She may be half Filipina but has a pure Filipino heart.
Boy Abunda is one of the most influential figures in the Philippines. He is known for how he speaks and he interviews people. He is a Public Speaking Icon.
